Hey man, quick tip. To search for the trait that you needed on blue gear you don't need to go through all blue gear individually to check prices. You can click the filter button and change it to search for traits with the check box and filter it by blue rare items. It will then bring you all of them on 1 screen with cheapest at the top. Hope this helps :)
There are plenty of ways to get gear to trait your gear out besides the auction house. Like this morning for instance I was doing resistance contracts before work and opened the purple bag and got a hit chance purple weapon that I needed for my daggers. Free 100% upgrade chance. A lot of people are just complaining that it actually takes time and effort to min max their setup. Get over it.

I like having a goal to work towards and grinding for it. It feels so boring when you have nothing to work for. Not to mention all of this gear that people are spending real money on will become irrelevant when tier 2 gear comes out. So they’re literally just throwing money away

It only makes sense to do that when you already unlocked or upgraded a bunch of traits on your blue item. Most youtubers said you shouldn't waste your money on doing that and rather focus on getting the purple gear instead.
cause its a waste of ressources. you spend more growthstones making a purple lv7 30% than just feeding your +9 blue and getting the purple from lv6 to lv9
@@RealTaIk the level has nothing to do with the traits, traits on blue give blessing to the purple, and there are some blue pieces you can easily full trait like the guild weapons
one of the reasons i cant keep playing this MMO none of the systems are explained properly and all of them are so punishing is like they want you to fail so you pay to fix your mistakes
Besides min maxing it isn't a huge detremint to your progression. It's not like it completely throttles your progression if you misstep and even emplemented systems to try and make sure as little resources go to waste. Outside of maybe transferring where you can only transfer once to a gear

Korean MMOs have the absolute worst gearing. It's all tied to monetization. You get so deeply invested in upgrading a gear set it's impossible to pivot to another build. What's the point of a classless system where you can use any weapon when it would cost you hundreds of hours of grinding to swap weapons or hundreds of dollars of swiping for lucent to get skillbooks and upgrade stones?
Top tips. To unlock new trait you need the Exact same item with the new trait. To upgrade that trait it’s the same slot. Use the filter options on the AH to find cheaper versions of that trait. As if it’s a rare weapon the traits are likely much more expensive that some more common epics. Hope that helps.

So does anyone know why I can't transfer my blue cloak onto my purple cloak? I have the same setup as seen here. Purple cloak with lv7 ~38%. Level 9 blue cloak with maxed traits. The purple cloak does not appear in my transfer menu whatsoever. Why is this like this?
If you feed a level 9 blue to a 0 purple it will be like lvl 4 with half percent (not sure about the exact number here). So by upgrading purple to 7 and %33 above you save a lot of growthstones since every tier cost more growthstones as you upgrade.
That's great and all, but how tf do I even get lucent? It's basically tons of grinding, and rng on top of that. While some whale can just swipe, get all the lucent, and buy all the gear they want. Insane.
Grind dungeons for gear drops, trait extract the pieces you don't need but have good traits. If you get a purple that you don't need, you can make it into a lithograph and sometimes those sell for a lot of Lucent
Yeah people are still in the honeymoon phase they are having fun leveling and stuff until they hit the wall realizing they either have to spend money or they have to get lucky looting good gear to make lucent , unless they dont care getting clapped on pvp which is the biggest part of the game.

So, in order to make lucent, to sell anything, to then be able to buy anything from the AH, u gotta spend ornate coins for blue or purple ink, to make that empty Lithograph, to then extract the Item onto it. Correct? So u only get the ink with ornate coins?
nah you can also sell the traits for the gear as well, you can get tons of those stones from the contract coin shop as well. If you get a nice trait on a purple item they can sell for 500+ lucent
are you sure its 7 and 30 percent?, I saw a different guy say it was 6 and 30 percent, I dont want to try earlier and fail, but obviously being able to do it at 6 would save resources, thanks for the tips though
7.33 will save you more resources because that way it will be closer to the max out when you transfer. If you do it earlier at 6.33 or God forbid zero, you'll have further to go on the back end. Which is costly

Yep. Pretty much to unlock the 2nd and third traits, you have to EITHER have the EXACT same item or "trait extraction." Then you can upgrade the traits via lower tier items.

@@Pirannacon Yea. If you don't have any Lucent which means you didn't spend any real life money. Then you'd have to sell something on the auction house to get Lucent to buy off other players because that's the only way currently to get traits extractions to upgrade your gear. Otherwise, you have to grind the items yourself which is an arduous process.

im getting sick of games that punish you for not knowing what they didn't explain at all even once. I have to youtube so many thing. Even the weapon skills I maxed my character before I even noticed the long ass upgrade paths that uses the contract mission things. None of the systems are explained. What happened to playing a game and learning its mechanics? its no fun when it feels like a job.

Everyone told us that you should transfer blue gear into purple as soon as you get it, and no one said jack sh*t about needing to have traits on blue gear maxed out before doing that. But i can see how doing that would make things easier later on since items to upgrade purple gear are quite scarce. Problem is, buying traits if you are fully ftp gets a bit expensive and relying on grinding dungeons to get them is very random so it could take a long time to max out blues

You can't really fail. You can transfer progress on any skill or item to another if you decide you want to change gear/skills.

xfer system exists.... in books both gear and books.
At this rate, it is cheaper and easier to just get a new lv 50 character going and just use that for some other build

Putting the first trait onto an item has to be the same item trait, but the 2nd 3rd can be of a different type but of the same trait name obviously.

If you already transfered a blue piece into it you cannot do it again. That's what I think is happening there.

You should never use Extracts to upgrade Blues. You run so many dungeons you're going to get gear you can trait crunch.

Trait your blue gear, max upgrade it. And transfer it after upgrading purple on +7

No you can also buy them weekly from contract coin shop. Weekly limit is 50.
nah you can also sell the traits for the gear as well, you can get tons of those stones from the contract coin shop as well. If you get a nice trait on a purple item they can sell for 500+ lucent

10% usa 10% it doesn't matter how many times you try... if you want the 100% chance you have to use up the 450 blessings right away.

I made the math, its basically the same, 68 in avg from 0 to 7.33, 64 from 7.33 to 9

But i can see how doing that would make things easier later on since items to upgrade purple gear are quite scarce. Problem is, buying traits if you are fully ftp gets a bit expensive and relying on grinding dungeons to get them is very random so it could take a long time to max out blues

When I have to spend real money to play a free game, I'm out. I'd rather pay 60 bucks and progress normally. This overly complicated system is easy to make mistakes that will cost you many hours and dollars while their laughing all the way to the bank. It's a joke and your life is the punchline.
Obv you don't play the game LOL you can get free lucent by selling stuff you aquire from PLAYING....
clealry you swipe.. that will take forever for that .. i need a power spike way before that its ez to say when you swipe .. all my purps are at 6 its whatever i lvl up as soon as i get .. You didnt mention without swiping or grinding will take forever to find more blues.. in most cases U will have a blue from area you will never go to again after lvling ..
He's early access its a lot easier to make lucent in those early access servers
