    Randy your show is by far tops above any other show out there. You have inspired myself and my newphew to go into places that we never thought we get by foot by watching your show you have inspired us both to get to the places where the other 90% of hunters don't go.

    • @Fresh_Tracks

    I stumbled upon your channel last week and I gotta say Mr. Newberg, your show is probably my favourite hunting show around. I admire your hunting style. How you show such great respect for animals and you're not one of those guys who are going around trying to shoot animals at 1200 yards. You keep it very ethical and I have huge respect for that. Keep up the good work! 👍🏼

    Randy, I've just run across your videos recently and thoroughly enjoy your videos. I am an Arizona native and have been hunting public lands for many years all over the state, although due to the recession and loss of jobs had to put it aside for the past 10 years, hope to start back up in 2020. I appreciate your love of hunting, the respect of the animals, and the right to a challenging hunt on public land. I have never hunted private land but it doesn't seem to be as challenging when you are using attractants, blinds, etc. I know you addressed the area you were hunting in a previous post, but you could use northern Arizona for the Kaibab Plateau, the Strip, and the Vermillion Cliffs and the Mogollon Rim for the area north of Payson between Strawberry and Heber-Overguard, these are large areas of rugged land with many hunt units which would be hard to decipher where you are exactly. Look forward to watching in 2020.

    I've never been hunting in Arizona! I've always thought it would be too hot down there but that looks like some awesome elk hunting!! Great job Randy!! Great video! You're a nice guy just like me, It was cool that you were happy about those other guys who shot the bulls, that you were chasing!! Great sportsmanship!! To bad more outdoorsman are not a lot friendlier like you!! I was born in Whitefish & raised in Eureka Montana than Trego, Kalispell, Missoula, a Libby & than Plains & Thompson Falls most of the time & still have a place in Libby. I have helicopter logged all over Montana, as well as the rest of the northwest but There's no other place like quite like Montana & nothing like the clean smell of Montana!!

    Randy - love the podcast and the videos. Heard of you from an avid hunter friend and you are talking about exactly what I'm doing. I got my first Colorado Elk tag last year and got another this year, both cow tags. I didn't get (or even see) an elk last year (GMU 82, 3rd rifle), but I had a great time and learned a lot. And I've learned a lot since listening and watching your stuff since that hunt. This year I pulled a GMU 11 cow tag in the first rifle season and I hope to do better. But man - everyone focuses on Bulls. I get it, they've got antlers. But I'm not in it for the trophy, I'm in it for the hunt, the experience, and the meat. So can I ask that you - just once - dedicate a podcast to the hunting specifics for cows? I know, no one's ever satisfied. Thanks and keep up the great work!!

    • @Fresh_Tracks
      @Fresh_Tracks  7 лет назад

      Thanks for following along. That would be a short podcast. It would be this - "No matter the season, the state, or the location, you will find cows where the best food exists. THE END." Point being, finding cows is very easy compared to finding bulls. Cows have one primary need; stay with the best food throughout the entire year, moving as the food quality moves. Find the best food in the first rifle season and you will find the cows. Good luck.

    • @Fresh_Tracks
      @Fresh_Tracks  7 лет назад +3

      We say it was northern Arizona and that is about as precise as we get. If we give specific units or areas, it causes changes in application strategy and hunting pressure, which is not fair to those who hunt/apply to those areas every year.
      Hope that makes sense. Thanks for watching.

  • @joepayne1530

    I hunt Colorado. I put in for the nonresident draw every year. Years I don't draw I do OTC elk hunts. How does someone go about applying for tags in say AZ, NM, or MT? Can I do the same OTC hunt that I do in CO?

    • @Fresh_Tracks
      @Fresh_Tracks  6 лет назад

      Search our videos. We have videos about applying in all those states. Those three states do not have the same OTC options that Colorado has.

    • @joepayne1530
      @joepayne1530 6 лет назад

      Thank for the great videos and for your response. I will look at other videos on applying in those states. So, are these other states similar to CO's apply and draw process? Are my chances good at drawing most years?
