This is the most helpful video about IF. I've tried so many times and gained more weight so I stopped. Now, that I watched this video, I'll give it another try. Thanks, Lacey!
Don't combine fats and carbs at your break fast meals or try to keep it under 35 grams of carbs. I made this mistake. Keep added sugars out completely will help with insulin resistance.
I have started my IF because I was diagnosed with insulin resistance. I understand this helps a lot and insulin resistance prevents you from losing weight. This is another reason that I'm going to try IF.
If someone has a small eating window 1 to 4 hrs and they are still gaining weight or not losing. I would check your thyroid, prolactin, testosterone, estrogen, and sugar levels. Any of these issues prevent weight loss no matter what you do. I'm a licensed medical provider.
Yeah, the problem is that when you have sleep apnea and a thyroid problem it really doesn't matter how hard you try... but I believe that it will work eventually...!
You must learn to listen to what your body is telling you. I wasn’t eating enough and I began to feel horribly hungry, weak, and miserable. So I increased my calorie intake by eating more clean food like salads, fish. Much better now!
Stress will also cause weight gain. At the hospital for my son for 2 months gained about 20 pounds. Not eating my regular foods , no exercise and just the stress of it
I'm not making ant mistakes, but it's still very hard to loose weight due to sleep apnea and thyroid issues. 😵💫 However, I can feel that my body is still changing for the better.
Amen! I thought it would be the cheapest & easiest option to loose weight, but I have not lost any weight in 2 months of mostly 18/6😡. It's not as simple as they say
Its not complicated. And it obvious, we have to eat right (clean) At first it might sound like its so impossible and what not…. But its because were used to binging on fast food and bad saturated fat… dint get me wrong I do still eat Burger king patties, but during my open window…. Other point is if I dont want loose muscle so im eating protein & exercising and i do see a huge difference on my body just my weight number is slowly decreasing…. But thats fine
This was very helpful, thank you. I realised from this video that I am not eating enough calories. I thought reducing it to 1370 would help me shed my postpartum weight but instead, I have maintained weight and haven't seen much loss.
1300 cals is NOT ago low for women who are shorter and trying to lose. She just through out a number which was irresponsible- the amount of cals u need is based on how tall you are, male or female, bone density age and activity. My TDEE is only 1500. I only lose .5 pounds a week at 1200 cals since I don’t need much.. you are NOT gaining cause you are not eating enough that is a feel good comment that has no basis in reality. Just watch survivor Show - do they all come out fatter with no food? No.
HEYYY Intermirtent fasting really works!!!! I am skinny and I always try to gain a bit of extra weight. After 3 days of loosing weight started to stabilize, and on the 7th day fat metabolism kicked in and finally my body started to make nice healthy fat and I started finally to gain weight! I am so happy
For me, my dad he recommended me fasting for my weight loss and he said since I’m still young (12-14) I should eat breakfast and a small lunch (at 10 at my school because we get to school at 7) like sandwiches, salad, ect. And a small dinner at 2 (when I get out of school) have a small but high protein dinners, and then start fasting, while still drinking water and moving/working out! So people still in school I hope this helped!
I've found that I feel fuller longer when I have lots of fiber through veggies like lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower with a normal helping of protein (6oz). Protein by itself doesn't really satiate me in the same way. The protein shakes will even make me more hungry or sick to my stomach about an hour after drinking them. I'm 6 feet, a woman, overweight, and not very active at present. However my activity level when it is high for long periods does not seem to change which foods keep me full longer. Any advice or comments? Maybe my insulin resistance is really bad. I am not diabetic or prediabetic.
I don’t think that I could gain weight while IF. I do ADF regularly, and longer fasts at least once a month, though. I’ve lost ~65 lbs since starting to regularly fast, and most of it came off in the first 2 months. I’ve maintained a semi-strict keto diet, (still like my beer and tortillas), throughout, so that has definitely helped.
I’ve been doing IF for a couple of months now and noticed a serious difference, I balance that with weight/resistance training and while I’ve noticed a difference, I’ve also noticed I’m not exactly where I’m at and I’ve been doing this since February and we’re in may now... the good thing to come out of IF is that strangely enough I don’t crave sweets anymore and if I do I resist those cravings, the times I do have a bit of a cheat snack, my blood sugar goes thru the roof and I feel lightheaded and dizzy so I know after not having sugar for a while has definitely helped me. I’m trying to cut out sugar as a whole and stick to only having so few grams a day but it’s hard when majority of what I eat in a day is fruit 😭😧😢
Some beginners automatically end up in calorie deficit even from still eating some unhealthy foods, because of a smaller eating window. Those of us that didn't automatically end up in deficit from a smaller eating window need to eat healthier and portion control.
