The Bf 110 C-6 was recently added as an Operation Heat reward. As you would assume the 30mm Mk 101 cannon is very effective in Ground Forces but I personally wanted to see what it could do in the air with it's 60 cannon rounds and 4 machine guns. This thing gets the Bo Seal of approval in Air RB.

Flying a plane that historically was considered pretty much a free score for Spitfire pilots and winning dogfights against multiple Spitfires...that's Bo :P.
It's the pilots...I am seripus when I see Bo and Phly plays, most of the time they face idiots. Yet, when I play, I face aces who know how to use their planes/tanks effectively.
even a good pilot can be made to look like an idiot by a better pilot or proper team work
Actually, the BF110 had a better kill ratio in the Battle of Britain than the BF109

Kind of, I guess it is more that grund battles give more time for silly antics. In air things go wrong so much faster and I have definitely seen older videos where they try to land on top of each other and other general Bolishness.
I also suppose they are not here to make life miserable for their team mates, so the silly antics have to wait for when the situation allows it (and sometimes you actually will drive off a cliff accidentally and need rescuing, regard less of skill).
We also have the end of the video when they put out Stickboys smoke with fire.
@@57thorns This is true, but that's after the battle is over haha. They won't hesitate to ram one-another off a cliff in Ground Forces if they're given the opportunity lol.
The blue crayons are the best tasting.
It also depends quite a bit on who's flying with Bo. Loli and Stickboi are actually experienced at air RB, whereas Sturmling and Lizard are, well, not, bless their hearts. I refer to that MB-174 video when Sturms turns off his plane engine as a dazzling evasive maneuver.
It also must be said that skilful Air RB kind of makes for naturally more compelling viewing material than Ground Forces so it ends up being kinda natural that Bo chooses more skilful plays for his air vids. It also spices things up.

Trying flying the duck, i've had 3 kill games where every kill has just been spitfire diving on me and going head on, meeting the 30mm and the 20s coming the other way
WingCommanderBob Ohh yes I like the duck but I think I only got a 3 kill game once in it, most of my games are head on I win but I have to usually limp back with a broken engine.

It was a fundamentally confused plane. It was supposed to be a long-range fighter with roles including escorting german bombers, but it couldn't actually hope to engage single-engine fighters and survive (once enemy pilots had learned to exploit its weaknesses, anyway) so it ended up needing escorts of its own. The whole thing was a huge embarrassment to Göring (it was his favorite plane and got _all_ the attention) until it eventually found its niche later on in the war as an interceptor (heavy bombers were among the few things in the air that couldn't just outturn a 110, and the heavy firepower was very appreciated in that role), night fighter and ground attack plane.
The whole "heavy fighter" concept was pretty much flawed from the start, and most nations' airforces learned that the hard way in WW2. Almost all of them eventually got moved into other roles, the one exception being the P-38, the lightest of the heavy fighters.

Loli, there's a trick for hard names that we've got a problem to prenounce. That trick teached me turkish writer in her book.
When we've got problem with hard or long names to prenounce, simply just cut it on parts and slowly approach to prenounce it. Panzerbefehlswagen - Panzer befels wagen. Then slowly faster and faster and you'll catch it!
I am doing that with hard long english words. Still hard to master english, even after 12 years of learning it.

This gives me flashbacks to an old turn based game called "Over the Reich". Playing as the RAF I really dreaded the BF 110 and it's 30mm.

We didn’t publish the game all _that_ long ago. I’m one of the original developer/play testers for Over the Reich and the other 3 games (Achtung Spitfire, Whistling Death and Wings of the Motherland) in the FIGHTING WINGS series. Plus if you’re still interested, a new edition of OTR is scheduled to be released by the end of this year. Probably. 😄

Anyway, cool hearing that there might be a new release.
It’s coming for certain with more planes, new maps and scenarios. Clash of Arms (the publisher) has already committed to that part. It’s just a question of late ‘21 or mid-late ‘22.

Ah yes, the Bf 110 my old friend, I decimated entire teams with that thing, it could also stand some punishment sometimes returning to base with half a wing, 1 engine and half my tail.

The 110 may have not been the most successful heavy fighter of WWII, even though it transformed into an excellent nightfighter and ground attacker during the war, but it's by far the most beautiful plane of the entire Luftwaffe if you ask me.
My favourite is any 110 but will play r6 ( not forcing ) because that's the reason I found your channel

This is one of the rewards for operation HEAT, you can find all the information inn the achievements tab. You can get there by clicking on you name on the hangar (the pre-battle vehicle selection screen)

Might seem a silly question, but are you going to upload videos on the two ships as well, Bo? Or aren't you too interested in the naval forces?
Good naval content has previously been hard to get. While that's not to say he won't do a video on it, spending multiple hours trying to get that content might take him away from other videos and streaming so the likelihood is probably low or at least not that soon.
The Naval stuff has honestly just kinda bombed in views/interest on the channel. It's tough for me to warrant the precious time I have to record for something I don't play much.
