    After almost 30 years of pure ocd / every kinda of thought etc.. The true answer is and always will be "just dont think about it". Yes I know its easier said than done but once you bombard yourself for years on end it eventually just stops bothering you.. basically its what Ali and others call exposure. You will get enough exposure to these thoughts no matter what you try to do trust me.. it aint going away. Eventually you just stop caring and move on.

    I have tons of symptoms from OCD and I was sure I have it but between today and yesterday I haven't been reacting to the thoughts which I know is supposed to be good but now I just feel like I don't actually have McD because I'm not feeling bad about the thoughts right now and while I just feel sad and flat I'm not necessarily feeling the usual urge to blubber and cry for hours because of the thought. Is that normal? Like frequent thought I have is just the echo so to speak that I like the thought and I tried really hard to stop doing the mental compulsion of reassuring myself for telling myself no I don't but now I just feel kind of sad and it's really hard right now not to believe that I have OCD when I'm not reacting to that thought. Like I understand on a surface level that me constantly thinking about it all day is ruminating which is a symptom and I understand that I have spent a lot of time googling and rereading articles for reassurance and that too is a compulsion and a symptom so why is it that I just really feel right now like I don't have OCD?

      I have this too rn! I have really bad harm ocd about my family and at first it absolutely terrified me and I was so scared of acting on it and now because I don’t feel as scared about it I feel like I actually want to do this and that it’s not that scary to me anymore. I hate it. I just want it to go! How are you dealing with it now?

    Can a married woman leads a happy married life with her husband when she gets an o.c.d obessive compulsive disorder since 8 years around.and treatment is continue.and because of it her marital life is disturb.can she becomes a good wife for her husband so they can be a happy married couple forever inshallah?.

      Yes Except ocd thoughts and dont need to much serious about your marrige life you are good as you.as you think more that you are good wife or not ocd will work more
