Roman, a bit of constructive criticism. Long-time subscriber here. When interviewing people or asking them to discuss products, please let them talk. The camera is on them for a reason. You have a bad habit of asking questions, then rudely interjecting unnecessary noise with "yep yep yep" as they're speaking, and cutting them off before they finish a sentence. It gives the impression of impatience and rushing whoever you've got the camera on. Very rude. If you don't want to hear what people have to say, don't ask. Just do a walk-around video talking about the vehicle yourself. The poor guy had a hard time spitting out a full sentence without being cut off. It makes these types of show and tell videos feel manic. Just let others speak when you prompt them. Also, don't tell people their business. These people are reps for their respective companies. It's their job to explain the vehicles. Let them do their job and talk about it since you want to involve them, even if you already know the answer. You don't need to constantly finish their sentences.

Got a green Santa Cruz a year ago. Super happy with it. Perfect sized bed for what I need. Same gas mileage as the little Kia hatchback I had previously. Only two things I don’t like: if you put anything of moderate weight or more in the bed, the front of the vehicle effectively elevates, causing the headlights to shine right into the eyes of oncoming traffic. Going to see if putting in air shocks will fix this. Secondly, the rear seats are very hard and super uncomfortable. Going to get some kind of cushions for this. Definitely recommend this.

Great video, if your Santa Cruz comes with the Tonneau cover I would recommend removing it if you are going to haul mountain bikes, Gravel bikes, or road bikes. A dirt jumper and BMX will fit with the cover left in place. Once I took out my cover I am able to comfortably fit 5 mountain bikes in the back. My mtn bike is an XL Trek EX Fuel 9.8 with tire size of 29X2.6 and it fits great. For a tailgate pad I'm using one off Amazon and to date it has been flawless.

I like the accessories guy! I'm sure he'll be busy in the next few months - these little vehicles are going to be pretty popular...
What sort of ticks me off is that at the price for the Limited trim it should come with a receiver (2 inch I'd think) - that shouldn't even be a factory option - again this goes to show that they (Hyundai) really isn't positioning this as a "truck". I'm seeing lots of videos from dealers in the last couple of days where a SEL / SEL Premium is right off the transport with a factory receiver and the best explanation I've heard was that it was an option package (I think "Activity" Package). No where is there an "order guide" for these things - just the Hyundai website and even that has little info (I did find where you can download the owner's manual). I have a Limited reserved (due Sept. 6th) and there's no options or accessories that you can choose during the reservation. At $41k I'm going to be slightly pissed when I have to shell out another $150-300 for the Hyundai "Genuine" receiver and likely have to wait a couple weeks for it to come in (I'll install myself). I'm sort of second guessing my decision to sell/trade my 2018 F-150 XLT 5.0l for this thing (even though I'll net $10k by selling it this week - if I do).
I already have a 2" receiver, I already have just about everything this Sport Adventure Vehicle has with the exception of a sun roof, ventilated seats and the ability to park (easily) in my garage.

I’m wondering how you where able to get a date of order ? For a little more ground clearance without doing a lift, install 245/55/20 size tires instead of the 245/50/20 stock tires. Install more aggressive off-road tires. Super excited about the Santa Cruz! I put the reservation deposit down! MY BIG QUESTION----Dealers are listing the vehicle on their website at $10,000 dollars over the factory sticker price and the price on Hyundai's website. Does Hyundai allow this and are you encouraging the dealers to do this? Thanks

I really like this thing! My problem is that I haven't bought a new vehicle in many many years, so it's very hard for me to justify $40,000. Very hard to believe how much vehicles are now.

@@devinbender8428 It started with me looking at the little Bronco sport. I take care of and keep my vehicles for many years. (I still have my 86 Ford F350 crew cab dual rear wheel, and daily drive a '05 Mazda 6s.) The Mazda is getting a little tired, and the F350 is too big for a daily driver and hard on fuel. Anyway, as I started picking equipment and options for the Bronco sport, I found it only is capable of Towing 2000 to 2250 pounds. That's not enough to tow a small bass boat!
That's what started me looking at the Hyundai Santa Cruz. I knew the forward Maverick shares the same platform as the Bronco sport, so that wasn't going to cut it. ( Mavericks tow capacity is 2000 to 4000 lb with upgrades.) A ranger z518L with trailer, weighs nearly 3725 lbs dry. That's no fuel, no tackle, no equipment, nothing.
That's what brought me to the Santa Cruz. More horsepower and torque with optional engine. 5000 pound tow capacity. Also, comes with a 7-pin plug so you can install a brake controller. The Santa Cruz also weighs about 250 lb more than the Maverick. That little bit of extra weight helps when towing. I like the size of the vehicle. I really don't want to move up to a Colorado or Ranger. For me, the only Advantage they have a proper longitudinal engine and rear-wheel drive configuration period that matched with four-wheel drive option makes for a nice medium-sized tow vehicle. But now your getting into the $50,000 realm with them loaded.

@@jnicksnewstart loaded SC is well over $42,000
For that I can get a
Ford Ranger Supercrew 4x4 Lariat, with a cover, Max towing package, Leather seats, and ford 360.
Which has more torque, better MPG, more towing capacity. More leg room. Bigger bed. With only being 12” longer and 300lbs heavier.
If your towing 3725 dry, add 300lbs for gas, 100 for gear, 200 for coolers, 100 for stuff. That’s just under your 5000lb limit. Then your going to load your family in it? So now your towing AND payload is MAXED out, with a DCT and small brakes? Good luck with that.

Top-of-the-line Ford Ranger four-wheel drive is tapping fifty-grand. Like I said my comment, I own an 86 Ford Crew Cab. If I need any higher Towing I'll just drive that.Devin, I'm having a hard time choking the price of the Santa Cruz as well.

Don’t buy new ever, the appeal wears off after a few weeks and all you’ll think about is what you really could have done with 40 thousand dollars! Whenever I get bored of my current vehicles, I sell them and stay under 5k.. almost never lose any money and can switch up rides in a matter of days, all without dropping tens of thousands. Tons of cool vehicles for 5k and if your like me, you may enjoy searching and researching potential options.
