That Cat needs a major Kevin make over!
Watching you guys resurrect these old machines is the best! It would be cool get a behind the scenes video of what Kevin has to do to prep these old girls for paint. I’m sure others would also like to watch that type of content
You guys do a great job teaching Mason and Tucker. Tucker did a great job of welding
I’d like to see all the prep Kevin has to do before he can even paint. I figured it was Chris, Letsdig18. I enjoy watching every video of you guys working on equipment. Good to see your boys learning the business.
If there ever was a candidate for blasting I believe that one is as much paint as it has on it.
Great episode again guys, Tuckers welding is getting better and better and he is so modest too!. An LD18 logo on those new plates would look very nice 😀
I thought for sure he was going to cut those plates with his logo in them. I guess a sucker will have to suffice.
Kev is the reason there's safety meetings!!! LMBO 😂😆😂
Thoroughly enjoyed.
Keep them coming.🙏🇺🇸
Great job on the radiator installation, team work is dream work
Nice to see Matt at your shop 👍
great video series, Clinton! all y’all are total wizards!
Good looking weld, good job Tucker
I love all of you guys and your work is amazing
Great job high quality work
Good job guys love them old girls keep up the good work ❤❤❤❤❤
Tucker is a man of few words. But he can sure stack some dimes !!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Yes he is and yes he does. There is no reason to speak a thousand words when your work speaks for itself.
@@nathanscott7910 facts. Also the way Clint is raising these boys is awesome !!! The MERICAN WAY !!!
Doubt folks realize how DANGEROUS this work can be. The PINCH POINTS where one can lose fingers, or hands, are too many to count! 😳
Nice weld Tucker. 👍
I love these videos 😊. You guys work good together 👍🏻
I actually guessed right! Great work guys, can't wait to see it all painted up.
I really admire your skills and attention to detail. I also think it would be great to see how you go about doing a paint job on one of these old units. It's got to be incredibly time consuming!
Very impressive job on the welding Tucker!!! Beautiful welds!!!😊
Thanks 👍
Always enjoyed watching the old Cat bulldozer videos and I hope we get to see more of them !
Can’t wait to see the next video on the cat restoration! Keep up the great work guys!
You make the videos and I will watch! Working on a piece of equipment, painting equipment or hauling and even working it! I really enjoy your content. There hasn’t been one video that I haven’t watched. Keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing!!
hella good job, Tucker! looks factory fresh! 👊👊👍👍🤙🤙
Yall are doing a wonderful job ❤
Man I can’t wait to see you guys turn this back to a new kitty 🐈⬛. This is the mark of a true visionary. You have to look past the problems and know what you are going to turn it into. I always said that was nice because I bought some what people thought were turds and turned them into green.
The difference between knowing what's junk and what just needs a little (or more) TLC. Takes a good bit of knowing what you're doing to know what you can actually do.
@@bobmahnamahknob You can’t learn that in a book and did my college Economics Degree help do that ? Not one bit. I taught myself over the years.
@@moman0166 I worked for a two or three man do it all operation for years. We had tractors, bush hogs, chipper, 8 ton dump. Nothing huge, but we'd go out and work em all day then fix them in the evening. Learned SO much just doing it. Get the manual and dig in, right?
Thank you guys for your vids. Lots of tips and tricks learned.
:) Great Vlog always good to see Matt and Chris :)
Great video! As always! Keep them coming! 👌👍
Lovely job of welding the strenghten plates....nice seeing rad etc getting fitted etc...stay safe you all
Love the video Clint and familys on the CAT D7F .
a very good video Well Done Mason for putting up with the OLD people
Tucker always seems nonplussed, but he does one heck of job welding!
Another fun video, thank you for your efforts. Your team is fun to watch. Looking forward to the painting video for Chris's new machine.
I've always wanted one of those I operated one in the US Army in Bavaria in the Alps and fell off the side of the mountain skidding 5000 ft down into the valley. The D7 caterpillar climb straight back up to standing ovation.
I laughed out loud in the opening seconds when the blur was still present on top of your C&C logo!
Definitely want to see as much as you can post on that machine. Specially the paint job.
I had a feeling that Chris wanted the D7 when i watched his video on it. He was having too much fun testing it out.
It’s great you have an inspector checking you out when you reassemble the radiator
enjoying your videos about diesel equipment, something I know little about.Your boys dont know how blessed they are to have you, a good father
Just saw y'all headed out of Nashville, NC. Safe travels!
Another great video, thank you for sharing, i learn a lot , always a pleasure see the dream team working 👍👍👍👍
I'd love to see the full restoration work on this project. Love the collaboration with Chris . Great content as always. Thanks for the upload.
Great work! Looks like it will do all it was supposed to do when new. But maybe would be passed over by someone who goes by looks. There’s a lesson there somewhere. Glad it’s getting a new paint job too. Thanks for posting.
I'd love to see Kevin's paint job and transport to buyer. Sandblast and a new coat of paint really makes for a complete unit.
Sounds good
Looks like fun when you were running it around the yard
Nice job Tucker !
As usual, another outstanding job, I really like the tutelage that Tucker gets, during the repair process, great job guys
That big ole core is something else. When you're done it sure be interested to hear a list of all you did to it.👍
I figured in his vid this was coming. It is going to make him one damn fine machine.
Sweet old machine🎉 going to a good home.
I'm glad it's going to a good home great job Clint and Tucker and Kevin and Mason
Nice! Chris needs another oldie but a goodie for his collection!
Love the videos and quality of work Clint. You have a great business and stand by your work. Respect from here in the Uk
38.21 I know my eyes are old but that looks like a crack on the inside opposite of the plate with that B Pressure Weld 😂😂
Great job as always.
Another great video, crew. Always enjoyable, interesting, educational, informative and entertaining.
