Kelsey my husband and I are a retired couple living in Florida. When we retired we decided to sell everything and become fulltime RV’ers. Everything we owned was in a 40 ft. RV. Then we bought a small 2 bedroom double wide home. All we have is what was in the RV and my goal is not to acquire anything we don’t absolutely need just because we have more room. You’d be surprised how little you need to have a wonderful life 😀
I don't know why, but it takes a lot for us to ask our husbands for help. We always feel the the housework is our responsibility. I know this isn't true for everyone, but it is for homemakers. Kelsey, I am happy that you were able to ask your husband for help. When we do such things together, it brings us closer!
Congratulations on decluttering your items!! It is very relaxing and releases stress to have less! What a pretty blue you used for your laundry room. It really does tie in so well with your island in your kitchen! I love the "fruits of the spirit" song! So cute!
I deeply respect your commitment to your priorities and the willingness to set some goals aside. You are a breath of fresh air and an inspiration. “Too much” (things, overcommitting, spending) can steal peace and disrupt our focus. Even “good things” might NOT be “good for us” at this time or ever.
I need a good purge in my home. My husband is reluctant though 🤣 I just do my own things. That is a nice color blue! Your baby with the ottoman cover 🤣 He is adorable. I enjoyed the video. It inspired me! Have a blessed rest of your week!
I’m new to your channel but I want to say that as a fellow Christian, I absolutely love your content and especially your reading of Galatians Chapter 5 😊 and I loved how you made melody 🎵 in your heart ❤️ for the Word of God. ☺️ You exhibit the Proverbs 31 Woman with your gentle and loving spirit which is ministry of itself. 😊 I want to encourage you to continue to help, lift, encourage, and support other women whether they’re babes in Christ or seasoned women like myself to strive to become all that God has called us to be for our families, friends, neighbors and community in Jesus name, Amen 🙏❤️
Thank you for your channel. I appreciate it and feel so encouraged. Your children are adorable and your such a sweet mommy ...God bless you all..Sherri-Payette Idaho
Re: decluttering -- I find it hard to get rid of things because these days it's hard to buy a good item again, things are less quality and some can't even be found anymore -- also I feel like I'm being frugal by saving things since then I don't have to buy them again in case I need something. I'm almost a border line hoarder in the name of practicality! I really need a mind reset - watching your video helps!
When my kids were young I would consider myself a minimalist, in relation to toys I would only let them dump one themed box at a time. We would not move on to a different set of toys until we packed away the first box.
I have decluttered toys so many times and yet I still feel like they are everywhere 🤪😅 My kids have been fighting over a couple toys lately too and I feel like I’m going to lose my mind especially since it’s happening while I’m in the middle of working or cooking. I too keep thinking about needing to do yet another sweep of the house from toys!
Kelsey ❤ I’ve been struggling as a mom and this video really helped me turn my day around. Quick question do you have a certain Bible plan that you enjoy or a certain way you read the Bible ? I have not read the Bible through and through and I could use some guidance!❤❤❤❤❤❤
if you haven't seen the youtube channel Heartdive with Kanoe, check it out. She does a one year reading plan that follows the Bible Recap. She reads the daily chapters and explains and discusses as she's goes.
My favorite Bible is the Ignatius Study Bible. They have the New Testament out now but are coming out with the Old and New soon stpaulcenter.com/bible/#:~:text=More%20than%20any%20other%20study,tradition%20of%20interpretation%20through%20the (not affiliated). It has AMAZING commentary and resources. Otherwise, the Ascension Press Bible is really good, too, and the Word on Fire Bible. I think all of them are linked in the description box. I would just find a letter in the NT or a Gospel and read the whole "book". Your Bible should show the Old Testament verses quoted, so you can always go to that verse in the OT to get the context of the verse at that time and how it's being used "currently" in the New Testament.
Kelsey, your website said that you have 4 children. my cousins consider 4 children to be the ideal size for a family. their own families growing up were 5 children and 6 children. they all wished that their families had been smaller, so they could have spent more time with their parents. our parents came from a family of 9 children. (catholic religion) 9 children is definitely too many in modern times! my own family growing up had 3 children. my mother has severe emotional problems due to neglect from her childhood. she goes to church multiple times every week, but no one will associate with her outside of church because she is very emotionally needy. she thinks a relationship is give-and-take where she gives 10% and the other person gives 90%. adults don’t enjoy that dynamic, so everyone cancels their plans with her! a home is not only about shelter, food, clothing and cleaning. it’s also about TIME spent with the children. it’s great that you understand that balance🌸
I'm pregnant with my 10th. Yes it's hard, but it was hard then too. The Bible says children are a blessing and the only one who is ever given permission to stop the process is the Lord. There is this thing called giving God your fertility and allowing Him to decide how many you have. Not the times, not your finances, not your housing, only Him. Trust Him more than you are. This is coming from a stay at home, homeschooling Mom, with a small house in a small town, with a small income, even though my husband works his tail off. Trust in Him!
@@BMosser-t8q My grandmother had 9 children. My mother as the 5th child has extremely bad social skills due to being neglected as a child. My brother killed himself by hanging because she was such a terrible mother. Is that God’s will to raise destructive children? My mother goes to Catholic church twice a week every week as her lifestyle, too. I hope you are a better mother than my grandmother was….. because she created generations of suffering.

Oooo that’s a good way of looking at things. 100% things are made cheaper and the quality is not even comparable.
@@faithfulacresfarmhouse So I guess it's a fine balance between too much unused clutter and frugality! Homemaking is not easy
Linda casa . Apesar de não entender uma única palavra amo seus vídeos. Que Maria santissima seja o seu exemplo .
Wonderful 🙏🏼✨💖

Yes, she is😊
Yep! Catholic Christian (all Catholics are Christian but not all Christians are Catholics).
Wine? 🍷
Yep! Lol goes great with budgeting 🤪
Where did you get the glass jars 9n your kitchen counter? Also are they air tight?
Walmart! Unfortunately, they are not. I did buy their airtight ones for powdered sugar and brown sugar, but the quality isn't great with those.
