So here is a really easy way to make clothes for any character for Daz or any other program or character. From beginning to end, I take the most basic way possible so anyone can do it. This is a complete noob look at making clothes and you can explore as far as you want. This tutorial can be done completely free if you use Blender and Quixels from epic.
I hope this helps.
Thanks for watching:)
Fantastic tutorial! Genuinely have saved me weeks of trial and error.
I've been creating clothing for characters in CC3 and CC4 for years using the same process kind of. Marvelous designer to Zbrush to Substance before correcting it all back in CC4. But recently made the jump to Daz/Blender and was worried I couldn't use the same process there; and after literal weeks of searching found nothing online supporting that it'd be possible. Yet the whole last 10 minutes or so of your video was everything I'd be looking for laid out nice and easy to follow. Thanks for the help!!
Awww that’s amazing to hear :) thank you. Warms the heart . I’m glad it helped and this right here is the reason I do these. Thank you :)
Thanks for the video. It got me through my lunch break. This process almost seems similar to Marvelous Designer in a way. Pretty cool
Shit this vid was supposed to come out tomorrow HA HAHAHA. Nice one my man. Im glad you enjoyed it. Yeah real easy. Have a great weekend if we dont chat:)
@imagineeverything lol, Ari was messing about in your YT Studio. Smack him around a bit mate. Have a great one 🍻
Bloody Ari:) U to mate:) @@jcultist4715
Thanks for a great tutorial. Very helpful.
Thank you mate :) welcome to the channel :)
You make this look easy :) I tried Marvellous Designer for a few months but found that loose clothing was always so difficult to get to work with poses in Daz. The Transfer utility would convert them but I couldn't figure out all the weight painting adjustments which needed altering and then all the morph alterations and corrections which were needed if joints went beyond a certain point. All very complicated and my hat goes off to the PA's who do all this with their clothing models!
Hello big man:) how are you? Yeah I know what you mean. Ill do a tut in the future about dynamic clothes and how to get what your after. Its not to bad. Just gotta know a few of them buttons:) Normal clothes however as you can see can be very easy to do. Just takes time to make em look good. Something I didnt do in this tutorial:) HA
@@imagineeverything I see there was a new Daz add-on called Seamster which is meant to help organise the weight mapping and morph workflow but the whole process seems quite complex ;) (Till you've done it a few times I guess)
@@kibosh-art Yeah looks cool but If you use maya or blender then Id rather do it there:) But those that dont yeah seems pretty cool:) Expensive though
lol u had me cracking up the whole time LOL U FUN TO WATCH, yo u do video chats? i need a tutor where i can have someone help guide me thru and i can screen share and they help . If u do
What’s up mate:) thanks for this . Really nice of you to:) I used to lecture but now I am working full time and a lot . Do t really find time to do much else. Even these vids I need to get out fast:) but let me know if you have any questions on art etc and I can always try do them in some vids for you and on here :) stay well mate and welcome to the channel :)
I've literally never used anything besides Daz. And am having trouble with Blender. Is there anyone who used blender for this that can go through it step by step(How to duplicate, unparent, and so on)?
Hello mate :) I’ve actually been meaning to do one with blender but it could take a while. In the meantime there are a lot of tutorials on blender on how to parent, unparent, cut etc. check em out and hopefully I’ll have a tut up next year :) happy new year :)
subbed within the first 2 minutes because you made me laugh LOL thank you
Hey thank you mate:) Its always nice to see people enjoy them:) I appreciate it all
The process of creating that shirt looked very tedious in Maya. I tried it in Blender and all steps (selecting, extending, sculpting) took my only 1-2 minutes, and I'm not a Blender expert. So it seems that Maya is somewhat complicated when it comes to create stuff from scratch.
And I also did it with G3 because G8 and G9 are too slow on my system.
I didn't know one can drag and drop files into the surface slots of DS. So that was a neat tip.
And the way this shirt is created it has the same topology as the Genesis figure, and that's why it won't have weird bends when the character is posed.
Good tutorial.
Blender , maya yeah they all the same. I tried to go a bit slow so we see the steps but yeah use what you like and what you enjoy:) Yeah topology is a nice one for this. Thanks for the comment mate:) have a good weekend.
Parabéns, excelente material!!!
Obrigado meu amigo ♥

Sorry, not sorry...
40 seconds in, you already lost me.
The first frame of entire text, I'm yelling at my screen "No! It's one of THOSE videos! It's 2024! Buy a f*king microphone!" Before I could click off, you ACTUALLY start talking "Oh... I guess it's NOT one of those videos?" And then you TELL me this is going to be the best tutorial on the internet... right...
Well, you already lost my attention and pissed me off in 40 seconds. Let's see how it goes from here...
🤦🤦♂️🤦♀️
Dynamite!
THanks my man:)
