It has been several years since I have taken out this aircraft and it seems as good or better then I recall. Those upgraded cannons/ammo make the world of difference over the E-3.

Luftwaffe is nothing more than a german word for "airforce". Even today the german airforce is called "Luftwaffe" meaning "Air arms/ weaponry" and the austrian airforce is called "Luftstreitkräfte" mein "Air battle units"

Brecken Helsley well they had a service ceiling of 35,000 feet. The F4F-3 has a good initial rate of climb, and an average climb throughout. If the FM-2 Wildcat is added, that thing will be able to climb with the early spitfires easily at low altitudes.

Brecken Helsley oh gotcha, yea it’s a shame. It’s a great plane in the right hands. People highly underestimate high maneuverable it is and 4 .50 cals with 1800 rounds don’t lie😂
If you get her high, the Wildcat is still a decent BnZ. But turnfighting is such a drag against German efficiency and Japanese honor...
They are pretty good booming and zooming, but are still good at low level shenanigans.

I love how Hartmann was pretty much only ever 'shot down' because he would get too close before firing and his plane would be hit by pieces of his opponents plane that broke off after he fired his guns.

If Bo was my client I'd argue that his cannon and machine gun fire that coincidentally preceded the IL2 crash into the Plaintif's property did not necessarily cause said crash to occur. IL2s fly into the ground so often naturally. This was just a case of faulty aerodynamic design combined with ill-advised low altitude maneuvers.

WTF... i crewed back my BF-109E4 2 hours ago to play this balanced plane again because i rushed for the G2 series when i started the game for the first time and thus never played it enough. I searched for some videos about this plane, almost all of them were one or two years old which kinda sucked, the FM has probably changed a lot and now Bo releases a video about this plane? Damn what a coincidence. I guess it's one of those days.
E4 has always been an above average plane compared to its opponents

@@NoNameAtAll2 I know but many people like this plane when it comes to performance and BR, im not yet good with the BF and i feel that i must master this plane to understand how BF's should be piloted.
@@Shadowhunterbg Hum, if you want to "master" the Bf 109 (I guess you mean the G2 and F series that you rushed) then you will not learn a lot from this plane. The E series is more maneuverable and slower than the other Bf 109s. And thus, you don't really play it like the other Bf 109s.

So you were the one who shot at me ;) I was actually able to save myself mostly by using flaps and almost getting back to base using the flaps. However I crashed on final which is why you didn't get the kill for me.

I like the BF 109
I've always liked the E series. I got the talisman for the E-1 out of a random box, so I love flying her every once in a while. If you get a match with lucky BR in your favor, you can absolutely annihilate anything you see, even without those fancy cannons. I haven't played the E-3 or E-4 in a while, since I'm on to the later models, but it's a beautiful plane. The German line has me hooked like nothing else, you know they make the good shit.

Scaring the enemy into a tree - at one time Douglas Bader used to record German aircraft as "frightened" and "badly frightened" in his logbook; then one day he missed a Bf 109 that should have been a sitting target and returned to base without firing a shot, to receive congratulations for his shooting. Then he learned that the pilot of the Bf 109 had bailed out when he was at 400 yards. Bader filed a claim for a kill as "Frightened - confirmed by two other pilots."

E3 and E4 are my favorite planes in WT .. closely followed by Ki-43 … light manouverable , enough fire power and good roll rate to get out of sticky situations .. best way to win games and stay alive is to not get hit =)

Necro I know, but sturmling seems to have the accent of someone who used to live in the southern USA and moved north, or lives just south of the Mason dixon line.
If bo was a real pilot the mechanics would hate him for burning down his engines every flight.
250 coolant temp is near melt down for an engine and anything over 220 for oil causes viscosity break down.
