Guzzi all the way, and to the people who say the dealer network isn’t vastly available this is true! that being said Moto Guzzi’s are designed to be do it yourself bikes - final drive, trans and engine oils all can be done yourself in like 30 mins max, the heads stick out making a valve check maybe take an hour. All the bolts are marked so you know if they’re loose, fit and finish is above the rest. Fan boy yes but I love many other brands too. The value for what you get ratio for Moto Guzzi it top notch ! Mid size shaft bikes are dope! i love the r nine t as well.
Who is the Guzzi for? Experienced riders who wrench on their own stuff for enjoyment and appreciate art for art's sake. There's no age bracket or gender for this, really, which is why it's tough to nail down. We're used to squids, dads, and weekend tough guys on bikes who are easy to group. Guzzi people are romantic weirdos in love with machines in a way a lot of other riders are not. In many ways I consider them the best current manifestation of classic motorcycle culture.
Auto technician who drives a Saab. Wait that's me, I'm loving my Motog for all of it. Best bike for my oddness for sure. Guzzi nailed it, simple retro joy. All the others are all the same. Don't be afraid of it, it's so simple to maintain, like a tractor from the 60s.
I feel one day I will have to own this bike. I love working on my own bikes, have owned 3 Saabs at one point, and I sold my 2018 VStrom 1000 after a year because it was just a bit too perfect. :P
Moto Guzzi's are just different. It's a wholistic experience rather than a focus on just one or two aspect of riding. My air-cooled, pushrod, dry clutch, shaftie is a lifetime bike.

Love the analogies. The Moto Guzzi is the kind of friend bike that alerts you when it's Girl Scout cookie season. Lol. If I ever come across a motorcycle that will bring me water and Alkaseltzer, I will know that's the bike for me.
I subbed you with both my channels, the other is a cooking channel. Love your videos! I also love the conversation, while riding. I often call my uncle while riding, he's old school, still has a 61 harley.
I can relate to the joy of "making it hard for yourself" -- although in my case, it was switching away from upright/ADV-ish bikes back to more sporty ones. There's zero reason for me to be hunched in some rear sets and clip-ons on the street, but that discomfort tickles my brain in a way I can't really explain. My partner would call it masochism, but hey, gotta find fun in life somehow. Great video!
I own the V85TT and have a R nineT that I've ridden around a lot. Comfort? Guzzi. Quality? Guzzi looks? Guzzi Speed? BMW but it has a much bigger engine Power delivery? Guzzi. much better linear power and torque Brakes and suspension? Definitely the Guzzi is better Frankly, they are two different bikes and you must accept them for what they are. However, If I was to choose one of the two....GUZZI is the undisputed king. The BMW has only a bit of extra HP to offer, on every other category....the R nineT has nothing Truth is, if the Guzzi needs to be explained to you.....sorry, it doesn't work. I've owned plenty of bikes, currently I own 8 in the garage but my Aprilia Tuono and my 3 Guzzis are by far my favorite. The Guzzis are acquired taste. It is a bike that you must ride, feel the vibration feel the soul. They have character and full of odd corks. Very few people who own Guzzis or owned a Guzzi in the past will ever tell you that they would never own one again. In fact, most people regret for selling it.
"I don't think they make this colourway anymore, I think it's an older model" ??? How come you had Centenario limited edition and didn't know about it??? LOL 100 years of Moto Guzzi so they have made only 100 of V85 in this colour. I ride exactly the same V85 but it's my girlfriend's. Love this machine. We are going to Switzerland from the UK on two Guzzis this year. Can't wait.
From looks alone I can't stand the BMW and I usually like their bikes. It really accentuates the saggy jugs look. Used to have an MG California 1400 and now have the V85 TT bought used. It's a wonderful bike. The BMW looks like it's a 5-6000 dollar bike, cheap looking and it retails for twenty thousand and the V85 decked out is a hair over 13,000
Iv hade v7 stone, I loved my guzzi , but the new headlights with the whole batman , bird, lights, dork alert, no, no! still the engine is a gem. I would have liked it to be more retro, less early 2000 style, its like biek decigners is stuck in early 2000 smooth plastic look.. no. make it more retro
Okay. Maybe I’ve watched the Watchmen movie too many times, because the Guzzi’s tank reminds me of Night Owl’s costume and it’s dual headlights remind me of the Owl Ship. Regardless, it’s always great to see you two together and I really hope more is to come. Great job and thanks for putting it out there for us.
I'm glad to see you and spite are still cool. You guys are interesting together. You should do something together randomly

It's always a good day when we get a 20 min Spite and Whitney video :)
I think Giggle Factor should be something on all bike reviews, it's the most honest rating for bikes I've ever heard.
Zack sounds like he's going to start using that rating on Daily Rider.
Whitney and Spite! Great combination and a great discussion between two personable and entertaining people. Thanks for the review of the Guzzi!
The Yin and Yang of review styles. I like both.
Guzzis are interesting, unique motorcycles…biggest issue is nearest dealer is 500 miles away and the network seems spotty everywhere..
A slow day on my bike is better than a perfect day in my car.
The dream team! I like to imagine a tiny Josh inside the gopro pulling levers and pressing buttons
Love you guys and the positive energy!

Awesome chemistry, you should consider making additional content together.
More Spite-Whitney collaborations!
Whitney and Spite: The new Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler Moore. in free form! Thank you for the smiles
Great video Whitney!! Love watching your content
That looks like a MG I would consider owning. GREAT content guys! 🤙

If you're missing some torque on the V85TT, perhaps you should try and score a ride on a Griso.
This video answers the question absolutely nobody asked.
V85 is such a great looking bike.👍🏻

I bought a '14 VFR and sold my 08 Road King... so there we are.
I own the V85TT and have a R nineT that I've ridden around a lot.

You know what? There really is something about the Pan America. I'm more of a sports tourer person than an ADV person but the Pan America is special.
Ya That Pan , i`~Vg Likes.
Nice ride guys!
Moto Guzzi give the V7 the full 85hp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'll make spite giggle
Ah yes.
Spite and Whitney.
All the nostalgia of YN without the douchbaggery.
I could not agree more!!

Those Roads around Stugis Are VERY Nice✔️✔️.
What height are you on the Guzzi, and inside leg please

WRX? Do tell.
I am from Europe. Guzzi is fore pretty boys. BMW is fore men
went to Guzzi meet-up in the UK and haven't seen a single pretty guy :) LOL
Pretty Old'R....Guys maybe?.
Try a Guzzi you never know you might like it. BMWs are great but are lacking mojo.
