That is Eddie! My hubs got me into Iron Maiden. He’s been a fan since he was a child. We live in South Florida and have been to the drummer - Nicko McBrain- restaurant Rock N Roll ribs and to two of their shows in Fort Lauderdale. I love rock and metal, I love everything music in general but I wasn’t sure I would feel comfortable at their shows. Wow I was so wrong! Some of the best fans and the band puts on a helluva show! Iron Maiden made me a fan and totally got my respect! Up the Irons! (I think my hubs shed a tear the first time I said that lol)
Anything from Maiden Rock In Rio is phenomenal. Heard it first in high school 2005 and haven’t turned away since. One of the ultimate concerts ever in history.
When thinking about Stevie Nicks you think of Fleetwood Mac. She shared lead duties with many. So to me Bruce is more iconic for his role in Iron Maiden.
Eddie has gone thru many incarnations. Yes he did have long hair on the Killers and Number of the Beast album covers and then with '83s Peace of Mind, they started to depict him balding or no hair at all in some cases. My personal favorite is from the Somewhere in Time cover where he's all cyberpunk'd out. Edward the Great is another really good one where he looks supremely regal. Also gotta get to Aces High, Two Minutes to Midnight and one of my favorites, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner
That was Eddie - or at least one version of him. He's undead/unliving immortal. He can show up forever and take many forms. Iron Maiden does live performances like no others. I just saw them last Sept and they're over 60 years old still doing these crazy antics. They're on tour again and I plan to go see them in 24 when they come state side.
Great job guys! Eddie has taken on many forms since they began. Initially, it was a man wearing a mask, but evolved into a 10 ft robotic Eddie. I have had the pleasure of seeing almost every form of Eddie, since 1983. YESSS, that far back and YESSS, I'm that old. 😅 UP THE IRONS🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
This was one of my fathers favorite Maiden songs. He would always play this live version this must be rock in Rio. Thankfully he took me to see them back in 2012 i still have the ticket 😁
I live in Eugene Oregon and just saw Avenged Sevenfold up in Portland at the motor center couple months ago and was talking to a young college student going to the U of O that came from California and has seen Metallica iron maiden Judas Priest and travels all over and he said iron maiden was bad ass and just saw tonight that iron maiden is coming to Portland next October! I am going!!!! 💪💪
That is Eddie their mascot. He appears in different ways at every show. You have the original Eddie. For the Power slave tour, he was the whole backdrop and his arms actually reached out into the crowds.
They've got a bunch of different Eddies for different eras. They're usually big ole robots being controlled by a guy with a remote control, side stage. Watching him and Janick Gers battle onstage is always a fun part of the show. Fun fact: In the video for Number of the Beast ('82), current drummer Nicko McBrain appears dressed up as the devil. He replaced Clive Burr as the drummer not long after that. The reasons are too long to go on about here. Have a Google at it if you're curious.
I don't know if anyone has pointed this out but Bruce is a licensed pilot. They have a huge jet like a 737 that he pilots and flies the band from show to show. Pure Badass!!
You should react to Iron Maiden’s The Clansman from Rock in Rio when you guys get to the finals.Yes…Bruce is the Greatest frontman of All Time.Up the Irons!
"Sea Of Madness" is such an underrated Maiden song, Somewhere In Time is an underrated Maiden album in general! The whole album is a banger from start to finish!
I used to drink and hang out with these guys in our local pub The Ruskin Arms. I even played football ⚽️ (soccer) with Steve Harris for an amateur team, they were really cool guys. The best thing about Iron Maiden is that they have stayed true rockers and they have stayed really good, humble guy's. Up the Irons ⚒️
Eddie is the band's mascot since the debut. Think along the lines of Michael Myers from Halloween or Jason from Friday the 13th for a good comparison in that it's played by different people. Bruce has been the voice for Maiden for the past 40 years. Even though he's in his 60s, his vocals and stage presence are still some of the best. They've released 17 studio albums with the first two with their original lead singer. Anything from Number of the Beast to Fear of the Dark and Brave New World to the most recent album has Bruce singing.
