How is your local chicken joints compared to Popeyes? I've been to New Orleans in the past and had pohboys but not fried chicken. Outside of Louisiana all we have is Popeyes. I bet your local places have wilder flavors.
@@dkfrombk3260okay uhhh i know you”re not asking me but i live in louisiana there’s this local fried chicken wing place (now becoming a place for meats and seafood (crawfish, crab, shrimp only i think)) that’s like a 7 minute drive away and it’s sooo good. i mean my standards are always low but this place always hits for me! the chicken is always crispy and never dry, my parents always buy from this place when we need to bring food to parties or when my parents don’t wanna cook and stuff so we buy from them like every month or so. the flavoring is great too!! there’s two variants: regular and garlic. both of them taste really good !! i’m not very good at describing, but i can tell you that there is a generous amount of seasoning on them, i think. they’re both very savory obviously, i don’t know i’m not very good with words when i comes to describing sorry! honestly i prefer this place more than popeyes if i just wanna eat chicken because we can buy a lot more wings here for cheaper than buying at popeyes but popeyes still is very good !! one if not my favorite fast food place

LOL the teacher @ 8:30 "I feel quite strongly about that" you can tell my man has been awake at night thinking about where you draw the line between an american biscuit and a british scone 🤣
I work there in 2010. And another thing I noticed they fry the chicken in beef tallow big 25lb cubes get thrown into the fryer I don't remember if they mixed it with oil or not. I'm 100% sure it compliments the flavor of the breading.
That one boy turned pink!! He did that in another episode with spicy food as well. That's amazing! He could be like a spicy-food-detector. Even when all the ghost pepper and other spicy chili pepper craze was popular, and fast food joints were incorporating them into their food, those items weren't even that spicy as well. The fact that people exist around the world that really just don't do any spices at all is just wild to me.

Well, the second last sentence gives a flashback 😅
How is your local chicken joints compared to Popeyes? I've been to New Orleans in the past and had pohboys but not fried chicken. Outside of Louisiana all we have is Popeyes. I bet your local places have wilder flavors.
@@dkfrombk3260okay uhhh i know you”re not asking me but i live in louisiana
there’s this local fried chicken wing place (now becoming a place for meats and seafood (crawfish, crab, shrimp only i think)) that’s like a 7 minute drive away
and it’s sooo good. i mean my standards are always low but this place always hits for me! the chicken is always crispy and never dry, my parents always buy from this place when we need to bring food to parties or when my parents don’t wanna cook and stuff so we buy from them like every month or so.
the flavoring is great too!! there’s two variants: regular and garlic. both of them taste really good !! i’m not very good at describing, but i can tell you that there is a generous amount of seasoning on them, i think. they’re both very savory obviously, i don’t know i’m not very good with words when i comes to describing sorry!
honestly i prefer this place more than popeyes if i just wanna eat chicken because we can buy a lot more wings here for cheaper than buying at popeyes
but popeyes still is very good !! one if not my favorite fast food place

Not any more. The Popeye's over here has gone down hill. Such a disappointment. 😔
@@Crystalrenee481Ours too here in MO. I miss the Popeyes locations in Louisiana.
I work there in 2010. And another thing I noticed they fry the chicken in beef tallow big 25lb cubes get thrown into the fryer I don't remember if they mixed it with oil or not. I'm 100% sure it compliments the flavor of the breading.
I worked at one in '18 and very often we would get shipments in and the chicken would have to thaw before we could season them.
I heard they soak their chicken in water, marinate it for hours then double dip it in both dry flour and egg batter.
That one boy turned pink!! He did that in another episode with spicy food as well.
That's amazing! He could be like a spicy-food-detector. He could work even with the lights out because he would light up like a night-light! I don't think I've ever seen someone react to spicy food as quick as all that before! A real talent.
