Quick question about something you said in the video. In my own experience it takes quite a few more passes to sharpen DLC coated blades because they are harder. Definitely agree you can sharpen less often but the blades can’t be harder steel and then also take less effort to sharpen. Can you explain that better, thanks

Hey Hockey Tutorial fam, I tried going to your store link in the description but it seems to be broke. Love your stuff! Long-time "like + subscriber" here. Keep up the good work, thank you.

That TITAN hat is so fresh! Reminds me of going into the shop as a kid, and seeing a line of those sticks.

A bender like me showing up with flashy steel is just asking for a beat down in beer league😂

I went for the 24k gold but because of my size and blade style it was going to take 6 weeks... went dlc instead and Jeff had them out west to me in 3 days. They have felt pretty good so far but if you get them make sure you double check 1st time they are sharpened as it takes a little more to get them going.

I've used em all. Step black is by far the highest quality steel with the best coating. I had some Tydan gold steel that was high polished and it was awful, probably why they discontinued it. That being said LS5 carbon is my personal favorite. Wish I could find some more.

I love my Step Blacksteel. Holds an edge twice as long as my normal steel.

Hey man, I recently started skating and at my skate shop in London… he recommended me a pair of Vapours 2.5X (size 8.5 for the skates but usually a 10.5) which I bought and now using.. do you think this was a good choice for entry level?
I’m skating around 3 hours a week and making good progress… I’m about 7 hours in and can almost do a hockey stop..
I’m 6ft 1, weigh about 13 stones athletic build but have a narrow high rise foot.. What boots would you recommend for someone like me? I already feel like I need a new one…
