Thank you very much, I have reviewed some points on a lot of times! And finally, after two terrible attempts, I managed to create my own anime character. It was my little dream. I am very grateful to the author of this video! Now I can make them myself!
This video really helped me a lot, original speed video easily understood and much more helpful than those 10x timelapse. You could add bgm yourself if you want :)
Best tutorial hands down, I almost didnt want b/c no voice over, but I just put on some cowboy bebop lofi and put playback to .5 and it's a whole vibe!
Make sure your model is at point of origin 0.0 the mirror is based on that origin point so if your model is not where it should be it will not flip correctly.
Little tip, u dont need to change the view for rotate the circle to be faced to the correct side. When u create the circle u can open the "add plane" that appears when u put some object and in the option "Align" if u select "View" it will already be turned to the correct face.
i calculated this all and idk if its exact because the video is speed up but it took him almost 7 hours to completely make this all (correct me if im wrong)
I couldnt fill with "grid fill" in minute 6:43 and I discovered that was because I had a odd number of vertices so i subdivided a line between two point in order to a get a even number of vertices and then when I tryied to "grid fill" again it worked, I wish that it can help someone else.
I hope to have either A> you redo this with words as I learn by words and watching,or B>you link who inspired/what you watched to learn this method if you didnt teach yourself of course. I am very bad at drawing and sculpting but can make 2d characters using the vertices and fill but I would love to make these characters 3d using the same method as you.
1:49 to 1:51 . how did you create that vert? you pressed control rclick then it was just there. and how does it seamlessly connect with its mirrored vert?
Yes it does also work for them but you would need a side view for their hair which wouldn't be hard to find there's plenty of reference art available for those characters.
Recalculate the outside normals for the distorted mesh.. to see distorted mesh properly.. click overlays at the top of the screen and tick face orientation.. Now the wrongly faced faces will be highlighted in red.
1:51 Please can anyone tell me how to get the middle line in this video section, the sub divide tool does not work for me, maybe i am missing something very important
umm hey can you tell me how you can change the origin with each vertices like you know my origin is set as default and I dunno how to solve the issue as I'm new to Blender or rather Modeling in general
Thanks for the reply but I already figured it out, so i need to use connected option to edit object without affecting another object around it, and great video btw thanks a lot
@@au5789 u can merge by snapping the two vertices together (look up how to snap vertex in blender if you don't know how) and pressing "m" and select by distance.

Just search the internet for hhe character.. you will see many reference images that look similar.. It must not be exact for you to follow the tutorial.
I later found out.. This is easy. Just ctrl right click on the point.. make sure no vertice is selected, because if any vertice is selected, it will be extruding that vertice and you dont want that. Ctrl right click is like another way of extruding without pressing e and you must be in edit mode.. no need to thank me.. you're welcome.
i have both time and effort to do this but i dont know the key board short cuts he used and the key cast dosent help that much so yeah... i could do all that manually but i dont wanna waste like 100+ hours of my life.

thanks i was making a blender character project and didnt know much about circle tool. though i didn't use the full video, thanks this really helped
this is my baseline to make bodies and faces, since i dont like sculpt tools i love the extremelly low usage of those here
just straight to the point from the beginning to the end, i like you a lot now.
Yes, now I’ve learnt the secrets of anime in Blender :D
Bruh. This is better than any tutorial I've seen so far on modelling anime characters. THIS ISN'T EVEN A TUTORIAL 😂🤣

Cool! I'm definitely going to need to make more use of circles and that mirror modifier (The vanilla X mirror tool seems to never work for me).

How you make the smooth curve viewport and not a bunch of block making body shape
