My family's favorite is Taco Bell. I agree with you about In-and-Out's fries, they're soggy & nothing special (same about Chick Fila's). I'd love to try White Castle but there aren't any in California!
For the McDonalds you have to go to the right one. Like the one in the small town I live in we have 1 inside of town and outside of town. You have to go to the one inside of town in order for it to be good

They ALSO have good fries, and I like to get their MarketFresh sandwiches when I go there, but from what I've been hearing, I think they might serve Wagyu burgers too

Only thing is you can mostly find it in the most ghetto parts or CA, so you kinda have to risk your life for it. Lol

I haven't has Mcdonald's since 2020 (pokemon kids meal binge overdose) but i bought some again this weekend and....omg...it was so horrible....they said they were coming out with "better new burgers" XD yeah okay ? Want some nice burgers? TRY JACK IN THE BOX ! FIVE GUYS! JOHNNY ROCKETS! SONIC!!! (the experience is neat at sonic drive-in, but i wonder if an uber would let you haaha, what if theyre an ubereats?! Rent a car..just for Sonic Drive-in haha) :) Also as a california native, since I grew up on potato-y fries, rather than crunchy crisps, I love them BOTH in their different ways. I just have beef with how small in n out fries are, i can barely dip them in ketchup without them ghosting me :( i think some people like to struggle yknow, its like fun, to them. Don't come to the east coast for burger /fast food joints. Cali has the best IMO.