You can actually see Eddie's transition with every album cover since the first Iron Maiden album......when I Eddie was discovered. Crazy killer in the city than kept evolving. Anyway, the guys in Maiden have always had a cool sense of humor. They are a really fun band playing great music about subjects people can be a little shocked by. I saw them several times in the '80s and 90s. Killer live band.
I'd honestly prefer you guys do live stuff from their Flight 666 DVD instead whenever possible. Rock in Rio is cool and all, but Flight 666 has better video/audio quality and the crowd is louder.
Freaking love Iron Maiden, up the irons 🤘🤘. You guys gotta check out more Pre Bruce Dickinson Iron Maiden, can you guys please check out "Strange World" from their first album next time? That song hits you in the feels big time and the guitar solos are beautiful, it's in my Top 3 Iron Maiden songs!! Great reaction as usual guys! 🤘🤘🤙🤙
@All3coasts thank you for your kind words, I'm doing well. I had surgery on my toes (both feet) about 3 weeks ago to straighten out my hammer-toes (toes that are bent downwards or crooked). The surgery went well and my recovery is going better than I expected, I'm really hopeful that fixing my toes means I won't have anymore infections like I've been dealing with. I appreciate you checking in on me, how are things going with you?
Especially with older bands, album versions are a must. Love versions aren't clear enough to hear how the song SHOULD sound. It's perfect on the album Trash Talkers
The studio version really shows them off.The visual of their show can “distract” you from the song, as is the case with Eddie. But thanks for coming back to Maiden.
Some of the patreons fans should make them watch like a documentary on bands. Like maiden history is so good. The multiple eddies, paul diano, bruce dicknson, having 3 guitarist...etc
Eddie has about 50 multiple forms check the artwork it is amazing From phantom of the opera 2 ways to Wasted years.. Aces high. I had so many posters in my college dorm room
cool stuff right there.. AND speak of Eddie. HE changes from time to time.. he is timelss. The one you guys have I think is from the number of the beast era. Well thanks for this one and to step on the next one.. IM NOT sure of u done it. But rime of the ancient mariner from the album powerslave. OR aces hight from the same album would be nice
For a the Piece of Mind album they shaved Eddie's head and put him in a straight jacket. On the tour when Eddie came out Bruce would open his skull and take out his brain! I was front row center stage for the show and briefly had Eddie's brain in my hand. It was pretty cool!!!
Hi Hollywood and Smokey, I just wanted to let you guys know that an amazing female fronted Progressive Death Metal band called Vintersea just dropped a new song called "At The Gloaming Void". The song is an absolute banger! Can you please check it out? There have been a few people suggesting Vintersea for quite a while now, you don't have to worry about it getting blocked with Vintersea so you should be fine. Thanks guys! 🤘🤘🤙🤙
jesus, they don't even know the title of the song correctly in the beginning...."the evil men that do" ....instead of "The Evil That Men Do" ....pathetic
Eddy is ever evolving and changes with every album and videoclip in appearance, I love Eddy !
Bruce is the entire package. He's called the Air Raid Siren for a reason.
the human air raid siren
Anything from Maiden Rock In Rio is phenomenal. Heard it first in high school 2005 and haven’t turned away since. One of the ultimate concerts ever in history.
When thinking about Stevie Nicks you think of Fleetwood Mac. She shared lead duties with many. So to me Bruce is more iconic for his role in Iron Maiden.
Bruce's vocals are to Maiden like Lindermanns vox are to Rammstein, not very metal sounding, but works!
I've seen this guy live. He runs MILES in his shows while singing. It's nuts! And he flies the band's 747.
Bruce is frickin' amazing!
This concert was in Brazil! Brazilians are crazy for Iron Maiden!
