Both the fox and the woman at the end is Ahri, but the fox is Ahri's Spirit Blossom skin, in which she guides the souls of those who died to peace, but she never forces them to come with her. The monster Yone fought is an Azakana, a demon born of negative feelings and thoughts. Yone has indeed merged with him, and this allowed him to escape death (and also gave him a spirit sword, the red one). Yone starts to hunt for Azakanas and one of them coincidentally tried to trap Yasuo to become stronger. Yasuo and Ahri travel to Bilgewater, and participate there in the story of another Riot's game, The Ruined King.

To be more klear ^^ the Spirit Blossom Realm is the Reals Souls go after death in Ionia and their Cultural Idea of it ... and The Fox (even if its Ahris Ingame Skin) is more a Representation of Ahris Vastaya Trybe, wich there were more in Ionia a long Time Ago. Ahri herself is Searching for Relics or leftovers of her Trybe because they Disappeared somehow. (more of that in the Ruined King game where she finds some Answers) So The Fox is a Vesani Vastaya (thats the Tribe Ahri is from) because they are from Ionia. The Foxes Goal after Death is to guide the Souls to the Tree you could see befor Yone got Sidetracked by the Demos Lure.

I want to see dragons, demons, the void, powerful mages, anime-level martial arts, etc. I assume they started with Piltover/Zaun to ease people into the setting instead of dumping full fantastical right at the start, but the fact that the second season seems like it's going to be a lot more of Piltover/Zaun has me a bit worried. Yone died and entered the spirit blossom. The Spirit Blossom Festival is an ancient and celebrated time in Ionia, when the door to the spirit world is opened, the dead return to their loved ones, and spirits of all manner turn their eyes towards the living. From the benevolent Kanmei, to the obsessive Akana-their stories play out again and again, like shadows on a paper lantern. Yone kills an akana and when he woke up he is back in the real world. Ahri is a Kanmei. Yas can airbend. Ahri was the one that was with yas at the end and it links to the game the ruin king, which leads to the ruination. Yone went to seek yasuo cause yas's master died and yas was meant to look after him, Yone thought that his brother was killed his mater so went to seek him. Yas is protecting Ahri, Ahri is looking for something and grabbed yas as a bodyguard.

fantasic reaction! To explain, the first is about Ionian mythology about the spirit world. The man being guided through the spirit world is Yone. The creature is Yone's demon manifested (it mimics his movements as he resents having died with regrets). When he conquers his demon. it latches onto him and suspends him between life and death, which is why he shows up "alive" at the end.
The old man is a demon as well. Demons in the Runeterra world feed on life essence spawned from emotions, with lesser demons being more niche with what they feed on. For example, Fiddlesticks is a primordial demon of fear; he feasts on fear. This demon is feeding on Yasuo's guilt, which is why his dialogue is so focused on mocking him, and grows stronger the more Yasuo falls into his guilt. When the old man demon speaks to Yone, he says "it's no use, hunter. If he lives, I will return." This is about how even if the demon is thwarted, Yasuo's guilt will simply draw him back in, so Yasuo needs to let go of his guilt in order to conquer the demon, which he doesn't even recognize until he comes to terms with what he's done.
    I hope that helps!

Since Vi and Jinx weren't the most fleshed out storyline, but got chosen for Arcane. I think they might go with Yasuo Riven. Less established lore means they can play around more with the story. But that's just my speculation and you may be right.

    • @CrazyCircles1
      @CrazyCircles1 2 года назад +2

@@severedproxy Most stories have been remade.
The lore used to be that, you the player is one of the summoners who control imprisoned legendary champions.
That's why Fiddlesticks had his key around his neck, he used to be so powerful that he was the only one allowed to come and leave when he wants to. Now it has been remade, the key is gone, stolen by Zoey for unknown reasons.
Jinx has had her storyline since she came out, sister of VI, criminal and insane. There was even a special buff when those faced off on the Rift. Granted, there was little known about the interpersonal relationship between those two. But with every change and rework there has been stuff added to her lore.
My guess is that the next storyline will be around Noxus. Would be the smoothest transition since there is Noxian presence in the current Season. Most likely Swain, Leblanc, Vladimir - the big names.

