- Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka sing "Take Me or Leave Me" from RENT at Broadway Backwards 3 (February 4th, 2008).
I wish a longer version of this video existed online even more than you do, but sadly, this is all that's available.
Neil's entire face and body as he's hitting, "And if you give a daaayaayaamn!" and his subsequent, "Take me baby, or leave me."
I concur, especially the "take me, baby, or leave me" part!
This is just such a fantastic duet - so much energy and passion! I wish I could see it live! I wish I could see NPH live anywhere.

I'm glad my friend made me watch this movie all the way down...it's sad, but wow it is by far one of the best musicals I have ever seen. Neil and his bf kick ass on that song.
I loved NPH!! I started watching him on "Doogie Howser" when I was little, and now I watch him on "How I Met Your Mother." I've known for a long time that he's gay, but I had absolutely no idea that he could sing. And he's good! Never thought I'd see the day when the Maureen/Joanne roles would be flipped. While it's different, I kinda like it! ;-)
