Yassssss Robert..... another great video as usual. Yes the Intercourse joke was hilarious but still tasteful 🤣 this channel has really been a ray of Sunshine during this pandemic
I live in Lancaster and it has interesting town names. The running joke is that you have to go thru Intercourse to get to Paradise to avoid Blue Ball. They are all small towns in Lancaster.
I watch often. When I do I wave goodbye to my husband and he says where ya going then I reply: I am going to ride with Robert you are boring. He smiles and waves goodbye. Thanks for sharing helping me get through this pandemic.
The building to the right of the monument at 9:09 is the former Watt & Shand department store. It was incorporated into the Marriott in the redevelopment of that block.
My son used to live near Hershey and Quakertown, PA. In the Fall they would crank up the factories producing holiday candy and the air would be absolutely filled with the intense smell of chocolate.
Edward Kantor ( Pennsylvania ) Robert I just enjoyed your video it is in my back yard. I'm from south west PA. Been to all the places you have visited. Pennsylvania is a beautiful State and I have lived here all my life. Never get tired of it.
@@paulob5153 Thank You! You simply must come back and visit us again in Michigan some time. We have a Hell and a Christmas waiting for you and many other cool places as well... but no Intercourse (officially).
Great video again Robert. Beautiful part of the country. It`s definitely on My Bucket List. It was nice to see The Irish Flag flying outside the buildings in Gettysburg and again in Leesburg. There may be a big Irish community in that part of the state. Stay Safe.....
Hi Robert, I lived in Pennsylvania all my life. I really need to do more exploring. I really enjoy your travels. The PA turnpike commission is a corrupt organization that needs an investigation done to get rid of the crooks. Tolls have been going up every year. Disgusting. Thanks for the great channel.
New Hampshire and Vermont still have covered Bridges. Western Massachusetts might have a few left too. The Norman Rockwell museum is in Stockbridge Massachusetts
Thank you Robert, I am so honored that you would add me into this section of your travels. I have to say, That I had an awesome time with you in Hershey. Your work is something that one day I hope to achieve.. Two thumbs up my friend...
Hello Robert, still looking at your fantastic videos, this episode in Lancaster reminds me of New Hope , PA. Beautiful town, I loved it at Christmas time although I have not been there since 1975, but I hear it is still very nice to visit, maybe your next trip? Look it up - happy travels 😊
Gettysburg, Pa. was one of my favorite places. I loved the changes that have taken place over the years, & was elated to see they still had the 360° Muriel. That was almost 50 years ago. I went on a field trip in 8th grade to Meyersdale Maple Festival for breakfast, then to Gettysburg the rest of the day. Thanks for bringing back the memories. Did you get to tour the chocolate factory in Hershey? I loved that too! My DECA conference was held there in one of the hotels by a pond. Wonderful weekend with my 11th grade year. I won with my manuscript.
Hi Robert, I lived in New Jersey before moving to Florida. Spent time in Pennsylvania but never made it to Gettysburg. Thanks for stopping in for the tour. I am into the Cival war . We went into Pennsylvania a lot up in the mountains. 🌄🏞🏕
Beautiful countryside and we just love listening to you. You give us a great overview of the areas you stop in and give us a chuckle too! By the way it's never to early for a beer🤣🤣
I really like this! Someone else on another channel suggested following you, and I’m glad they did! I’m a tutor and will be doing remote tutoring when I finally get out on the road on 10/01/21! I hope to do some virtual field trips for my students from historical sites.
Hello Traveling Robert! $30.33...OUCH😄😄😄😄! OUCH😄😄😄😄! Robert, I know how you feel about those ridiculous tolls as I paid the same cost from Pittsburgh area to Harrisburg. I wish I had known about RV show as I would have made the trip to meet you. I have been to every corner of PA and have been to Gettysburg, Hershey, and Harper's Ferry all beautiful areas. I especially love Harper's Ferry and I'm sure you walked the pedestrian bridge( part of the Appalachian Trail ) across the Potomac and into Maryland by foot, and when you walk down those steps you are not only in Maryland but you are also at the C&O National Historical Park and can walk along the old canal, SPECTACULAR! Such a beautiful spot with so much history. Great video Robert! Looking forward to seeing the footage at Harper's Ferry.