    • @severedproxy
      @severedproxy 2 года назад

@@CrazyCircles1 Oh don't worry, I've played since beta and I have all the lore, including screenshots of the journals of justice, and yes the lore has been remade for the Nth time, but I still find it pretty understandable when it's changed. The Vi and Jinx lore being sisters was more of context clues than a clear cut story so just because we speculated it doesn't mean it was confirmed, but oh the clues they left were maddening since it was 99% confirmed and we only needed the official confirmation.
The fact that arcane is it's own universe also helps. Especially with all the changes they did to the history of the city including changing the mentor of Jayce and Viktor to Heimer and Singed instead of Pididly and turning Jayce into the creator of hextech. Because in the lore Hextech was already established before he even started school.
I agree that the next story is Noxus related since they're the ones who have been foreshadowed since the arrival of Ambessa and might then lead to the invasion of Ionia once they get the assistance from Zaun. Still contemplating on who Kino crossed, was it Swain, Darius, Boram or du Coteau?
edit: sorry for the bad english, fixed some that I caught but english isn't my first language so I hope my message is clear and isnt confusing, have a great day.

    Summary of Yasuo's story:
Yasuo was a very talented Ionian swordsman, and mastered a wind technique. During Ionia's invasion by Noxus, Yasuo was supposed to protect his school and his master, but he wanted to fight in the war. He abandoned the school, and his master was killed by another's wind techinque. When Yasuo returned, everyone assumed he had killed his master, so he became a wanted man. While fleeing, his brother Yone found him, they fought and Yasuo killed Yone. After death, Yone's spirit didn't get to rest, so he is still around.

So a few explanations, the first video was essentially the Ionian spirit world. I can't remember the exact details of the myths, but there were a bunch of skins created after them. So the fox wasn't ahri, but she did get a skin themed after it.
Yasuo's backstory is that he was assigned to protect his old master during the Ionian war with Noxus, but he left and came back to find him dead via some kind of wind technique. Because of this, he was assumed to have killed him and flees, hence Yone is pursuing him during the flashbacks. He's been seeking redemption ever since, and the end of the cinematic sets up the recent single player Ruined King game, which features Yasuo, Ahri, Braum, Miss Fortune, Pyke & Illaoi in Bilgewater & the Shadow Isles.

Im so glad to see you guys reacted to the cinematica i recommanded you i couldn't be happier! 🥰
So the lore is basicly this: in ionia there are little demons (not like fiddlesticks which is a great demon) these are azakana which like to feast on different emotions until they become a greater demon (think of them as parasites). When war hits ionia, Yasuo is tasked to protect his and his brother's (Yone) master but he failed doing so and their master dies, yasuo gets blamed for that and everybody in the village sees yasuo as the one who murdered their master (even yone). When yasuo meets yone they fight and yasuo wins (killing yone in the fight).
Spirit blossom is a very special tradition in Ionia that happens every few years when the spirit blossoms bloom; because people can talk to their lost ones (the spirit of a deceased gets traped in a flowers and when these floweres bloom the living can talk with them). In the first cinematic think of that as a purgatory, the nine tailed fox (which yes its Ahri 😂) is the protector of souls which has to lead them to safety and move on with their spirit life i guess. But yone gets lured by Thresh (he isn't the canonical Thresh this is how he is pictured in the Ionian myth which he should be representing the Collector, and ahri represents The Guardian), there you can see his azakana and when he defeats it he is resurected (somehow? Even us dont know how that works 😂) but what we do knoe is that when he defeted his azakana in the spirit realm, the azakana had time to infuse with yone (therefore the mask) and now yone wonders all around Ionia hunting down azakanas and cleansing ionia from them (ghost busters who? 😂)
Yasuo felt guilty for killing yone and wanted to talk with him badly this is why he went to this festival. What he didnt know tho is that when yone fought Yasuo, he was infected by an azakana. And the rest is pretty self explanatory in the second cinematic (the first one was pretty confusing and felt that it needed some explanations)
At the end when you see ahri they are going to bilgewater ti fight the black mist and viego (this is something i recommand aswell for you guys to watch all the ruination cinematics they are so well done)

