This was the first movie YHS for myself for $5(used I think). And it's soundtrack was the first the first cassette I bought for myself.

15:44 this scene was actually part of a longer thread. The Ghostbusters actually had a call at an old revolutionary fort and Ray (Dan Akroyd) had taken the General’s jacket. That’s what he is wearing in this scene. The General’s lover then visits him because of the coat. The remainder of the scene was cut from the movie which leaves this scene awkwardly remaining. Fun fact, the woman playing the ghost was/is Dan Alroyd’s wife.

Bill Murray *Dr. Peter Venkman* comes out in Groundhog Day, pretty good movie and Harold Ramis *Egan* directed that movie.

Absolutely love Groundhog Day! Maybe we can shoot for another Harold Ramis movie, we haven't seen Stripes.

Napoleon Dynamite, it's from 2004, but weirdly-enough, it has an '80s feel to it. It's quirky, but good.

Bill Murray was okay with filming until the slime scene, then he started to regret getting involved, which is why he doesn't have much marshmallow stuff on him at the end of the film. Even for the sequel they had to convince him to come back, and he specifically had it in his contract to not get slimed. He's apparently not someone that wants to do stunts or get messy, just act and get paid, since he doesn't really like the notoriety either.
Originally John Candy was to play the part that Rick Moranis played. After various tries, including using a German accent, John Candy let Akroyd know that the part wasn't for him, and that he just couldn't imagine how to play the role. He then suggested they try Rick Moranis, which Candy knew from SCTV, a Canadian SNL style comedy show. This is one of those films that somehow came together perfectly and became a success, even though it had early difficulties.

Well, that was a whole lot of blabbing over the film and very little watching and actual reacting to it. I know you're new at this and trying it out, but that's why legitimate criticism is valuable to you, so you can provide a superior product and recruit more subscribers. Some RUclips reactors think "reacting" means constantly talking. Wrong! It means WATCHING the movie and REACTING to it. Doesn't mean you can never talk. It means when you do talk, you don't talk over the film for a lengthy time and miss half of it, and it means speaking ABOUT the movie, not about what memories it brings up so you reminisce over your life experiences.
If you really feel like you have to comment at length on something, you pause the movie while you do it. But do that sparingly, otherwise it gets real tedious.
I know I come off blunt and rude and maybe even trollish, but that's not my purpose. I want you to do well. And I think you have the potential to. Certainly your first several choices in what to react to have been good: classic movies instead of a constant barrage of Marvel and DC and new Star Wars garbage coming out today.
Why should you listen to me? Because I'm subscribed to over a hundred reaction channels and watch them every day because I have no life. So I feel like I've developed a pretty good idea of what constitutes a quality reaction channel. And as I said before, I want you to succeed so I can add another good reaction channel to my subscriptions.

Thanks for your feedback, this was our first reaction filmed back in 2020 so we were still figuring things out. I highly recommend you check out our reactions to Fargo and Hacksaw Ridge, I guarantee you will have none of these issues and the views and positive reception to those videos reflect that. Steer clear of our Saving Private Ryan reaction though, that one will piss you off LOL.

None of these guys are SNL related? Lol. Dan Ackroyd was an original cast member. Bill Murray and Eugene Levy came on SNL just a few years after. They all worked together. I could tell you guys ,especially you're wife weren't feeling this. To bad. Try Alien and Aliens.

I honestly can't remember any SNL sketches with Bill Murray in them but I definitely should have remembered Coneheads, and I thought Levy was an SCTV guy. Anyway, thanks for watching, we have tons more on the way, tons of other classics we've missed somehow.

Levy was SCTV, also Eugene Levy wasn’t in Ghostbusters. Egon was played by the late Harold Ramis. Ramis directed the movie Caddyshack which came out in 1980.

The original cartoon was very popular, came out before the second Ghostbusters movie. My sister and I use to watch it. Some firm was hired to make suggestions that the people making the cartoon hated, but the people in charge forced those changes and the show didn't do so well.

Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi and.l Chevy Chase we’re all original SNL cast members. This movie however is the brain child of Dan Aykroyd and Sharon’s Ramos aver Dan read an article on the supernatural and quantum physics in a magazine.
