Front light is definitely not for lighting up the road, but more of a "be seen" sort of light. It's super bright and focused, so it's meant to get attention of cars and others at night, but it won't do much good in lighting up the road ahead of you. Hope this helps :)

Is the dynamo only compatible with the lights seen in the Video or can it be used with other lights aswell?
Pretty sure it's a proprietary cable of some sort - I'd bet that it's only that light.