First of all, I wanna say how much I love watching you reacting to league stuff. Arcane was great, obviously, but as a guy of many, who thinks league's lore has so much potential and so many stories to tell, it's just wonderful to see other people getting into this too.
Also, Ionia is such an astonishing place because of many different reasons. It's a part of the world in conflict with itself on many levels: It's kinda isolated, incredibly rich in mythology and also history. It's kinda different to many other regions because of their people's bonding to nature, beliefs and magic, but has to deal with the fact that the world is changing, that people's view upon magic is changing and they have to deal with a war, which leads Ionia to re-defining it's values. To be fair, every region of leagues world "runeterra" is great, but Ionia is truly something special.
Now, about the videos you reacted to...
There is so much about these two videos to say, because they are truly important for some league events aswell as some popular characters and their stories, but also because they expand the Ionian lore in such a great, spectacular way. Also, I'm not that deep in the league lore myself, so I'm probably not the best person to explain this to you or anyone else. If you wanna learn more about these characters and the grounding Ionian backround story, you can watch the Explanations by Necrit, a famous youtuber best known for his knowlegde about the league lore. The videos would be "Yone & Yasuo Cinematic explained" aswell as "The Lore of 'The Path' Animated Trailer Explained". Although I think they are not really fitting for reacting on, just watch them if you like :)
Thank you so much for your content, guys. Stay safe and never stop League reactions ^^

Glad ya'll watched this one. IMO this cinematic is one of the most narrative heavy ones Riot produced. I'm glad Ange was able to put things together to the point where he got a lot of his hunches correct. Yasuo was framed for killing his master and Yone was sent to avenge their master. Yasuo was running until he had no choice but to fight his brother and ended up killing him. Yone was possesed by an 'Azakana' demon in the spirit world and ended up coming back to life as a hunter. At the end of the video, the girl is Ahri. Both her and Yasuo are on their way to Bilgewater which sets up the Ruined King arc and video game. Which IMO leads to the second most narrative heavy cinematic called "Ruination'. This event is basically an ''Avengers' level battle where Champions from different regions team up to fight a threat. Hopefully y'all watch that one soon.

    thanks for reacting to this,
Spirit blossoms was one of the biggest evennt in league on 2020,it introduces 2 new characters to the game, yone and lillia, both connected to what Ionia is,and to the event of spirit blossom, yone being yasuos brother(he was actually first released on a different game, the legends of runeterra, the card game)
Then he was finally released to league, then lillia,u can actually see her on the first video, remember the first part, where he was walking with that little fox(also yes, that's ahri,it's also a gorgeous skin, spirit blossom ahri) u cut to three background scenes, first is that huge lady statue, that's Cassiopeia, second is that huge cloud wolf, that kindred, that's a skin,an alternate interpretive universe, cause kindred is literally death and in league,u can see them once u die,
And then third one,the sleeping statue, that's lillia, she's a centaur, she's born from the bud of the dream tree, her lore in this event is very similar to her actual lore
Also the event(spirit blossom) it's a huge event in Ionia, those characters I said, are not them, they're just the ones similar to ionias spirit world, like Cassiopeia, she's in shurima(and noxus) but she has a very similar character to a spirit in Ionia, which is why there's a skib of her there,it's like an alternate universe, while kindred,is well, kindred, she's the same in teh event, like lillia,
Also, yone isn't a bad guy,his just hunting azakanas(demons) which is what the old man was, what happened to him to the cinematic is canon,he ended up forging with the demon.

