- When I got this blaster, I didn't really see the point. It was a rather compact little revolver, but I just didn't understand why I would use this thing over any other option. Boy, did I make a mistake. With a little spring upgrade (not even an optimal one), this thing was shooting upwards of 120 FPS with a satisfying reload that makes it a very capable sidearm if you want something small and powerful with multiple shots. This is a game changer.

OC Nerf I have to agree. It helps me with my own process. I've been in the game for a few years now, but I've never really stepped out of repeating what I've seen others do. But seeing someone else go through a full process helps me feel better about my trials and failures.

My dearest Walcom, I opened my Blitzfire and found the snapfire stock spring is the same length but has a narrower diameter than the current stock spring. So I fit it inside the stock spring and now it hits like a truck. I am pleased

I have a couple of these, love em. I keep meaning to fiddle with them to find a way to combine this with a hammer shot to try and make a more slim hammer primed pistol.
You can use a zip tie to pre compress the spring when you’re installing it. One everything is in place, cut the zip tie and slide it out

You did? Looool, I just skipped that part. I love Walcom, but I've struggled with enough heavy spring fittings of my own tyvm xD
Also it was the mainspring, not the catch spring. Ikwym, I'm just not capable of letting it slide. Sorry :)
I can tell you I modded mine with a very beefy spring. I doubled it up with the original spring. Had to glue down the catch spring. After its now getting 90 FPS with full lengths and 110-120 with half lengths. It is now my standard sidearm in my wars. Note if you want to make this half lengths, you have to take out that loading tab.
Seeing Walcom struggle with springer internals is reassuring. I thought I was just bad lol

I modded the blitz fire today and it was my first mod, no videos no idea what I was doing but it takes apart so easily that it took me 20 minutes

It reminds me of when I threw a Tek 6 spring into a jolt, brassed it, and sent it to Chaylo. I got 104 FPS with half length buzzbee super darts (the bright green ones with the blue tips). I haven't tried yet, but I think I can get a Hammershot spring in a jolt, that will be fun...
When I first got one I immediately realized that is was a smaller, cheaper, and more powerful very of the Disruptor.

How well do you think this pistol would do with 3 darts at 1/3 length per chamber?

Would you have to replace the catch spring with the spring load?
Can I just use a stock Retaliator spring for the Blitzfire?

Im running the stock spring with a stock Retaliator spring and my blitzfire gained performance instead of decreasing, comparing it to a stock one it shoots quite a bit further and much much harder. Definitely might jump it to a 5 or 7 kg spring and see if I can make this go any higher
Well since it's a mod vid I figure I'll chuck this out. My Hammershot has a pretty slow return after trigger pull..about 1 and a half seconds before it gets to where it clicks and can cycle to the next chamber. Anyone know if that is the norm or any way to make it a little faster?

The hell I didn't do nothing to you the reason people like it so much is because you can prime it with one hand in any way you can get way much higher capacity cylinders than a strong arm like an eighth round cylinder

I'm not sure if you are right the hammershot hitting only 85fps with a 11kg spring. The blaster hits over 70 stock. I have a 10kg spring and that bitch hits over 100. I'm going to do this mod now and I will compare and let you know what I think. That is why you did a mod guide right? So people would try the mod?
Also not that I am this way but some people may not be 100% in love with top rear slide action. Man you stressed the shit out of that poor little blaster. Did you break it before you were done filming? You put a lot of tension on that thing plus the fps is all over the place went from 105 to 125 back to 106 to 115 and so on. Its not super reliable. Seemed like the most steady reading was 105. A lot of 105. And steady 115 for short darts. It is cool but not better or more powerful then any hammer shot. I get you were exited that you found this cool little mod but its not like the best thing ever. Seemed really really wimpy in the plastic which is going to fail very quickly. I know modded blasters will fail but this shit I just imagined you firing it in the video and it just exploding into a bunch of pieces and the spring you forced in there flying out and smack your forehead. Way janky and janky is cool and fun but reliable not usually. I give this combined score of video and finished product a solid 7.5/10

A hammer shot does not hit over 70 FPS stock. Your Chrony is broken if it says that. It barely hits high 50s stock.
what would be the best spring to put in this thing?
