- I have questions tossing out there.
As I learn more, I am hoping to do some videos passing along the research and education and experience I get in these vintage pieces.
But I am excited to say I have acquired some original 1950's Vintage Corning ware, bot the blue corn flower design..and the 70's version of L'echalote Which is going viral right now!!! Its a HOT! Item...
I would love to hear those who have experience in these items...

Good morning. A coula things I sell a piece of Corning Ware and list the price as $2000.00. Then I note "Or Best Offer".. Now I will get a top offer for the piece. No one's going to offer $2 for a piece listed at $3000. Go to the "sold" section and you'll see that no one is getting thousands, or even hundreds for their stuff. The two pieces that you show are basically 8" dishes. With lids I list them at $15.95 plus shipping unless they're a rare pattern.
Another note: the small handles are older than the wide handles. Also "A-1-P" is older than A-1-B
Feel free to call with any other questions.
Good show!
That's generally what i am seeing the actual price it's going for i habe sold a bunch in the $15-$35 range...but thats a long sale..doesnt necessarily jump off the shelves because there is so much out there
Thank you for the info..will look out for the A-1-P
Love your vid. I just separated all mine and have all the SAME QUESTIONS!
I'm thinking the numbers are for the proper lid. My lids have those numbers.
One idea that I’ve heard is that the reason for the crazy prices are because people are actually selling illegal substances or items by posting bogus listings that are not really for the dishes. Basically they are laundering money through eBay with the cover of a legitimate sell to someone who wouldn’t know that it’s not real. Perhaps someone such as a law enforcement officer of some sort which definitely works because a lot of people who collect and use them are not able to due to the limited available info.
Lines on cover are probably from the mold.
I was cleaning up a thrifted piece of Spice of Life Corning Ware this evening and noticed the little number 7. As I was continuing to scrub little stains off, I saw the number change to an 8. I thought I was losing my mind, but then I realized the 7 was on one side of the dish and the 8 was on the other side. Neither number is there now, because Bar Keepers Friend scrubbed it right off. Oops!
Did you find out what the little number stands for
Not yet..but each piece i come across has that tiny number
The little number may be the mold number
I am thinking you may be right..that makes sense. But i dont know the definitive answer
And which lid goes to which bowl??
I have the Persia la sauce however I watched your video snd I’m confused. Mine has no markings whatsoever. What’s up with this?
Barbara- Check underneate the handles which may have etched numbers- Otherwise the marking could have been scrubbed off and worn down