Basically the guy who merged with demon (Yone) is trying to find what his mask is and what he half-become so thats why he is “hunting” other demons (Azakanas) to find what he actually is. Also these demons has their own ranking and one of the strongest Azakanas are other champions inculded in League universe and thats Fear - Fiddlesticks and Lust - Evelynn, also Yone and Yasuo were fighting because Yasuo should have stayed with his master and take care of him but he left to help others fight with Nexus. Meanwhile his master was accidentally killed by another champion from universe called Riven, she came to this master for help bcs she wanted to stop fighting for Noxus when she realized what they bring to Ionia (they brung deadly poison created by another league champion Singed) league universe is just soooo huge and i love what it had become, cant wait for upcoming MMORPG Game that will be in Runeterra world.

The Ionian Legend from the first video shows us the fate of the big brother tempted by negative emotions (vengeance in this case), this goes deep in the Spirit Blossom event (which is kinda Dia de los Muertes in Ionia) but essentially Yone is one embodiment of the "big brother" from the legend. It is not 100% confirmed that it is Yone's journey we see in the cinematic but it may be.
As for the 2nd cinematic (obv peak btw):
-The elder turned demon is called an "Azakana", these are demons who feed on very specific negative emotions (Yasuo's case being guilt of killing a relative)
-Yone's current form is a hunter of said demons.
-The Azakana are the very bottom feeders / side liners in the demon hierarchy BUT they do have a Pokemon-ish evolution system where they can become stronger the more they feed on their specific emotion, the stronger they become, the more control they have over the emotion they feed on..(ex: you can go from guilt of doing X to Y straight to pure guilt)
-Huge skip ahead in this rant.. the pinnacle of the emotions demons feed on is Fear itself, that is to say all lesser demons are derived from the demons of Fear
    Now here's the interesting part..
It could be that Fiddlesticks IS one of the demons that feed on fear itself (this is based on a demon hierarchy pic riot released and Yone's in-game interaction with Fiddle which says "What ancient horror is this? Is... is this what an Azakana could become?!" - but you can find out this and more on Necrit's channel, best LoL lore source ever unpaid plug-).
If this gets confirmed, even more interesting questions / info come into light; Fiddlesticks calls himself "first of ten" are there 9 other "pinnacle" demons in existence, old as time and horror af? Cause Yone is a DEMON HUNTER and he seems terrified of just one.
TL:DR for 2nd cinematic: Yone and Fiddlesticks might have an encounter veeeeeery far into the future, or at least it's a plot line worth exploring - but were it to happen now Yone would vanish before Fiddle even gets a chance to record his last words-

Another great reaction guys, I'm really enjoying them!
For the frist video to my understanding it is just a retelling of an Ionian myth with the use of league characters as "actors" in a sense, it isn't Yone's story exactly its just a myth that has similarities to his backstory. The video was made to promote the Spirit Blossom event and skin line. The Fox is Ahri btw, in-game for her spirit blossom skin she'll turn into that fox for certain animations 😄
In the second video, Yone was killed by his brother Yasuo because Yone thought Yasuo was a part of the incident that resulted in their sword teacher/master being killed, and went after Yasuo as a form of "duty" and "honor". Yone's soul was sought out by a lesser demon and he did fight it off but not fully and kinda fused with it, but now with this new power that allows him to stay in the mortal world he goes around fighting those lesser demons like the one that attacked him, that's what him and Yasuo were fighting. Tbh its been a while since I read the stories and bio so please anyone correct me if I'm wrong 🤣
At the end it was Ahri and to me this hinted at Riot's newer game Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. Because Ahri and Yasuo go to bilgewater and team up with characters from there to fight Viego the Ruined King, you'll learn more about him when you watch the Ruined King/Sentinel cinematics.