I am health practitioner, I have been fasting 21-3 for 3 years, I am vegetarian & very healthy,in the beginning I lost weight but this year I gain 10 kilo even I eat less & exercise more !!!!!
I have 100% self control but a few days before my period I lose every well in my body to stay on my diet. I will literally over eat and really really bad food.
I did a mixture of OMAD, 16/8, 22/2, for a week. I lost 5.5lb. I stopped eating EVERYTHING that I normally eat, stopped Pepsi. Drinking water, hot tea, etc. THEN TODAY, Day 8 I had gained 1 lb. I got on the scales tonight after fasting already for 8 hours and I have gained another 2lb. At this rate I will be a helium balloon by the end of the month. I think this is what made me give up on IF a few years ago.
@butterflychaser4538 if you are eating at a calorie deficit you cannot be gaining fat, 'll just be your body holding onto water because you exercised or ate more salty foods than usual. This isn't specific to IF. It's just something to keep in mind why sometimes your weight on the scale can go up on days you've been good with diet/exercise. Make sure to take weekly averages for your weight and not day by day.
True. Even though there isn't a strict diet with intermittent fasting, it makes sense that we need protein, vitamins and the "good" fats for our body to function properly. Fasting with just junk food in between won't work.
I think my problem is I don't drink enough water and I hav been eating whatever I want after my fast like last week I wuz eating Chick fil a alot after breaking my fast thinking that there wuz nothing wrong with that bcuz I jus did a 15hr fast but now I see that I can't eat whatever I want after my fast and I should pay attention to my protein intake.
I am doing keto & eating clean. I do have some super dark chocolate & use lilly’s chocolate. I also eat raw nuts & seeds, greens & protein. I break my fasts with olives, sauerkraut, or dark 90-70% dark chocolate. I check my glucose & ketones daily. My ketones have been 2.5-3.0 regularly now. I use carb manager & it came up with the calories & macros based on my weight loss goals. sometimes it’s hard to reach it a few days I’ve gone over. I went from fasting every day 17-20 hours with a 36 hour at the end of the week to trying to fast like a girl fasting 16 or more hours a day 6 days a week & 1 day off. I’m 51 & in menopause. Since my 5 day water fast I have had issues like a rash on my legs, face breakouts, & bumps on my knuckles like some for of inflammatory issue. I work out 3 times a week but for the past few months have been dealing with plantar fasciitis & can not walk as long as I used to. That’s why I started this journey because I needed to loose weight, I was a previous binge eater & workout junkie. I got up to 188 & kept stopping sugar & lost weight but it was hard to sustain. I started IF in Nov 2023 & added keto lifestyle in Dec. 2024. I weighed 166 when I started & got to 152 but have started to gain weight & am 158. I feel lost. Can’t talk to a Dr about it because they are all about medication & don’t talk about eating or lifestyle.
cortisol can build up which leads to weight gain. Its good to take 1 day in the week and break the usual fast cycle. imo I don't think fasting should be considered a weight loss dietary plan. The main reason you should be fasting for is to break inflamation in your body, try to reduce auto immune response symptoms. I found I was Lactose intolerant after fasting for the first time. Autophagy is without doubt the main beneficiary of fasting. Weight loss can be a nice side effect.
I have done IF on and off for the past two years . Every time I resume my fast I gain a lot of weight in the first 2 weeks then the fat will melt away after that . I don’t know what causes this and it can be very disheartening .
Im doing IF since June 2020, started at 185 now I'm stuck at 157, usually I do 16:8,18:6,20:4. Doing elliptical daily, burning 500 calories on it. Still not loosing. I think I'm eating only 800 to 900 calories per day. Im feeling my body is going into storage mode. What should I do. I don't feel like eating more. I do take protein, salads. It's been 2 months I'm stuck at 157lb.
You might have to force yourself to eat more but not a bunch at the same time. Try eating 200-300 more calories in addition to what you already do and keep up the exercise(btw how long do you workout on the elliptical for?)
I had the best results when meal prepping and eating 5 small meals a day. Working out 5 times a week. Fastening did not work for me at all 😩😩😩😩 I wish it did! Because I love eating one time per day.
No, I fast and only eat a few calories a day because I have no appetite at all and am quickly full. When I do eat, it's just a few cooked vegetables with little or no butter. But I still put on weight. 😢
My BMR requirement is 1427 for my height and weight to survive. I am taking 800-1000 cal a day, but I haven't lost much doing 18-6 fast 30day today, ive lost 1.5kg. I am taking 100g protein. I have a protein shake in the morning 11am with pb toast, or eggs etc. Dinner at 4pm is protein shake, broccoli with fish or chicken breast. Sometimes I have to throw in a protein fibreone bar at 1.30pm just to hit 800-900 calories. I'm super full to eat. I workout 30min a day. Maybe because I'm diabetic its harder, but I cut out almost all carbs. I've lost 2.5" of my waist though. Tomorrow will start the 20-4.
