I have done all the quests up and including dynasty mainQ (including the armor chain quests) and i only hit lvl55 upon handing in the dynasty mainQ, each and every time i knocked out faction quests along side my quest area's. i think 55 unlocked 1 quest in grove and 1 in shattered, the flow is so bad that at every level breakpoint (35-40-45-50 etc.) i ran out of quests before reaching those points, then i'd knock them out again and come up short before the next breakpoint, constantly out of quests and going on portal trains. I did townboard minimally (i think), i did grab wolf/sheep/goat/rabbit/turkey when i was going out on quests and i knew they would be near or encountered on the way there, also handed in potion and gathering quests when i had them. At the end of the day. Do what you enjoy and do what keeps you happy in the game.
on my server, there's only one settlement with tier4 wood shop. i had to walk there and back just to craft wyrdwood planks coz it's from a different faction and it costs a crap ton of azoth to fast travel.
Make your Inn there when you're doing a wood crafting day. Then you can load up on materials, chop wood until you're just under max weight and then recall to Inn.

Just a psa- you do not have to do the armaments quests, food quests, or fishing quests if you don't want to. I use those mats for crafting personally. Just accept the quest and immediately abandon it. Go do your thing, when you come back there will be new quests.
One of the things I learned is take the Territory XP gain perks when you see them, every time you get a new rank in a zone it gives XP and its really easy to get them fast when you do town board quests. The other perks are fine but the faster you get perks the better
you can't respec them though so you're hurting yourself in the long run. Better to go with things you'll always use like storage space, gathering speed, crafting cost, and tax reduction even if it does slightly slow down your leveling in the short term.

Once at 60, you get higher weapon xp from mobs at say level 20+. So being able to one shot them with higher level life staff will be far easier. So if you say use a simple tank hatchet and great axe combo, levelling will be easier through the quest line
I’m level 27 and just switched from the healer combo. I didn’t realise how difficult I was making it for myself until I switched to a melee tank set up 😂 try giving it a break from healing for a little. I know playing that role in team events is awesome but if it’s making you a little frustrated with the grind then maybe it’ll be worth your time (:
@@DerekRoddy8 Thanks. I've just gotten into tier 3 gear and that's making it somewhat easier, but I will also try a stronger melee build as others in my company have suggested the same.

No. Shield only works with sword equipped. If you have a shield equipped and you're not using sword it's literally just extra weight added to your equipment load out (as well as the cosmetic bonus of seeing the shield equipped). Best to just take it off if you're not actually using it.
I use hammer/ice gauntlet while soloing, but I am a tank and often swap to my sword. I keep my shield on anyway because I'm already heavy so I don't care abut the weight. Not sure why demone does it since he's not heavy.
Town board is pretty good . It's painful giving up 40 starmetal ingots tho. However since the game is capped at 60 its almost a waste of XP to not have all your crafting at 200 before you hit 60.
I actually farm hyssop as they give you all the secondary herbs you need like cinnamon, nutmeg, basil, sage, etc. They are used in various buff foods which average 18-30g each on my server.

Complete 3-4 quest, then log out. Nearing 40 now but in no hurry as I know theres no real end game. PvP game with PvE content thrown in to get more money. However, not to shit on your video man. Your videos are well informed and I enjoy watching them.

I've tried 6 different worlds with an alt character and they were all dominated by purple....Every streamer video I see seems to be in a server dominated by purple and every person I've talked to from different servers except maybe 1-2 so far have said their server is dominated by purple....also one person even said that purple owned every tile on their server.
I "wasted" 10ks of gold for leveling up furniting. I could have been lvl 60 via town boards days ago if I would have spent the gold there xD The thing in town board is NOT the raw XP of the quests. Its the are standing level ups which reward up to 5-6k at level 30 of area standing! So the most benefical way is to spread town boards across lets say 3 areas (the areas where you´ve got your house or your trade/crafting hub) and level the area standing perks for specific matter (lower house tax or lower trade/crafting taxes). This way you get TONS of XP and are already set up for the late game.
@@DerekRoddy8 The benefit of town boards quests are the XP you gain for the level up of the area standing level. If you spent all your points of the area standing level ups into "increased area standing" you will gain much more of these so for example you are at 25% increased area rep and you hand in a 500 rep quest it is 625 rep. This way instead of beeing level 35 after a given amount of finished town board quests you are 38 and you got 3 bonus level ups . You gain player XP for every level up in area standing and also got bonus points to spend. In higher levels this is like 5-6k for every level up so this would net you about 15-18k more XP in this example. If you have access to 4 town boards (3 houses + 1 inn) you can just teleport from board to board, get the quests, buy all the materials in everfall, teleport back to back to every town and repeat.
3-5 days of I assume played time, not actually 3-5 days in real life. Thats not that quick. Most mmo's were 3 days played time to max level. Most casual players won't hit 60 in 3-5 played days either. More like 8-10. The games more grindy than most mmo's especially starting at 40 it becomes grindy.
@@tjl8884 At MMO launch, its expected that top players will play near-24/7 for the first 3-5 days. Real-life time = game time. Also, just because "most mmo's" do something doesn't make it good. IMO, Any less than 400hrs for max level and and it just feels like a long tutorial. MMO games need to focus more on building a fun leveling process, not rushing to a mediocre 'end game'. NW's leveling "grind" beyond 30-40 just feels bad because there's no incentive to read quests, repetitive quests and town board activities are the only ways to get meaningful experience, and poor mob variety.

This way you get TONS of XP and are already set up for the late game.
Sorry I’m not following? I’m interested in what you’re saying but also a little confused
@@dancingbear1881 I see! Interesting. I’ll be sure to do this, thanks 😀
Leveling in this game is too quick. People making it to lvl60 from town board quests in 3-5 days? Sheeeesh!

1. get a cheeseburger from mcdonalds

lmfao that pokemon reference tho
After reaching level 60 then do you go back and do all the quests to get cards? Or do you get cards from Town Boards?
At 60 you go farm elite areas for gear score, killing mobs and bosses will get you cards pretty fast