So to help clear up what I can, the 1st cinematic was the spirit blossom reveal because we had an event in game for it, but the cinematic shows what happened to Yone’s soul after Yasuo killed him in the 2nd cinematic. The fox leading Yone’s soul in the afterlife is indeed Ahri (that’s also her spirit blossom skin in game) The whole point of the 1st cinematic was for Ahri to lead him into the afterlife, but he still has guilt that stayed with him and that’s the dark path we saw in the cinematic. If you look closely, above the dark path entrance was a purple lantern that lit up when Yone passed it and that was Thresh’s spirit blossom Lantern (he was an antagonist in the event that went against Ahri) basically Yone had so much unfinished business that he couldn’t let go and it sort of put him in a limbo state where he isn’t allowed to move on fully to the afterlife like Ahri was trying to guide him to, but he isn’t fully alive either despite being able to manifest in the real world. He’s now a spirit that will linger in Ionia until the Spirit blossom time fades which then closes the gap between the Spirit Realm and the real world until some time passes and it reopens once again. (All of this was explained in the ingame game).
In the 2nd cinematic, Yasuo is running because their master was murdered and everyone thinks it was him, but in reality it was another girl named Riven (who does appear in the Awaken cinematic, just look for the girl with short, white hair that fights with the green sword) and at the end of the of the 2nd cinematic, Yasuo is on the boat with Ahri and they are heading to Bilgewater. This is a setup for the Role playing game that was released on console where Ahri and Yasuo explore Bilgewater together and I do believe they end up falling in love with one another, but their paths take them in separate directions.
    Hope this helped 😊

  • @BlackMoridin
    @BlackMoridin 2 года назад +4

Oehh finally get to do a loredump on this one ;)
To understand these two cinematics and how they tie into each other, we need to understand Yasuo and Yone's stories, Ionian beliefs, and a little bit of demonology. Yasuo and Yone are brothers, specifically half-brothers. Yasuo was the bastard son of Yone's mother and another man, and because he was so looked down on, he always felt like he had something to prove, and with both their fathers absent from their lives, Yone had to be Yasuo's primary male role model. Fast forward to the Noxian Invasion, and Yone is leaving to fight on the front lines while Yasuo, having mastered a legendary wind technique, is left behind to defend his master. Yasuo goes to fight anyways, and returns to the monastery to find his master dead (it was heavily implied for the longest time that Riven was responsible before it was finally confirmed in the short story "Confessions of a Broken Blade"). Yasuo is blamed for Souma's death, so he goes looking for a way to clear his name before being confronted by Yone in a duel. Yasuo is forced to kill Yone, thus sending Yone's spirit to the spirit world.
This is where we have to branch out into multiple different areas of the mythos to tie these two cinematics together, so bear with me. First, Ionian beliefs. The Ionians believe that when you die, your soul gets sent to the spirit world, where a spirit guides your soul to a special flower where the living can commune with you that only opens once every year. However, souls can stray from this path, where others spirits can trap you in an endless cycle of torment where you relive your worst memories. Yone's soul almost gets trapped in that cycle, but before the loop can be closed, he gets intercepted by a special kind of spirit called an Azakana. Azakana are the lowest form of demon in Runeterra, they latch onto living souls and feed on a particular negative emotion that weighs heavily on a person's mind in the moment. In Yone's case, his Azakana was feeding on Yone's guilt for not taking a more active role in ensuring Yasuo stayed put with Souma. However, Yasuo killed Yone before the Azakana could graduate to full demon, forcing the Azakana to reveal itself sooner than intended to try to devour Yone's soul. Yone fights back and kills the Azakana, but is revived in the real world with the Azakana's mask attached to his face, neither living nor wholly dead. Yone is now hunting these Azakana in the hopes that by trapping them in their own masks, he can understand what he himself has become, thereby freeing him to travel to the afterlife. This pretty much explains "The Path," but there's an added layer in that it shows how the Ionians would tell the story, it doesn't show precisely what happened.
Fast forward to the events of "Kin of the Stained Blade," and Yasuo has attracted the attention of another Azakana feeding on Yasuo's guilt for killing Yone. Yone finds Yasuo and helps him defeat the Azakana at the last moment, and Yasuo, believing nothing is left for him to do in Ionia, decides to leave. As they do so, he becomes the bodyguard for Ahri, who's looking for any remnant of her Vastayan tribe, and they travel to the pirate port of Bilgewater, from where they will become central characters in the Ruined King game.
This of course was all leading up to Yone's release during the spirit blossom event that League had last year, which was its first major lore event since "The Burning Tide" in 2015. Yone is actually one of the more important characters in the context of the universe due to how tied up he is in the cosmology of the world and of course, demons. He actually has several quotes against demon characters in-game.
Also did a lore dump underneath the Warriors video dunno if you saw that one yet ;)
Anyway nice vid as always ♥