On Piece Of Mind, Eddie was shaved bald and the top of his cranium cut off and reattached with a hasp and lock.
the loneliness of the longdistance runner is so underrated
Oh the Somewhere in Time cover is soooooo fking fire tbh. One of their greatest album covers for sure.
What’s crazier nikco is 70 years old playing full shows
Great job guys! Eddie has taken on many forms since they began. Initially, it was a man wearing a mask, but evolved into a 10 ft robotic Eddie. I have had the pleasure of seeing almost every form of Eddie, since 1983. YESSS, that far back and YESSS, I'm that old. 😅
UP THE IRONS🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
That was Eddie...he is on every album cover of Maiden and he changes all the time
Just saw them in October 2022 and Bruce is still killin' it.
This was one of my fathers favorite Maiden songs. He would always play this live version this must be rock in Rio. Thankfully he took me to see them back in 2012 i still have the ticket 😁
"The Evil that Men Do" is taken from the William Shakespeare play,
"Julius Caesar."
Eddie was a robot btw. There's a dude backstage with a remote control. Comes in many of Eddie's reincarnations, most recently a Samurai.
I saw them live during this tour in 2000. The GREATEST concert I’ve ever seen. You guys might as well put Bruce as the top winner now!! 🤘🤘
from one of their best albums.couple hits on it,
That is Eddie their mascot. He appears in different ways at every show. You have the original Eddie. For the Power slave tour, he was the whole backdrop and his arms actually reached out into the crowds.
Iron Maiden is by far one of the best concerts you can ever see. They are insane live.
One of my favorite albums. All good ones in it, try Infinite Dreams
They've got a bunch of different Eddies for different eras. They're usually big ole robots being controlled by a guy with a remote control, side stage. Watching him and Janick Gers battle onstage is always a fun part of the show.

Unfortunately not now. Apparently the UK aged him out of his commercial pilots license.
It was 757's & once a 747.
Aces High gotta happen for you guys at some point. The official video captures the song perfectly. 🔥 energy!!!
Planet Rock voted them as The Best Heavy Metal band of ALL times, that is some brutal company they are in with to come top says it all.
You guys are 2 of the best! You Have to do Bob Dylan it's alright MA I'm only bleeding!!!!!!!
If it's the battle of the front men then you've begun with my favourite, Brucie.
You should react to Iron Maiden’s The Clansman from Rock in Rio when you guys get to the finals.Yes…Bruce is the Greatest frontman of All Time.Up the Irons!
Fuck yes. Bruce on that song is awesome but so was Blaze.
The only Maiden song I can play 100% the WHOLE SONG, INCLUDING SOLO on guitar! 🎸
Oh wait I also know 100% Sea Of Madness!
"Sea Of Madness" is such an underrated Maiden song, Somewhere In Time is an underrated Maiden album in general! The whole album is a banger from start to finish!

Btw, on this live version they were playing this song way faster than in studio album
Really recommend their “en vivo” performance
The Evil That Men Do, is from Shakespeare.
Ive seen Maiden live back in 2019 with my wife and son. It was an experience
Caught Maiden live here in Austin a few months ago. Damn! They are so good live!
You can actually see Eddie's transition with every album cover since the first Iron Maiden album......when I Eddie was discovered. Crazy killer in the city than kept evolving. Iron Maiden is the greatest live metal band.
" Who plays Eddy ? " But guys...
...Eddie is real and alive. Beware... Up the Irons !🤘
Bruce = GOAT
Freaking love Iron Maiden, up the irons 🤘🤘. You guys gotta check out more Pre Bruce Dickinson Iron Maiden, can you guys please check out "Strange World" from their first album next time? Trash Talkers
We have many eddies according to the theme. And he appears on stage. ESP the title Song The İron Maiden. İt s an amazing appearance all time
Eddy comes in different forms, every album there is a new version of him.
