How did the burlap and straw work for winterizing your newest Eden roses?

Hi Victoria, It did not work, they froze all the way down, however they are 1st year plants, I'm hoping once they are more established they will be tougher. They have come back beautifully. This fall I plan on mulching them high. 🤞

How do you keep the light green ground cover (?) from spreading all over by the roses? Just keep trimming it? Thanks

Hi Debbie, the ground cover is Lemon Coral Sedum, I had to trim it one time late in the season to tidy it up. It did reach the roses but it stayed low so I let it be. Thanks for watching and happy gardening🌺

Does Eden rose have 7 leaves? I am wondering if one shoot is sucker or not?

Hi there, I'm not sure. I know the Heirloom roses are grown on their own roots, so I don't think they produce suckers, but I'm, just guessing, I really don't know the answer. 💕
