Davide-Yashar Zannerini Actually Västerås Airport is in a city named just like the airport, 1h 30min from Stockholm by car. But yes you're right about Skavsta.
Wow I love this. So good to see the Queen of the skies preserved like this. The 747 will always be an amazing aircraft much better than the smaller jets that are replacing the giant of the skies. I would love to stay in this hotel.
This is exactly what I was looking for. The ability to get off a long flight, exit my aircraft, then spend a day on another aircraft that doesn't fly and board a 3rd Aircraft to continue my journey. PERFECT!!!!!
M E it’s so sad seeing these giant 747s being broken up. I hope some are preserved as we have no preserved 747s in the UK because once they are gone they are gone, as we come to the end of the jumbo jet era and return to the small jet era :( . Even if they just preserved the forward section with upper deck and cockpit in a museum that would be something to show our future generations that these amazing giants of the skies used to regularly fly into and out of British airports and they will be amazed that man built such a huge aircraft.
Great idea, think it could've been executed better keeping the 747 visuals all the way through. like the straight plasterboard walls of the walkway for example or the cockpit with orange hanging curtains just don't fit with the theme.
The seats under the cockpit where they showed a lounge, they should have made that into the presidential suite and styled it to look like the president's room on air force one
I AM SO EXITED ABOUT THIS VIDEO BECAUSE I WENT THERE A FEW YEARS AGO!!! The only reason i have been there is that are plane was delayed for 2 days because they needed to ship a new front wheel, so we went and visited this place.
This is a great idea and what better building could one get but an aircraft body, often have thought how the likes of 747 and DC 10 and other wide bodied aircraft could be turned into accommodation units , very impressive indeed, thanks for sharing with us.
These are the two things I took away from my stay: The elevator is incredibly slow. The location isn't very close to the airport. Other than that, it was a pretty cool experience. I probably wouldn't do it again though.
I stayed there two years ago and had a great time. Very nice people. The weekend I was there they had a 10 mile female Marathon in Stockholm. I never saw so many beautiful blondes in my life.
is that sleeping quarters inside the engines. I notice a door and stairs o them. or is it access to the plane. if so, you would be going through the wing to get inside the plane. This whole concept is a great novel idea too!
Where is this International Airport's Boeing 747-200 Jumbo Paseengers Jet Airplane Hotel is? I want to stay there. I just want to stay at an International Airport's Airplane Hotel for a long time.
Add this to the bucket list!
Aside from the ingenious use of space in this once-aircraft, the quality of craftsmanship is even more impressive!
Imagine doing this with an A380
GoldHogger damn
GoldHogger wait a few decades
The 747 is a longer plane than the a380
TheFpsLemon no it's not. A 747-400 is 71m long a A380 is 73m long. Also an airbus a380 is wider and has a full upstairs deck.
TheFpsLemon the 747-800 is longer than the A380 but the 747-400 is indeed a bit shorter
People are asking which airport?! Are they that stupid? He says Stockholm about 30 times...
David Loor what airport? jk
David Loor we literally only have 1 airport in STOCKHOLM
i never said how much. i was making a joke of asking SMH -.-
David Loor there is Bromma Airport and Arlanda Airport, this one's at Arlanda
Davide-Yashar Zannerini Actually Västerås Airport is in a city named just like the airport, 1h 30min from Stockholm by car. But yes you're right about Skavsta.
*50$ charge for overweight luggage prior to boarding the hotel*
*Gets asked to make luggage checked for a small loan of a million dollars*
LRCM Gaming yeah lol!!!!!
LRCM Gaming lol
This is just GREAT! REDUCE, REUSE, and RECYCLE! This guy ought to see if he can't get this everywhere!
Awesome hotel, i will for sure stay there il i visite Stockholm one day.
i want to stay there also.
If you go to Stockholm not for the blondes and for the city itself, but for this you are really stupid.
The last place I want to go after being crammed onto an airplane all day...is another airplane. But that's just me.
Well then I'm gonna be really stupid, my life I literally aircrafts, so I can't miss this
Great idea, well laid out, I'd love to stay in a 747
When I was there I wanted to go in it. It looks great!
Wow I love this. So good to see the Queen of the skies preserved like this. The 747 will always be an amazing aircraft much better than the smaller jets that are replacing the giant of the skies. I would love to stay in this hotel.
can't open a window decompression
Robert Asta lol
You couldn't be more creative than that. Way to go..Brilliant.
This is exactly what I was looking for. The ability to get off a long flight, exit my aircraft, then spend a day on another aircraft that doesn't fly and board a 3rd Aircraft to continue my journey. PERFECT!!!!!
Awesome! Fun business! Much success!
This is awesome, don't ever stop!
One word...WOW!
Now I should look for a scrapped plane instead of buying a house 😂
BossSK136 Benjapon genius
There is a scrapped plane sitting in tijuana, google air china flight 006.
Lol I read you can buy a retired 747-200 for $100k
With the value of aluminum scrap today, cheaper to build a new hotel
M E it’s so sad seeing these giant 747s being broken up. YEAH BUT WAY THEY DONT HAVE A BUMP IN THE TAIL..?
Kahurangi Binks leave.
