Just to let you know.... that Oreo cookies are NOT the original. They are in fact a copy of Hydrox cookies. Hydrox being the orginal sadly Hydrox no longer exist.
For the chicken selects/nuggets, the difference is McDonald's deep-fry theirs while you did the store ones in the oven. That might make the selects taste better especially given the crispier coating.

By the way the same goes for paracetamol etc. I feel like some people get put off by using store brand medication but it's more than likely placebo effect that "it's not as good" when in reality they have the exact same ingredients🙂

The fraud version of kinder Bueno is so much better than the original BUT somewhere you can't cheap out is heinz tomato sauce where as the fraud version is just red water
As someone who grew up in pretty extreme poverty in the UK a really special treat would be to have one of the knock-off bars from brands like Mr choc, after growing up and buying my own food I realise that the real stuff is no where near worth it except for the fake walkers sour cream (absolutely revolting)

The Oreo - Neo bit reminded me that I can't even eat Kellog's Nutri-Grains any more. They are SO dry. Aldi's ones are so much better. Lidl's are also very different, still better than Kellog's. They're almost crispy. Oh and when I tried the Neos years ago, I thought they were awful. Maybe they've changed?
