2014 Cancer survivor here - My opinion: Only eat 2 meals a day, within 6 hours of each other. go light on carbs, almost no sweets, plenty of veggies, some healthy meat/fish protein, and some fruits. You can blow it one day each week. And definitely add one or two raw garlic cloves every evening and drink some ginger juice everyday also. Stay active, jog or swim or cycle. I hope this helps.

@@amya9597 Hey Amy - I think ground up ginger in a blender is better than ginger tea because you get a lot more of the whole ginger than in tea. And I don't know if tumeric is effective against cancer. Look up more info about tumeric. This is just my non-medical opinion. Best wishes!

True.. after you’re finished with chemotherapy you’re on your own. They won’t give you a nutritional guidelines or detailed guide on what to eat daily or not to eat. It’s like an unfinished business. You need to do your own homework to survive. I’m glad I did my own homework and I’m blessed im still alive it’s been 12 years past🙏

Going KEYO worked for me as a cancer survivor and you are satiated. No carbs - wheat, flour etc.. No sugar - no chocolate. No junk food or snacks. I also lean towards organic. I eat lots of cruciferous vegetables. I usually eat two meals a day. If I am not hungry, I don't eat. I often go one meal a day and occasionally fast. I would NEVER recommend a plant based diet - you need meat for protein - beef (steak) and seafood (Salmon, sardines etc.). Eggs are excellent too - pasture raised. I have cancer in remission in two locations so I did my homework on this. Also there are herbs that are anti cancer like curcumin in termeric - gold milk is delicious and add pepper to activate the curcumin. Extra virgin olive oil is good too but make sure it is cold pressed and not imitation extra virgin olive oil. I can't list all that I eat but wanted to add more foods that are good for you and keep you healthy. One more thing, exercise or just go for a walk. You'll feel more energized too once you incorporate this as part of your life. You don't need to go crazy with intense workouts.

I have just started following a very similar path. Fingers crossed.
I did surgery but I have declined any further treatment (radiation, chemo, endocrine). I want to use nutrition now to prevent any recurrence. I also do intermittent fasting. So I don’t eat my first meal until noon or later sometimes. I have found Dr Eric Berg, Dr Thomas Seyfried to be helpful. Fred Evrard’s story is also helpful to how i am managing my career diagnosis. I am still searching for any information about what foods increase the body’s estrogen levels. Thanks for sharing your information BB. Best wishes.

@@aubreyr790 Oh Audrey, I wish I could help you with that. I don't know what kind of cancer he has but maybe this could be helpful, if he also has
nausea. Raw ginger sliced up with fresh squeezed lemon would help with any nausea with a sweetner of your choice - vanilla creme stevia and some use raw honey. You have to play with it to season for taste and there are
many recipes for this on the web.
I I avoided chemo for one location (bladder) and went with BCG, it's an
immunology treatment that has been around for decades and it worked for me. They don't always offer it so you may have to bring it to the attention
fatigue and brain fog. It is truly toxic. It's just enough poison
to not kill you and I am not exaggerating.

targeted radiation, AFTER surgery, FACE DOWN, to avoid automaticallyhad no problems - just a slight sunburn and no real issue with fatigue. I electrolyte

    • @BubbleBurster-nv1vl
      @BubbleBurster-nv1vl 7 месяцев назад

@@aubreyr790 I don't know if anything I suggested could be helpful. I hope there is something there for you. You may want to consult an integrated or functional doctor. They are MD's but also look closely at diet and can offer the drug approach or natural approach.
If he is on chemo, it dries you up inside and outside so I loaded up on omega 3's. That helped. Radiation is more targeted for dry skin so I used an
aloe calandrya cream and skipped the prescription cream and that worked out very well.
Give your dad lots of love and any time you can. The emotional support is really needed. He needs you and he can trust you to be looking out for him and not just an assembly line patient. Go to his appointments with him, if you can. Being diagnosed with cancer is overwhelming and if you can be
there, it helps and if you have any questions, write them down. Make sure the doctors answer your questions, talk down to you and don't dance around. I would openly take notes if needed and verbally clarify my understanding if needed. They may have been through this with many
patients but for the patient, it's new. You and your dad have my love and
      prayers.

It's difficult to know if you are eating well these days if you go to your typical grocery store. Almost everything in box or container is toxic. Support your local farmers. It may be a bit pricier, but it is worth it, and if you live in a huge metropolitan area there may still be some local shops that work with farms.

    One of the best
diets I heard of was 1. NO SUGAR OR FRUIT FOR 6 WEEKS. 2. Eat no fat foods, but research amega 3 fats, plenty of green smoothies with greens, baby spinach, and salad greens etc. Chicken and fish as replacing meat. Greek yoghurt is OK but it's milk and cream and cows milk is high in hormones and cream is fattening, I would revert to berries as the best morning food. Avoid sugar and gluten containing foods, bananas, carrots, raisins, mangos - higher in fructose sugar. Avoid anything with wheat, bread, cookies, barley, oil other than Olive oil. No other toppings such as mayonnaise rather use olive oil. I would question vinegarfor some as it's acidic cgeckbup on balancing your system acid- alkaline . No alcohol, caffeine - yes, coffee, go off coffee onto cinnamon tea once a day for bowel, and other healthy teas. A boiled egg for a snack or a non high fructose fruit which are bananas, grapes, raisins, try to train your system out of snacks maybe solid protein meals. I think for that tired slump that hits us, some form of protein. This is an ongoing research. Check up on CANDIDA YEAST FUNGAL INFECTION and revert to anti candida foods causing cancer forming problems. This worked for this lady but all of us are different. Thankyou amyway

You keep saying cancer recipes for women. I pray this is not a stupid question. Here goes. My husband had a complete Bladder removal due to sage T2 . He is currently cancer-free going on for 2 years. Are these recipes good for men too?