Been there and had a coffee on the wing... Absolutely fantastic!
Wow what a wonderful idea.
4:05 lol how would you watch tv in your bed there 😂
they want u to manually swap the pillows to the other side, coz why not?
Maurits Veen iaa
The seats under the cockpit where they showed a lounge, they should have made that into the presidential suite and styled it to look like the president's room on air force one
Audi_ophile its not american
good job man i like this
I AM SO EXITED ABOUT THIS VIDEO BECAUSE I WENT THERE A FEW YEARS AGO!!! The only reason i have been there is that are plane was delayed for 2 days because they needed to ship a new front wheel, so we went and visited this place.
a380 would be cool
why everyone forgot the hero
Thanks for the creativity.
Though I waited for the part where you would show us what is behind the engines.
love the concept.
Should be every airport
Okay, added to my bucket list..
nice start idea
I want to go there, it looks boss. The 747 is also my favourite airliner
This is a great idea and what better building could one get but an aircraft body, often have thought how the likes of 747 and DC 10 and other wide bodied aircraft could be turned into accommodation units , very impressive indeed, thanks for sharing with us.
An Amazing and Magnetic Creation
Me likee!
This ain't low budget hotel hahahahaha
Wow, I saw this last week when I was in Stockholm, very curious about this. Looks awesome, would love to try it out on my next visit
These are the two things I took away from my stay: The elevator is incredibly slow. The location isn't very close to the airport. Other than that, it was a pretty cool experience. I probably wouldn't do it again though.
really great !!!
what??? that's amazing!!
I stayed there two years ago and had a great time. Very nice people. The weekend I was there they had a 10 mile female Marathon in Stockholm. I never saw so many beautiful blondes in my life.
Wow this is Amazing
I live in Stockholm!
How cool. Good luck to them, a popular idea.
wow great idea
Such a great idea!
Published on Apr 15, 2015 . are you still in business and going strong?
Anthony p hey that is my b day
Yes
If this thing flew it be definitely 1st class
Amazing...
outstanding!
Love this!!
Amazing
trop cool !! très bonne idée .
Go to Mojave, turn all planes there to hotels. This is an awesome idea! But is there free wifi?
X-Plane Aviation Yes there is, 4,5 /5 stars .. not without wifi !
Magnificent.👍✈
Very nice
Exelente idea y siempre soñe con comprar un avion pequeño y hacerlo casa pero creo que no sera posible en esta vida..
Crazy but a unique business venture ...
i would love to stay here if i will get a chance ever in my life
Does each room have its own HVAC controls? If someone is getting it on, does the plane shake?
Are the engines also hotel rooms or what is it behind the doors?
The only minus I could think of would be not being possible to open the windows, lol.
Never knew such places existed
What model 747 is this? I know it is DEFINITLEY NOT a 747-400, so it must be either a 747-200 OR a 747Sp.
that's unusual, what's next: a gymnasium inside a train?
Is this Airplane hotel have some sovernery to buy? such as Models Airplanes?
legend
Wow!
I think recycling aircraft into things like this is brilliant!!!!! I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the engine rooms!!!!!
"it's happened again" "what?" "My hotel has a flat tyre again"
smart idea !! this is how to recycle airplanes : restaurant , school , night club !!
Good
Security checks on boarding?
is that sleeping quarters inside the engines. I notice a door and stairs o them. or is it access to the plane. if so, you would be going through the wing to get inside the plane. This whole concept is a great novel idea too!
Was hoping they showed what is in the engines
I'd love to stay there for a night
*All the passangers & crew : WTF dude*
Where is located I would love to come and visit this place
You can sleep in the engine!? How Exciting!
Are the classes separeted (First, business and economy)?
Yeah...hot dinner sounds pretty awesome...can I order hot chick please...
It is Jumbo Stay at Stockholm Arlanda. I've stayed there before.
*Emergency slide deploys*
The slides have been removed, though the slide box is retained
What if this was a real airline but with more "up-to-date" planes like the 747-8 or 787-10?
How much for one day to live?
Cockpit is nice place.😃👍
I wanna stay at the cockpit suite so I can pretend to fly a plane
Tell this to the owner : ask them to install a FSX simulator in the cockpit !
I was thinking the same
What about bathrooms?
It needs an exterior restoration.
Its a really awesome hotel, i have slept there
When? If recently is the business going well?
Oh, no it was like 8 months ago.
id love to be in the engine pods xD
FirstClass.
It looks like the inside of a post apocalyptic bunker leftover from the cold war in the 80's
Where is this International Airport's Boeing 747-200 Jumbo Paseengers Jet Airplane Hotel is? I want to stay there. I just want to stay at an International Airport's Airplane Hotel for a long time.
interesting idea, although not as exciting as a real flying hotel which the A380 actually offers
I guess the first room in that hotel is the room for crews
If this was a real flying hotel it be something to fry on as it standing still on the ground its still very interesting idea
I WANT TO GO TO JUMBO STAY
You got me angry You took my idea..lol only joking around..This is fantastic great stay...💺🛬
so its a backpacker hostel then :)
At Teuge Airport in Netherlands there is a prop plane hotel.