The studio version really shows them off.The visual of their show can “distract” you from the song, as is the case with Eddie. But thanks for coming back to Maiden.
I’m glad this one hit my feed in time to count my vote. Bruce is my favourite frontman, by far.
Some of the patreons fans should make them watch like a documentary on bands. Like maiden history is so good. The multiple eddies, paul diano, bruce dicknson, having 3 guitarist...etc
Moonchild next, one of my favorites live performances, stevies bass is insane!!
But the one from the Live after Death Tour!!!!
@@christianoyarceaviles8296 flight 666 is my favorite, but they are all amazing!!

You guys need to check out The Clansman live from Rock in Rio, Maiden and Bruce at their best.
The evil that men doooo lives on and onnnnnnnn
Eddie has about 50 multiple forms check the artwork it is amazing From phantom of the opera 2 ways to Wasted years.. Aces high. I had so many posters in my college dorm room
That WAS Eddie! You should do the Trooper live from 2017 or newer cause Bruce fights him with a calvary saber! 🤘😈
Please do The Godz Rock and Roll Machine, It will blow you away..
There are thousands of Eddies!! 😂
cool stuff right there..

The evil that men do. Not the evil men that do
Gotta love the galloping sound of Iron Maiden
The studio version really shows them off. But thanks for coming back to Maiden.
Para mim a melhor banda heavy do mundo
You should do Sylosis - Deadwood and the new Cradle of Filth - She Is a Fire!
Hi Hollywood and Smokey, I just wanted to let you guys know that an amazing female fronted Progressive Death Metal band called Vintersea just dropped a new song called "At The Gloaming Void".

Eddie changes from album to album. On each cover there is a different incarnation.
Yep, Eddie has went through a lot of changes.
& also:
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
☘️💚🍀
This song is freaking awesome!
C’mon guys, at least read the song title properly
Happy St. Patrick’s day ☘️💚🍀
Try a game called Legacy of the Beast... It will show you a lot of different Eddies...
The many different faces of Eddie on every album and tour
Respect for Paul Di'Anno first frontman of the Band but now especially for the mid nintees singer Blaze Bayley !
Try the solo album of Bruce Dickinson, they are franckly good too 😉
" UP THE IRONS! "
🤘🏻😸🤘🏻
" DUECES! "
✌🏻😸✌🏻
Iron Maiden. Simply the best 🤘
YEAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Bruce Dickinson. Yes, THE Bruce Dickinson.
That was definitely Eddie, he changes a bit over time. Up The Irons!
THERE'LL NEVER BE ANOTHER BRUCE AND EDDIE IRON MAIDEN
UP THE IRONS🤘🤘
This whole album is a storyline line Tommy from the Who. My favorite album is Peice of Mind.
Yep that was Eddie he makes an appearance now and again.
Eddie looks slightly different nearly every album cover. He is constantly evolving.
that was the ED Hunter version of Eddie
GAME OVER!
That is one of the many of Edward The Great
Bruce is a trained opera singer
🤘🔥🤘
Dame dudes. I'm trying to catch up. Well here we go...
Y'all should do Wrathchild from Rock in Rio.
if you played Carmageddon, you know iron maiden is not safe to drive to.
Iron Maiden request please
Iron Maiden - Revelations Flight 666 The Concert
jesus, they don't even know the title of the song correctly in the beginning...."the evil men that do" ....instead of "The Evil That Men Do" ....pathetic
Simple mistake… I wouldn’t let it upset me too much 😊
perfect ❤
Lana Del Rey is the greatest female vocalist of all time. If you know, you know !!!
Evil that men do is the best compliment I've heard. thank you gay boys.
That might have been the 7th son of The 7th son of Eddie ...good intuition! ... Check out that album cover...he and his son are abominations
Eddie has many different forms
I love Bruce, but look at that songs done by the other two Iron Maiden singers. As they don't get as much as Bruce dose.
You should react to No Way by Korn
