Definitely got everything to get this done already but I’m going to grab it to support one of my favorite producers out there. Thanks not only for the jams but just being you.
NGL the saturation and clipping on this is CRISPY with the "Pristine" oversampling kicked on. This is probably going to replace a lot of the go-to tools I was using before.
@@CroElectroStile I work in Ableton, mostly native tools. I use soft clipping a lot in the Glue Compressor but it easily goes in the "harsh" direction. The idea is very cool but you should implement auto gain match volume. Any plug-in that increases volume sounds better than the original audio… thank you.

Hey man Trying to get product support as I’ve purchased the plugin but the activation code doesn’t work. I’ve got some sessions that I wanted to use the product for and I am getting no response on your side.
Why NOBODY adjusts the output to match the original version??? Is it to sell the plugin? an A/B like this is totally pointless... of course louder is gonna be better!! duh!!
Dude, you're a sound engineer, you should know that when you increase the volume, any sound seems better. Then why don't you reduce the output signal to the original level after processing the sound with your plugin?
It's not about showing the gain match button, its about demoing the plugin with the button turned off so that there's no way we can hear what the plugin is doing and if it really improves the sound @@brodywasham8009
Its not a fair comparison...beacause the processed Signal is muuuuchhh louder....and sounds automatically better. Unfortunately there is no Demo Version for this plugin available.
This plugin seems pretty cool, but I just have to ask: whydidn't you loudness match your "wet" sound with the dry for the before and after? We all know that our ears always think louder = better, and leaving the wet sound way louder rather than lowering it back down will always make less experienced producers think the effect is 10x as good sounding as it is. I've got to be honest, I know you know whet you were doing here, and it's not cool. I'm sure you'd make a fine number of sales if you were simply honest with your marketing in this way, but would you really rather mislead customers just for a few extra bucks?
It’s not a few extra bucks we’re talking about. The “wet louder” trick is actually crucial for the majority of the sales he’ll make lol. He has to make a living and he doesn’t wanna cut corners or compromise the sales numbers with the extra “honesty” lol. Just move out of your own shoes and wear his, it’s not like you would’ve disregarded the numbers when your entire living relies on music full time.
4:42 - If you watched the video you'd answer your own question. EDIT: I also watched the demo on his site and all of his before/afters have the "Gain Matching" setting turned on.
he couldve just made a mistake and forgot to actually match the loudness with the dry and wet signal, i really wouldnt assume that he's trying to purposefully mislead customers, to me thats now just reaching. even then he showed that there is gain compensation on the plugin. but maybe i could be wrong and he is actually trying to mislead customers, i dont know for sure really

Very well, but to make a demo like this more convincing you got to compensate for the higher volume when your plugin kicks in. Yeah, so the sound gets louder, but then what?
My question is... why in tf didn't he use the gainmatch feature while he was demonstrating??? because we all know that louder always sounds better!! I really wanna cop this but this makes me skeptical I ain't gon lie!
Instantly judged, thinking it was just going to be another no skill type beat producer plugin but the fact that you used it on a break beat and got some vibe out of it made me think twice. This is cool to have all in one place with an intuitive GUI, I’d like to see a secondary knob sustain control on the transient shaper, maybe some different “color” on the saturation instead of soft medium and hard since you can drive it either way, and a different filter slopes 12/18/24/48dB buttons on the side. These would be great additions for a V2

new black friday plugin added to the list 🤝
Decap you madman!! This is cool! Keep up the great work:)
Help! FL Studio isn't recognizing this plugin as a VST, even though I could get Knock Clipper to work! Any ideas as to what is going wrong?
great UI ! so clean
Very well, but to make a demo like this more convincing you got to compensate for the higher volume when your plugin kicks in.
Yeah, so the sound gets louder, but then what?
yup, and no demo
You know it's clean when you have to rub your head in a forward motion and lean back in the chair and say yeeeeeeesh yup, dinner time
good stuff . a one stop drum strip
My question is... why in tf didn't he use the gainmatch feature while he was demonstrating??? because we all know that louder always sounds better!!
I really wanna cop this but this makes me skeptical I ain't gon lie!
hmm, what's the difference with kshmr Essentials?
Cool, although demoing without "Gain Match" will obviously make people think louder is better :) Might try the plugin one day.
this looks so easy to use. love the auto gain match. definitely has all the controls i need.
You need to gainmatch it in your comparisons
I cant find the plugin after I installed it. There was no option to choose the folder I wanted to put it in before installing. What am I missing?
These are the default install directories for KNOCK:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 (Windows)
Macintosh HD\Library\Audio\Plug-Ins (Mac)
The king himself!!!
GAME CHANGER 💎💎💎💎💎💎💎
Instantly judged, thinking it was just going to be another no skill type beat producer plugin but the fact that you used it on a break beat and got some vibe out of it made me think twice.
This is cool to have all in one place with an intuitive GUI, I’d like to see a secondary knob sustain control on the transient shaper, maybe some different “color” on the saturation instead of soft medium and hard since you can drive it either way, and a different filter slopes 12/18/24/48dB buttons on the side. These would be great additions for a V2
Thanks for the feedback. Noted!
I picked it up last Tuesday, Game changer for sure!!!
Holy drums! Aj is the best drummer i know, love is drums! Make this plugin rent to own in splice i know this is the only way for me, amazing ;)
