I think the episodes are still well-edited and the characters are still compelling, but because the power players so far this season have stuck together and not rocked the boat, the episodes have mostly lacked suspense, and a number of great characters have gone home back to back to back (including this ep). The best episodes this season IMO have been episodes 4 and 6 because in those episodes' tribals, you actually got a sense that anything was possible and that anyone who didn't have immunity had a chance of going home. I'm still holding out hope that this season increases the unpredictability factor in the coming weeks. Goodbye to Queen Morgan! As Josh said in his voting confessional, you were a cool cat, and I appreciated you making things so lively with your presence! I hope the girls who voted with Morgan this week (Ange and Abbie) can somehow survive deep in this game. Ange probably has the best chance since she did shore up her relationship with Santi this week and tried to build a bridge to Sadie and Doug as well. Abbie has much less of a chance because I'm not seeing much strategy out of her or her roomie Dale Aram, but I do like Abbie's understated humor and want to see her go as far as possible. Looking forward to next week!
The one thing that's keeping Doug interesting for me is how sloppy his game has been, yet he still somehow manages to keep complete control on the entire game.
pff, whatever. if everyone had played in their own best interest she probably woulda stayed! and her quotes were great throughout too. Anyway, I think you're replying to Jasmine from this season, so... put some respect on her name! ;)
Morgan was robbed!! SO ANGRY. Hope Ange slays everyone and wins. I really hope the power players get eliminated but everyone else seems to just let them be in power which is lame.
I may be the only commenter rooting for the overdog (Doug) because if he keeps dominating despite some adversity (ie eric, 3-4/6-8 swap) it has a chance to be the strongest winning game in college survivor so far. Still a long way to go but kinda want to see that play out, sorry to the lovers of big movez :)
First off, Hats off to Morgan. She played hard, recognized her position, recognized who to talk to too and called out those in power (even if not entirely correct). This felt very DvG merge because like Elizabeth in that season, Morgan really had no shot of staying, but she tried. Also Amanda continuing that Nicole F energy and scheming while voting out all the girls.
If I recall correctly, I think the only seniors this season are Teresa, Mike, and Morgan. So if any of those three were to return, S8 would be the last chance to do so.
Another interesting episode of Survivor Maryland which I think is another episode which could hopefully set up more interesting gameplay later on. I think it is really interesting how at least to me as a viewer that Doug is in a commanding position but players in the game do not see it as clearly and those that do know they can't do much about it and are aligning with him. I feel like the only hope for Doug to have a downfall is from someone close to him like a Sadie or a Santi. I have started to think of potential other winners in case Doug does not win which I still think is the likely scenario. Sadie or Santi I think have a chance if they can orchestrate Doug's downfall but I just feel like we haven't heard them trying to set anything up with Doug not involved that I don't think it is likely. Early on I though maybe Tim may start to rise now we are at merge and he could try and form something with Amanda but when he said he thinks he is playing the best game and would win if the vote was at the merge and we haven't really seen things to support that in the edit so far that I think Tim is likely not winning. Amanda has I think some good reads but her target level could be growing as more people see her as expendable but if she can skate by a couple rounds could be interesting. Ange could have the underdog story as someone on the outs and I feel like we see a lot of the Ange-Santi connection that there could be more to that later such as Santi getting Ange's trust to blindside Doug but consistently seeing her think he doesn't want to work with her makes me think that might not be the case. I feel like Josh seems like an ok player and seems to be part of what I think could be the core alliance of himself, Doug, Santi and Sadie but I feel like he was so invisible early on he isn't the winner. The merge episode I also feel is crucial for a winner's edit that we hear at least some significant stuff from the eventual winner that I don't think Dale Aram, Dain or Abbie could be that person. Ultimately, I am just hoping we get some sort of shake up as right now sticking with the status quo is absolutely the right move for some but it is kind of boring to see. Hopefully we can get some fireworks towards the end! Favorites: 1. Santi 2. Ange 3. Dale Aram 4. Josh 5. Doug Winner Contenders: 1. Doug *BIG GAP* 2. Sadie 3. Santi *SMALL GAP* 4. Amanda 5. Ange
At this point gotta say ange is my favorite. Things have been pretty predictable so far but in survivor you never know what’s gonna happen.. Maybe Eric Liam Mike coming back from EOE???? 😍
O cheiro de podre, meu deus. Que decadência, quem aguenta essa essa aliança majoritária extremamente entediante. Só Ange salva. Queria torcer pra Dale Aram, mas ela é muito inerte
Is the merge color always black? 😂
I just realized-Josh is having a Halloween party, it’s Fall 2016, that means next week is...uh oh.
Imagine how tired we are
This boot order is roughhhhh.
I hope Morgan returned for all-stars!

Very much agree. This season is a huge step up from the last one in the editing department. Just sucks that the boot order has been what it has.
Sadie, Santi, Abbie, Amanda, Ange, Dain, Dale Aram, and Doug should form an alliance called SSAAADDD
This week on “Watching Doug Steamroll through Survivor Maryland”
For real tho lmao, I just keep hoping that eventually someone will make a move on him but idk
Sooo... this is Doug's season, huh?
Doug is playing one of the most dominant social games I’ve ever seen, and...no one cares? That is some serious skill you can’t teach.
The one thing that's keeping Doug interesting for me is how sloppy his game has been, yet he still somehow manages to keep complete control on the entire game.
I know this is filmed in 2016 but there’s definitely a part of my brain that goes into panic mode hearing someone dry cough at a Halloween party
The title quote describes my feelings towards the outcome of the episode.
VICTORIA SIGHTING (one bright spot in the episode lmaoooo)
Where was that in the video?
@@DrKermit giving out the cube right before the challenge lolll
the 8 person alliance is getting boring and someone is gonna regret not using Ange and Morgan as extra votes to strike first
I’ll take college survivor with a predictable boot order over regular Survivor because you still see the effort from production.
Ange is so woke I really hope she goes far
Doug could very well take this one home! He’s powered through adversity and doesn’t seem to be losing control just yet.
robbed queen
How? She did nothing that stood out this entire game. 'robbed queen' is such an overused phrase.

Jasmine and Morgan robbed queens!
@@joshuanance8695 I guess having a fun personality and going against the grain means nothing
you said what had to be said
Nice editing moment: 30:38 Morgan is fixing her earrings while talking to Doug, cut to Morgan fixing her earrings while talking to Santi.

Damn we really waited a year and a half for this

I'm perfectly okay with none of them coming back
Morgan & Mike are awesome, I’d personally like to see if Mike experienced the character growth of seeing all the Harry Potter movies

Maybe Eric Liam Mike coming back from EOE???? 😍
Another great episode, queen Ange is the best! Can't wait to see the majority turn on each other. I think Santi is in trouble.
bring back mike!
this season has made me sad
If Liam, Eric, and Mike come back for all stars then at least something good came out of this season

This season is highkey not good. Sorry to the people who worked so hard to produce this. Editors aren't miracle workers lol