I enjoyed the video. I had lunch at Millers when I visited with my family in 2018 We also visited Gettysburg was only able to stop at the visitor's center. I visited with my family Gettysburg one other time when I was younger at the time there was a tower that you could take an elevator to the top and view the battlefield. Also went to Shenandoah National Park in 2018
Very funny watching you drive around Lancaster County. Lived in Lancaster for 20+ yrs. When you were driving around Lancaster city you even drove past my old house. Glad you passed right through Intercourse, PA and didn’t get caught in Bird In Hand, PA......haha
Gettysburg ....the whole battlefield is a cemetery....it was very emotional for us when we walked around. And You should check out Harpers Ferry, another great battlefield.
I'll be so glad when at some point you can slow down some and spend more time in places instead of always being in such a hurry to get someplace else. Ether way I still love all your videos!
This was AWESOME! I was scheduled to be in Harrisburg for work on 13 July. But there is no flying between the UK and US at the moment. And I was going to make time to see Lancaster etc. at te end of the trip, so now I'll definitely go, once the visit has been rescheduled. Thank you so much for an excellent vlog - really enjoyed it!
the sights and sounds you bring makes us happy. Pa another great state. My father is from Allentown. Also you were close to Adamstown known as antique capitol of the world. They have good food (german) at black angus resturant and brewery next door. thanks Robert for a great video.
Great seeing you enjoy the hospitality of our area here in Pa, if you ever get back there’s another great buffet for you to try in the ephrata area called “shady maple”, as well as several breweries.
Those houses in Lancaster might be Row houses in the early 1900s manufacturing in the northeast was booming and huge mills would even build them for the workers to rent. They are all over New England too.
Great review. Doing some research on Florida's memorial at Gettysburg, it was dedicated exactly 100 years after the battle on July 3, 1963. During the time of the commemoration, the dedication took into account the irony of the fact that they were commemorating the participation of a confederate state fighting on the side of the justification of slavery during the time of the Civil Rights movement. The speech that was given at the commemoration by Congressman Sam Gibbons who was a WWII veteran took into account the past's wrongs, abhorring the current use of terrible police tactics on minorities and the commitment to continuing progress in the future.
If you like a nice hike Robert go check out bushkill fall it has 1200 and some-odd stairs had a lot of beautiful scenery about nine different waterfalls
Hi Robert, many thanks for sharing yet another superb video here which I thoroughly enjoyed watching as usual.A welcome distraction surely in those hard times with that coronavirus threat still hovering above our heads.Actually we are on a downward curve here for now but the youngsters seem to get tired of those restrictions imposed by the government and so they are beginning to ignore them,(which according to the experts may well lead to a second outbreak here soon if that kind of behaviour continues);Stay safe out there buddy and just keep the ball rolling,ok?Your efforts are greatly appreciated as you know. Best wishes and cordial greetings from William across the Big Pond..
Another really interesting video. Too bad a lot of those monuments will have to be taken down as they are just so offensive lol! The town of Intercourse seems interesting! It's a happening town as you said! Looking forward to the rest of your trip!
Yeah buddy! Good one. Have always wanted to visit Gettysburg and the battle field. Great travel vLog through this area but, we (all of us Pelican heads) I'm sure are not ready for this summer trip 2019 to end even though it's getting closer.
I graduated from Elizabethtown Area high school and live in the southern end of the county now. I have Amish neighbors. You drove past the oldest farmers market in the country right off the square in Lancaster! You saw Intercourse but you missed Blue Ball and Paradise! 😂
you need to get back to Gettysburg, lots of good places to eat,Dobbin House, Inn at Herr Ridge to name a few. nice walking around the downtown area, with many great shops. ghost tour is good, other tours are really great and the history including the aftermath of the battle. one of our favorite places to visit.
I’ve never been to that part of the country, and now I have to add it to my bucket list. In fact, almost everywhere you travel ends up on my bucket list. When will I find the time?! Great job with the editing, as always. Love your music. Very talented. Thanks, Robert!
Happy Sunday Robert! I really enjoyed re-visiting Gettysburg with you. The cyclorama is really impressive, but I really liked the low-tech Electric Map, which was removed by the Park Service in 2007. It was moved to Hanover and restored, but sadly got closed down again. ps: sorry to hear about your drone. Is there such a thing as "lost drone insurance"?
