The show should have been called Yang’s Anatomy. Meredith was a great character and protagonist in the earlier seasons but Yang was a unique and memorable character till her last appearance on the show.

At the beginning, Cristina was so mean to Lexie, but it was because she's "the step sister" of Meredith, it's in her bone to hate on people who hurt Meredith. But as she get to know her, not only Lexie was not the typical "step-sister", she's amazing at her work, which somehow break down Cristina wall. If Lexie still alive, i think Cristina would've treasure her as much as she treasure Mer. 😭

I think it's named "Grey's Anatomy" after a well-known medical book that is major medical reference point. They made the main character's name go in line with it, not the other way around.