The old man is an Azakana. A lesser demon in the world of runeterra. Each of them feed off one emotion or feeling. They also latch onto one individual in particular. The old man was feeding off Yasuo's guilt, or perhaps his shame of what hes done. Thats why the video is called "Kin of the stained blade" and part of the ritual is washing the blade clean. Its the blade he killed his brother with.
As for Yone, he died, and as he died, the Azakana connected to him (unsure what that one fed on) tried to consume his soul. Instead, Yone somehow fought back, and almost killed the Azakana. This is shown in "The Path" where Yone fights a demon that comes from his own strong emotions. But, the azakana at the last second knew it would lose, and instead fused itself with Yone forcefully. The mask stuck to his face is part of the Azakana's body, and Yone kinda came back from the dead as half-demon. To this day, the azakana tries to bide its time and kill Yone in a moment of weakness, but Yone is using the azakanas powers to kill and seal away other azakana.
The reason Yasuo seems to protect the old man for a moment could be because his mind is still being manipulated and only thinks its a old man still. While we as the viewers see it for the monster he is.

You should see the trailer for "The ruined king" which gives some continuity to these cinematics.

For little explanation, as I know Yone is an azakana hunter, the azakanas are demons that gains their powers by the bad emotions of people, the old man was an azakana that manipulated Yasuo to remember his traumas and use this to become stronger, thats why Yone appears, he is a hunter, and thats why the bigger the monster gets, the weaker Yasuo feels, it is consuming him, when he fights back the monster, he fights back all his traumas and demons.
The monster also says, "as long he lives i will return" meaning that as Yasuo steel don´t fight his traumas the azakana will come back, and he says "I won´t be the last" too, there are more demons torturing people and Yone hunts him, in the first cinematic you can see a mask in Yone´s "belt" and is because he collects the azakanas he hunts, also when he defeat the old man monster, we can see he have more masks, and obviously the old man´s one.
Azakana hunters can´t interfere in other circumstances in the world of the living is they are not related to the azakanas, that´s one of the reasons Yone said "You might deserve death, but not by my hand"

    Amazing video as always!!
Also, Ahri is from Ionia. And her race is called vastaya. Vastayans are like hybrids of human and animals/beasts and they reside in Ionia. Along the way, hopefully, you’ll get to know more of league champs that are vastayans, like sett, xayah, rakan etc.

The nine-tailed fox at the start was not Ahri. What you see in "The Path" is the spirit realm and then the real world at the end.

In the first cinimatic it’s was Yone in the realm of death (he was blonde there just because it’s a game skin for him) , the fox is a spirit that guide him all over the death realm to to light (reincornecion) u may see all a lot spirits that don’t make that way like a guy stuck in the tree or a lot of outher stone people , in the end Yone turned from the path , this demon in the end was born from this pain and regrets that Yone can’t forget for himself , but the demon dont win the fight , so he’s still Yone , but now he is spirit bound between two realms … like a revenge spirit .