Yeah we made it to Pennsylvania and we visited the capitol. Yes! I don't know if you visited to the capitol of Virginia Richmond. Oh well, always some other day right? Lol.
Really love your travels Robert Next time you get to Ohio, try Homes County. If you like Amish, you will find a lot of them there. I can't tell you how many times I have been there. There is a place called Millers (if its still open) that served a lot of good foods.
Very good narrative. You do a good job of sticking to the sights and keeping away from controversial topics.
Love Gettysburg but if you like the Civil War info and cool 😎 stuff to see you MUST come see Fredericksburg, Virginia!
Gettysburg is amazing. My first trip there was in 1958.
Even Robert couldn’t pass on an Intercourse reference.
Been looking forward to you all week!
He was done in less than 3 minutes!
It's so GREAT to see your travels Robert and you add a professional touch that makes you a leader. Best wishes and good health to you.
Gettysburg is definitely on my TO GO list. Thanks for the tour, safe travels.
An overview is good because it give people an idea of what a place is like so they can decide if they want to visit
A very long journey, indeed! Beautiful photography. Thank you! 😉🇨🇦
I love going on your travels with you, especially now when we can’t actually go anywhere! Thanks, Rob.👍
Me, too! I just discovered his You Tube channel
Robert, you're videos are getting us through the pandemic! We've spent hours watching. Thank you for all you do
I watch often. When I do I wave goodbye to my husband and he says where ya going then I reply: I am going to ride with Robert you are boring. He smiles and waves goodbye. Thanks for sharing helping me get through this pandemic.
Skyline drive is absolutely beautiful in the fall 🍁
That brewery and vineyard is an amazing place. One of the last places I visited before my move to Japan.
To avoid the turnpike interstate 80 to 15 south nice River road drive straight to Harrisburg
The building to the right of the monument at 9:09 is the former Watt & Shand department store. It was incorporated into the Marriott in the redevelopment of that block.
Thanks for showing Gettysburg great video as always . Those of us who can't travel we thank you for bringing the places into our homes. 😊
Lol. Lost in Lancaster. Been there done that.
Gettysburg is an amazing place to visit. So much history. We bought a CD and did a self guided tour. ❤
My son used to live near Hershey and Quakertown, PA. In the Fall they would crank up the factories producing holiday candy and the air would be absolutely filled with the intense smell of chocolate.
its is nice to watch your travel again don robert thank you keep safe
Yeah Robert, another awesome video ... we continue to inspire ... 😊
You drove right by my sons Tattoo and Art Studio in Gettysburg and we saw it in your video! Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Wow. Thank you for the tour. Wonderful. Especially the Gettysburg
Edward Kantor ( Pennsylvania ) Robert I just enjoyed your video it is in my back yard. I'm from south west PA. Been to all the places you have visited. Pennsylvania is a beautiful State and I have lived here all my life. Never get tired of it.
The famous town of Intercourse... just down the street from Blue Ball.
Well that explains that
@@paulob5153 Thank You! You simply must come back and visit us again in Michigan some time. We have a Hell and a Christmas waiting for you and many other cool places as well... but no Intercourse (officially).
Don't forget Paradise.
@@tacotone Was gonna mention a few other towns but thought it might be a little overdone. Thanks.
Live your travels and your accent.❣️ You are a joy to follow.👍🤓😊

I was in Gettysburg on President's day 2020. It's a humbling place. There was definitely a reverence there.
Mark D I avoid going through PA when we travel East from Michigan because of the outrageous tolls.
Lol they are all corrupt rt 81 will sneak you past a lot of that nastiest coming into New England
New Hampshire and Vermont still have covered Bridges. Western Massachusetts might have a few left too. The Norman Rockwell museum is in Stockbridge Massachusetts
Very historical and interesting places what you showed us. Thank you 😊

Such an interesting part of this great country Robert. Thanks for sharing. Safe Travels
You really scared us, the car on front of you at the beginning of the video. We thought was our car. Lol🤣👍❤️
Thank you for sharing your experience in PA! I loved it! 🙋🏻♀️