Excuse me, first of all, I need to sorry for my English but I want to ask you some question that if I do not comfort with eating vegetable and intermittent fasting, I can loose my weight or not. Thank you.
It would be trickier, but not impossible at all. You'd like need to rely on powdered protein to really make it work without having to consume higher amounts of carbs to get the protein, but I have a video on high protein vegan options here if you wanna see some great options you could use: ruclips.net/video/2OAfDXdnieY/видео.html
Here is an idea! When I put animals on a diet because they are too fat. If their flanks are slimming off but their gut is still big. I dose them for parasites and worms. Within 3 days they slim off. Might be worth a try? 🤔
Great video! I have a situation for you… IF 21:3 on fasting exercise days. 24-hour dry fast 1 day per week Feed window: carnivore diet with a 500 calorie deficit. Exercises: 11K runs at a fat burning bpm heart rate range 2 days per week 10K runs at a fat burning bpm heart rate range 3 days per week Sleep: 8-10 hours, 5 days per week But I still gain weight!
Mike cola says you should up your calories for awhile because your body is now too used to the restriction. Check out his channel on RUclips also just type in his name he’s a fitness trainer also.
Been doing IF for a year and lost 20lbs. This month I gained 11lbs back. Still eating clean and doin 18/6 with two meals. The only thing that changed for me was two weeks ago I became nicotine free. Stopped cold turkey the smokeless tobacco. I feel great but have no idea why I have gained weight. Anyone with info or an idea I would appreciate the help.
gaining weight can be a good thing too. Youre not going to become obese if you're 18/6 lol I wouldn't worry too much. Maybe take a week off the fasting. Give your metabolism a good shake up.
I do one meal a day and it is literally cucumbers, bell peppers, celery and tomatoes with tuna. the rest of the day is coffee or water. So, something else is wrong
It sounds like you're not eating nearly enough. I'd recommend you look into your caloric intake because, if it is too low, it won't be good for healthy weight loss, either.
Lacey sister I love your videos and I'll continue too watch them forever period in the here and now I have my struggle with my memory issue s now and I need a memory focus supplement including super beets powder and that is a eye opener for energy now and I'm on my road to recovery now and I plan to do this beyond 5yrs from now
Really sophisticated. Still counting calorie. Do & don't and more rules. I do intermitten fasting for 2 months. The first month i made 5kg weight loss. Second months i got plateu. Like every people were successfully doing intermitten fasting said i have to adding more calorie because i did under 1000 calorie / day. And i do making 2500 calorie more less 3 days and still plateu. Confused.
I'm starting on my second week of if starting out 336lbs down 331lbs . Does anyone have and idea what the highest amount calories I should have to loose weight. I'm following clean eating currently and low carb
If you used roughly wms height at around 5'6 331lb You need to eat maximum of 2112 calories per day. That's how to get a 2Lb weight loss per week. At your weight it should be treated as an emergency at this point.
Hi there I just found you. You make everything so plain, thank you. I have been doing a lot of walking, drinking tons of water, eating around 1600 cal. I have done IF but stopped because I couldn’t eat enough calories. I want to do the 16:8(I started today) and I’m going to use my fitness pal n keep walking. I’m just praying I get enough calories. As long as I have 1200 cal I’m good, right? I’m 5’7 and 218lbs need to be under this by July 17th. At least 200 lbs. Is this even possible with my regimen????
Well y’all it is Feb 23 I am 212….I had made it up to 223 after my initial post. How? Started Oct 31st and had to get through the holidays🤦🏽♀️ 16:8 fasting 2 meal replacement shakes and a meal, very light snacking, 1200 calories and walking 30 min, 3-4 days per week 🙌🏽
No one on keto eats that "feeding window" shot on here. No one is eating "wraps" or french fries or burgers. It's meat, eggs, fats, green vegetables, and I eliminate all dairy. And I doubt anyone is binging on pizza after fasting. Most people who do intermittent fasting are doing keto. It would make NO sense to fast, then turn around and shove down a pizza or a fast food meal.
I was wondering if I should eliminate dairy. Seems to be what might be the reason for my recent weight gain. I've lost 50 lbs on Keto + IF and I don't want to gain it back!
