As a BBTS fan, I appreciate your honest and respectful way of explaining what you don't like personally about the song. As you say correctly, there is an audience for the more tricky and complicated turns that composer and guitarist Electro Sonar added to the song, and I find these elements very entertaining and interesting to listen to. I had the great pleasure of seeing the girls live this year in Austria, but without the band and high screamer Kagura, who left the group last month together with clean vocalist Ayame. As a big fan I hope they will be able to reform the group with a full four member line-up again, but it will be particularly hard to replace Kagura. Anyway thanks for the interesting reaction and review.
As I said before, your video's sound is bass heavy for some reason. Heavier than the original. No idea why. That said, I loved this review. Especially that you put your own tastes aside and acknowledge the qualities of the content you review. It's awesome to see them getting more attention and hear a musician's opinion. For context, that's my favourite band. Ever. Gets both my ears and brain going. I listen to them almost every day because of the way it drives me at work. Thank you so much for being so thorough. Keep up the good work.
Personally I like BBTS. I also appreciate your ability to be objective. They are a Japanese IDOL group (typically assembled by a label) sing and dance without playing instruments. Most groups like that are a dime a dozen. You have to bring something pretty unique to the table to get my attention. Many of the backing bands for these groups are PHENOMINAL (ie: PASSCODE). This bands vocals and musicians keep me coming back.
I was about 0.2 below guessing the score based on the merits of how you'd been talking about the actual musicianship and execution of the song DURING the song. I'm honing in on the DH Score Mechanics! 🤣
Great review as always. I totally understand the distracting aspect of this style of song. To me personally, they sometime walk the edge of what I find enjoyable, but so far have not fallen off it.
Someone described this band to me before I ever heard one song as a "heavier Hanabie" Going off on this one song..I perfer Hanabie. This isnt bad but a little to much rawwrr rawwr and grrr grr for me. Theres not much catchiness here like a Hanabie song will be

I love BBTS and am superhappy they are continuing even though two members left but I will miss Kagura´s screams and squeals.

I admit they are an acquired taste. I personally didnt care for them right away, but they quickly became one of my favorite Japanese bands.

Thank you for requesting BBTS!

I have to laugh, but the grit and growl sounds like it is being done by Donald Duck. That aside, I generally like the song.