BTW, the new camera is much more crisper. Thanks for protecting our eyes, Clint 😂👍👍🍻
Enjoyed the vid, would love to see more on this one.
Thatsa fine Cat Dozer it sounds and runs smooth...Great Vid👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That’s some fancy footwork there Clint!
That is a sweet running, shifting, operating D7, great machine.
Love your channel Clint.
I have to admit I was surprised at your mystery man. Considering how far he lives from you and how close Dirt Perfect is, that is who I was expecting.
Chris keeps buying that old reliable equipment!! Looking forward to seeing it finished on your channel, and running on Chris' channel!
On the opposite side of that patch job almost looked like a crack. Thanks again for the great video and content.
You know, there is a lot to be said in favor of older equipment Clint. No "government juice", no electronics, no computer and seemingly built heavier duty. Great job in bringing the old D7 kitty cat back from neglect. I figured we'd see Chris (Let's Dig 18) since he was making the RUclips rounds in Indiana but didn't expect to see Matt (Diesel Creek). Great stuff, as always
Good job guys
The boys are coming great. I hope they might follow in their father's footsteps.
Great job on the Dozer for letsdig18. . Like to see the process of sandblasting and paint if it's possible. keep up the great work , love your Channel. 👍🙂👍
My homeboy Larry has one of these. My most recent short video is me pulling him out of the mud after he got it stuck. It’s a wonderful machine and it is amazing how much more dirt you can move with the D7 versus the D6-sized TD15. Chris is going to love this machine, I can pretty much guarantee it. And I was shocked to see a crack on that push arm. That fix will make it good for a few thousand hours though. High five, Tucker!🕺
Good job getting the dozer running and operating good.
Great video. The cat needed som TLC and you provided it. I'm sure when Kevin works his magic, it will look brand new. Bring on the restoration video.
Would love to see the further progress. And put an LD18 touch on it
Nice welds Tucker!
I think Mason should win the tool box/tools. 🙂
Great suggestion 👍👍🍻
Watching Clint's feet on those pedals reminds me of a 1/2 mile outlaws racer. Great video - fun all the way around! That weld on the left side blade tube was referred to as "chicken daubers" and that would get everyone in the shop to come over and laugh, that would offend the chickens. We know Tucker can seam stitch a weld like a pro 😁
I always called it pigeon sh*t and looked around to see if there were any about... LOL
Tuckers doing pretty good with the welding .
Good for Chris going back to CAT yellow!
Great to see another Cat lover, oh and Ford lover too.
Nice one guys I am looking forward to the next video of yours on this and Kevin's magic before the delivery. Safe travels. Ken.
I’m glad chris bought it , going to a good home
about 20 years ago me and my grandfather scrapped his early 1950s cat d8 dozer. it was cable operated. the engine was seized and it was way unaffordable to rebuild. we pulled the radiator pretty early and it alone brought pver $300 in scrap copper! we could barely lift it to get in the truck! i learned a lot about how it was built (well made machine) and i still have the crankshaft out of the engine use it for a counter weight on my box blade!!
That was certainly one huge scoop Mrs Clint of C&C had. So much to done on this old D7F and more in Kevin's trusty hands. Would love to see you in North Carolina with LetsDig18. Great video thank you and well done Mason.
Wow that's one smooth kitty! That's the perfect cat for Mr Chris I can't wait to see him putting it to work down here in NC.
You guys are busting Masons nuts pretty good. I like he offered Kevin some brake clean for his wound. Battery band saw was badass, never have seen that. Would not paint it. Great work as always. Thanks
What a fun job making old junk work
Nice to see Matt from Diesel Creek dropping in 👌👌
Thanks Clinton, you're making good videos and we'll soon see Tucker making a bunch of decals while Kevin does his amazing magic and delivers Chris Guins some old iron made new. It looks like Mason has been well tutored by Randy and it's working! You and Kevin badger him and play tricks and Mason just keeps smiling and getting better in the shop. We had a D7 @ Clyde's farm and it looks way bigger in real life.
Great video. Nice old iron for sure. Will fit in good with Chris's collection.
Nice old 7 that when they made them good back then I remember them very well .
They get the job done too.
Y'all all ways do a great job even with all the B.S. you gave to your son too . I think the boys know you love them too .
God bless even Kevin too.
👍 I thought that back ripping seems like a great idea until your front end gets shaky as grandma's walker on ice, so those oversize pistons make sense.
really impressed with Mason - good helper - follows instructions well - gonna be a great wrench one day.
Take us through the whole process please - don't often get to see that kind of work. Thanks much!
Low hours..drove on Sundays.. and holidays..great condition.. we'll take it. Another happy customer.
Hey Clinton nice job ,but mostly thank you and Kevin and Mason for a great laugh it's nice to see guys paying each other out ,and enjoying each other's company while working really enjoy your channel Mate, better than TV
Cheers Kym
Adelaide
Thanks 👍
This CAT pile looks like a little beast!! Chris finally gets a set of rippers, but there backwards for him 😂 Interesting for sure, and every piece is heavy 😂 Nice work guys!!👍🇺🇸
Hope you had a safe trip to North Carolina sir. If my calculations are correct you are probably settling in for the evening to head back or hopefully hang out with Chris for a day and move some earth. Take care.
It's a veteran like me, from 1977-1986. Love it ripping out stumps and whatnot. It's better w/ the winch for getting others unstuck (and your self)
Can We see Kevin's prep and actual painting of this one??? Love the before and afters of all the paint jobs and new decals!!
I like how Kevin saw the pad burning on the table and just covered the hot piece of metal back up with the burning pad.
Hope he does get Her, will love to see you deliver her to Him in NC, and love to see all that yeller paint on the ole girl
