- Star Wars Battlefront 2 is one of the best games I've played this year. I was so late to this game due to the bad press it got at the time but the experience is so good for one reason - the game is based around fun.
I would recommend that anyone should pick up Star Wars Battlefront 2 in the Steam sale and this gameplay should demonstrate why the game is so good.

I guess other players were playing as the special characters. The co up mode against bots is really good to level up your soldiers and special characters
if you double tap crouch in a direction you can roll :-D and you couldn't be a hero/villain because each team can only have two or three & they were already in play
U need 4k pts 2 play a hero, and only 2 heroes of each team can be on the field unless u in co-op (pve mode) or heroes vs villians/hero showdown (jedi only modes), theres mayb 1 or 2 modes u can bave 4 heroes in, but eithernway wen u tried 2 be hero none were available btw u can keep ur gun from overheating by pressing R b4 the bar fills, and wen u overheat click while the bar is in the blue 2 finish reload faster, and if u click while its gold u get a boost where ur gun wont heat up for a bit, the 1 shot sniper is headshots only and its the 1 on the far right that needs like 400 sniper kills 2 unlock
In galatic assault, each team can have maximun of 2 heros, on the final stage, each team can have four heros, so you need to get 4k points faster than other people to grab a hero, or wait till they die to get one for yourself.

There are active reloads in Battlefront! Pay attention to the reload bar.

Ok, so on this game you can equip a few cards that will give you a few abilities like a grenade, a personal shield, etc… There’s 4 classes and each has its own set of card. When you play you gain points that you can then trade for a Jedi, a vehicle or a special character for one life. You can change the cards on the main menu or before respawn, cant remember
Also, guns will overheat when you fire them. Since they are laser guns, there’s no reload to be done, you can cool the gun down faster if you click the right button. Look for the bar that appears below the sight while you shoot. If you press the right button on the blue line, the gun while cold down immediately. If you do it on the orange line, it will keep itself cold while you shoot, so you can shoot more. If you miss this marks, you will be forced to wait for a full cold down, even if there’s only one second left
If your looking for a gun with one hit kill potential, your going to whant to try the NT-242. And if youre looking for ways to have even more fun, you could always try unlocking the explosive shot. Fantastic vid as alwayse Will!
The special characters have to be available to use. If someone else is using it then they become non-selectable. Loving the Star Wars content, get such a nostalgic feeling from it. Hope you had a great Christmas!
In the menu you can go and inspect your unlocks for each unit - this allows you to check what their abilities and weapons (for elite units) do.
Make sure to check your cards and equip as you unlock.
Special characters are limited in no. per side so if others have them you have to wait for them to die in order to be able to pick.
Combat roll more - it provides invulnerability frames. Very important, especially when you have a special character. This is easier in 3rd person. Whilst in 3rd person get in the habit of switching camera/shoulder depending on angle that you're attacking. There are some single player training/challenge modes that'll allow you to practice - e.g. blocking with light sabers, you'll want to have some handle on this to not get ruined when you do get a special char.
There are more powerful snipers and other weapons but you have to grind on each class.

I still play this game to this day. It's my go to when I get bored of other games. Loving the recent content Will keep it up.

The quickest way to grind out anything in BF2 is through the Co-op game mode as all multi-player milestones can be completed in it even though you'll be fighting against waves of bots in a rush like gamemode. Milestones are progressive challenges that reward you with XP and credit boost as well as weapon unlocks, weapon attachments and some cosmetics. Within the co-op gamemode you are also practically guaranteed to play as a hero some point during the match as there are 4 heroes available and a max of 4 players per match.
The first sniper you unlock with one hit kill POTENTIAL is the IQA-11 which is basically a space L96A1 with one shot headshots on base health grunt classes.
Unfortunately blaster progression is linear so you will have to unlock every sniper class blaster, with the exception of the cycler rifle, before you get the NT-242 which is just a space barret and performs how you would expect a space barret to perform, even with the option of explosive anti-armor rounds.
Do keep in mind that battlefront has alot of nuisances compared to battlefield like its active reload system, dodge rolling, and lightsaber parry mechanics with stamina systems. Like battlefield, some weapons perform better at range under tap to fire while others stabilize after continuous fire at range.
Luckily instant action is available to play offline against bots so you can get accustomed to the mechanics rather than being fed to the dogs as there is a decent learning curb and skill gap to these mechanics on top of being at a disadvantage from not having your star cards unlocked and upgraded.
I do recommend trying out starfighter combat as well as it is a really solid experience. Vehicle mechanics were developed by Criterion and are polished enough that they stand out in their own experience.
Oh and the NT-242 is the closest you'll get to a one shot sniper. Have to hit them head shots 😉 also remember you have to unlock attachments by doing certain milestones with that weapon. Yli recommend Dual zoom and improved cooling mods for faster reload charging between shots

If you overheat your weapon, you can insta cool down if you press the shoot button while the little bar is on the blue part. The gold part will give you an extra 30-40 seconds of shoot time without overheating
Very nice video. I actually played the game on release and then quit it but now that I have a new pc I’m gonna try it again and 100% it on steam

One of the best tips i can give for this game is dodge roll. A LOT. When moving around it makes you harder to hit. You also get i-frames from hero abilities during a roll if you time it right so its kinda like dark souls with bad net code. 😄
This brings back great memories from the original Battlefront on PS2, put ticket count to max and me the mates would play all day!

You should try 3rd person for regular troopers, it’s much better than 1st person imo

Dude° ! I am so glad you found this game. But i can NEVER find actuve lobbies. Hopefully it gets more traction.
I dont know the key on keyboard but there is a button to show what each of your character's skill does in the selection menu
You can unlock new weapons for each of the msin 4 classes by getting a certain amount of kills with that class
20:10 you have to wait on the character select screen for about 5 seconds for the Hero class units to become available, just click on one and you'll see
if you tap the fire button when the gun cooldown line hits the blue or yellow section, it will bypass the cooldown
Oh by the way when your weapon overheats and the red bar shows up, click when its on the blue or yellow because you can use the gun again faster
Take the nt-242 for 1 hit kill on the head but you gotta grind the kills id recommend going farm in coop cuz your agaisnt bots, then for the heroes its very annoying cuz you gotta wait to pick it like example the jets in bf 2042 😂 smt it aint available. And Little thing those arent tickets it the number of troops left

There is a one hit sniper called the NT-242 and you get it by getting 400 kills as a specialist
I've been playing this game since the beta. If they ever patched in actual stats/hours played into the game i think I'd be very embarrassed😅. Played really only from 16-20. I'm 23 now. I feel old🙃

I absolutely love this gsme, but there is not a single server full at any time in Australia. So disappointing!
There is a one shot head shot sniper in the game but you need to grind 400 specialist kills in order to unlock it.

You can’t be a Jedi if someone is alive and playing them at that moment. You have to wait in the character selection screen until the person playing as them dies.
Next time I come here ‘Star Wars Battlefront 2 for the THIRD time ever!!’ Video will be out and Will, will be hookswinging, jump choking and fancy choking, parrying in duels, parrying abilities (like grievous claw rush), using yoda’s middle ability to escape Vaders chokes, as he goes 15-0 against max levels of HVV. ;)
I don't really care about star wars but that's a really cool map design where it looks just completely featureless from the topside.