LETS GOOOO! I've been waiting for this one!
Basically, Yasuo was mistaken as the killer of his master, Elder Souma, the man who taught him the wind technique. Yasuo is something of a generational talent, and the only person to fully unlock the wind technique, which allows him control of wind and air. Anways, Yone and the other students from the school hunt down Yasuo, to try and bring him to justice, while Yasuo tries to seek the true killer. In the end, Yasuo kills every member of the school, and Yone is the last one. What you see here is the continuation of both of their stories, with Yasuo traveling to Bilgewater with Ahri, which leads into the Ruined King game, and the Yone becoming a hunter of the red demon things you saw, Azakana. They are basically malevolent spirits that feed off negativity. He kills the Azakana, and then stores them in the masks you see wrapped around his belt.
These two are my most favorite characters in League Lore, and I'm so happy you both like them as much as I do, and want a series as much as I do. Another banger upload! Another one added to the likes column.

The whole Spirit Blossom was the event exploring League lore in form of Ionian tales and legends so it's not really 1-to-1 canon but rather free interpretation. There also was a visual novel content during this event with stories around different league characters.
Kin of the Stained Blade is also a prequel to the game Ruined King.

It's funny that you said metal band cuz they actually have a video like that "Pentakill: Mortal Reminder"
And some other videos I think are cool are "Rise of the underworlds" (it has Ekko) "Guardians of the ancient" and "As we fall"

So a little scene detail that's quite good in Kin of a Stained Blade. In the beginning when they fight Yasuo says "Your Honour stains the land". If you note the scenery and remember it when we see it as children, then it was lush fields that were filled with life compared to their devestated scene when they fight, the implication that the war caused this devestation and Yone being unable to stop it.

aight summary of the first one story:
the main character is yone (yo-nay) this is him after he has died and gone to the spirit realm. he is being led by a fox that shepherds people to the afterlife. Some people like yone are attached to a monster called an azakana, these are demons made out of negative emotions. The azakana usually devour the people they are haunting and take their place in the mortal realm but yone manages to kill his in the spirit realm, waking with the azakanas mask on his face and has indeed become a sort of hybrid.
    story 2:
the main character is yasuo, little brother of yone. Yasuo and Yone were disciples of a school of sword techniques unique to ionia. Yone was the typical duty bound honorable warrior and yasuo a little more free. Yasuo is an unheard of prodigy, mastering techniques with little effort while yone has to work his butt off to get the same result. Yone gets a little jealous of yasuo but is determined to prove himself. Noxus then invades ionia and Yone orders yasuo to stay and fulfil his duty to protect his elderly master despite yasuo's burning desire to protect his land. yasuo leaves to fight and his elder is killed by noxian deserter riven who also uses wind techniques. yasuo is blamed and becomes a criminal. yone then hunts him down and tries to put yasuo down. yasuo kills yone in the fight. his guilt over this produces yasuo's own azakana (the old man) who tries to devour him. Yone returns as a badass half demon and wanders the land killing azakana. with both of their demons slain they move on from their guilt and begin new lives free of burden.

    so some clarifications:
the first vid is for a skin for the game, but what's cool is that the characters are story in ionia (so the characters you saw in that animatic are skins, including the fox, which is a skin for ahri)
the second vid, not too sure about this but i read that the reason yassuo was protecting the demon was because he still sees the demon as an old man until that point where he says he'll stop running (forgot how he finally saw the demon, but I think when the demon fully formed that's the time yassuo saw him). also that's ahri on the boat with yassuo, teasing for the ruined king game and the ruination event.

if you want to follow the kin of the stained blade storyline, you should react to the "Ruined King" story (the games cutscenes and dialogues, i know it's long but gives SOOO much depth to the sotry) and ONLY THEN watch the ruination cinematic (the first thresh animation, the one with the son who looks for his father, takes place before the ruination and the second, the one with the cursed waiter, after)