Cognition NOT FOR me when I'm fasting I have the worst brain fog Can't find words Pic up the coffee pot instead of my cup and try to take drink, without thinking ....miss the doorknob when I'm reaching for it. Say the wrong words. Just the begging. So we shall see.
A lot of these "keto experts" don't work a job. Most of our jobs are stressful, and stress hormones can make you gain weight. They can also eat when they feel hungry, whereas we have to eat around our work schedules.
Body proably thought was starving and conserved. Im doin a 7day fast. That way after starvation mode it will be forced to use fat cells for energy. Everybody diff.
So let's say, for my body composition, I will ideally need 90g of protein in order to gain muscles (which is my current gym goal-to increase muscle mass). If I do IF, I eat only 2 meals a day as opposed to 3 meals a day. So, should I still focus on 90g of protein on 2 meals a day? I mean 1- it's a little difficult to consume 45g of protein per meal 2. I'm worried if I will over increase my daily calorie intake if I do that? Any thoughts/suggestions on how much should be your protein intake if u r doing IF? Can I still gain muscle mass with just 2 meals/day?Thanks once again for the amazing content! Love ur channel
GREAT question! I think this could probably be made into an entire video on how to fit your macros into your IF feeding window. The short answer is this: YES, you want to eat the macros you are targeting to reach your goals. Your body still requires the certain amount of protein, fat, and carbs, even if you consume it in less time, to build muscle. Though, i agree: it is difficult to consume that much protein -- or anything -- in such a short window -- this is actually something my husband struggles with quite a lot, since he needs to eat even more food than me lol. Personally, I use a combination of protein powder and egg whites to add in lots of super high protein options along with naturally-occurring protein from the rest of my food. I have 2 meals, but i spread those meals out across more of the time. So I break my fast with some food (like a high protein/carb meal), then have a large lunch, then a large snack after a few hours, followed by a large dinner. Let me know if that makes sense.
Maybe one day, I'll get back to making those lol, but I've chosen to focus on wellness and nutrition for the time being, considering I've already published 1000s of hours of recipe videos and recipes. Sorry you miss the new recipe content.
My personal experience is that if you're eating healthy you don't need to count calories. I did for a while to get an idea of how much I was eating, but with plenty of proteins, fats and most carbs from vegetables I felt sated after a normal meal.
This is the most helpful video about IF. I've tried so many times and gained more weight so I stopped. Now, that I watched this video, I'll give it another try. Thanks, Lacey!
Yay, I'm so happy to hear this video provided you some much needed info! :)
Don't combine fats and carbs at your break fast meals or try to keep it under 35 grams of carbs. I made this mistake. Keep added sugars out completely will help with insulin resistance.
any changes?
So now any changes?
Did you lost weight because I am also just gaining weight
The things that I appreciate the most is your speed + bottom line speech. So time friendly, simply brilliant! Thank you!
I have started my IF because I was diagnosed with insulin resistance. I understand this helps a lot and insulin resistance prevents you from losing weight. This is another reason that I'm going to try IF.
Awesome, IF is a great way to improve your insulin resistance. Cant wait to hear how it goes for you ❤️
Thanks for this video. I almost had a panic attack when I gained weight my first week of IF and you helped me understand what I was doing wrong.
If someone has a small eating window 1 to 4 hrs and they are still gaining weight or not losing. I would check your thyroid, prolactin, testosterone, estrogen, and sugar levels. Any of these issues prevent weight loss no matter what you do. I'm a licensed medical provider.
I have Hashimoto anything i can do to help me lose weight? No hope for weight loss?
Thanks for that... I do need to have these things checked. Cause I'm watching myself gain weight and I fast 20 hrs/day everyday
Thank you!
Yeah, the problem is that when you have sleep apnea and a thyroid problem it really doesn't matter how hard you try... but I believe that it will work eventually...!
I believe that fasting may inhibit thyroxine production so its necessary to consume a lot of iodine from marine plants like seaweed and kelp.
You must learn to listen to what your body is telling you. I wasn’t eating enough and I began to feel horribly hungry, weak, and miserable. So I increased my calorie intake by eating more clean food like salads, fish. Much better now!
Yeah right u are
Don’t focus on calories at all. Focus on insulin which is driven primarily by carbohydrates so minimize them as much as possible.
Me too!!! Thyroid issues suck….
Same … when I was diagnosed about 17 years ago my doctor told me it’s 4 times harder to lose weight the same weight
I didn't realize that fasting was so complicated.
Amen! I thought it would be the cheapest & easiest option to loose weight, but I have not lost any weight in 2 months of mostly 18/6😡. It's not as simple as they say
it isn’t, the things she is explaining are kind of obvious. what exactly is complicated? “eat clean to lose weight” or “get enough protein”?
