I used to work on film sets,doing the carpentary and got paired with an older bloke that worked back on sets back in early 70s and said that bindon was an absolutely a nightmare and a terrible bully to both cast and crew.one day hed rowed with a certain director,stormed out,pushing one of the set carpenters flying, when he asked bindon,why he done it,bindon exploded..but un beknown to bindon,this guy was up and coming boxer,doing the carpentry to make ends meet..well this old guy told me that bindon took a viscious hiding..had to drag this guy off bindon,he was out cold taking blows..after that bindon was not seen for a few days,carpenter got the sack and when bindon didcome back it quietened him down alot for a while,i think it was a ken loach film though if that rings any bells to anyone ..dont know which one!!
