I was stationed at Camp Pendleton back in the 80’s when I was in the Marine Corps, Oceanside was the town right off base. It looked nothing like this, in fact I would often see “Oceanside should be declared a free-fire zone” written on the walls of the Port-A-Jon’s on base 😂.

Oceanside has changed dramatically just within the last few years especially with the 2 new beachfront hotels! I hope you enjoyed the video and learned a lot from watching.

Honestly... coming from somebody who grew up in north county and lived in Oceanside for over 20 years, I kind of miss the seaside slum it used to be as crazy as that sounds. At least back then and had a lot of character now it's just overcrowded with a bunch of hipsters. Gentrification at its best. Trying not to offend anybody just my opinion.