Its not complicated. And it obvious, we have to eat right (clean) At first it might sound like its so impossible and what not…. But its because were used to binging on fast food and bad saturated fat… dint get me wrong I do still eat Burger king patties, but during my open window…. This was very helpful, thank you. I realised from this video that I am not eating enough calories. I thought reducing it to 1370 would help me shed my postpartum weight but instead, I have maintained weight and haven't seen much loss.
I gained two pounds after undereating, when lost it when I amped up my calorie intake. I got so confused lol

This is totally off topic but I have to say your EYES are so captivating! Goodness!

Cut the veg, add more fat
I just started again. I am diabetic so I am doing 12:12 for now aiming for 10:14. I lost weight because I was not hungry ...
She never blinks
Blinking is not part of intermittent fasting.
😂
Yes she does. She blinks when you blink so you miss it.
“Don’t Blink…don’t ever blink!”
Hahaha

I have 100% self control but a few days before my period I lose every well in my body to stay on my diet. I will literally over eat and really really bad food.

You're storing up water, not gaining fat. Just keep with it for another week at least.
@@bhaalgornwhat makes you say it’s water storage? I’ve not heard this before in relation to IF affects?

I hate that. If I don't IF and eat whatever I want at whatever time I lose weight. If I do I F I gain alot of weight! Makes no sense 🙈
Yes I keep having this problem! Think I need to change something up. Plus I got on my fit scale today and you have to love when it ages you lol 😂
I feel like I'm 100yrs old a little now but God is good and a Heaven on Earth
Im doing IF since June 2020, started at 185 now I'm stuck at 157, usually I do 16:8,18:6,20:4. Doing elliptical daily, burning 500 calories on it. Still not loosing. I think I'm eating only 800 to 900 calories per day. Im feeling my body is going into storage mode. What should I do. I don't feel like eating more. I do take protein, salads. It's been 2 months I'm stuck at 157lb.
Fast longer - 24 hours or more.
Too low in calories
Reverse diet then you’ll see results
You might have to force yourself to eat more but not a bunch at the same time. Try eating 200-300 more calories in addition to what you already do and keep up the exercise(btw how long do you workout on the elliptical for?)
Eat more fat.
I had the best results when meal prepping and eating 5 small meals a day. Working out 5 times a week.
Fastening did not work for me at all 😩😩😩😩 I wish it did! Because I love eating one time per day.
Wendy, I am curious how long you tried intermittent fasting? When did you realize it wasn't working for you?
Hi this is Wendy too😀can you tell me on a typical day what did you 5 meals consist of,thanks
I do “IF” and punch a heavy bag I lost 80 pounds
im doing IF but i know my problem is SLEEP, I CANNOT SLEEP A STRAIGHT 8 HOURS and kinda when i eat haha.
That was helpful, thanks. Can you please do it without the music next time. It was hard to understand you
What is the ideal macros a women should be doing at the age of almost 45??
You can calculate your BMR to have all the macros needed + information online
Thank you.
Maybe little for increasing your activity level
So what should a vegan diet look like on IF? It's a bit tougher to get in as much protein
Vegan diets aren't healthy and will never compare to true protein found in meat
You need to get off the vegan diet. It's not good for you.
Is it okay to take diet supplements while fasting?
Here is an idea!
When I put animals on a diet because they are too fat. If their flanks are slimming off but their gut is still big. I dose them for parasites and worms. Within 3 days they slim off.
Might be worth a try? 🤔
Great video!
I have a situation for you…
IF 21:3 on fasting exercise days. 24-hour dry fast 1 day per week
Feed window: carnivore diet with a 500 calorie deficit.
Exercises:
11K runs at a fat burning bpm heart rate range 2 days per week
10K runs at a fat burning bpm heart rate range 3 days per week
Sleep: 8-10 hours, 5 days per week
But I still gain weight!
Mike cola says you should up your calories for awhile because your body is now too used to the restriction. Check out his channel on RUclips also just type in his name he’s a fitness trainer also.
You look a tinsy-winsy bit like Julia Roberts 🙂
It’s the eyes 😍
Yes
The voice also makes me think of her a bit.
She does look a little bit like her
I see it too
do you intermittent fast the same amt of time every day ? should you change it up - one day 12hr another day 17hrs to trick the body?
Been doing IF for a year and lost 20lbs. This month I gained 11lbs back. Still eating clean and doin 18/6 with two meals. The only thing that changed for me was two weeks ago I became nicotine free. Stopped cold turkey the smokeless tobacco. I feel great but have no idea why I have gained weight. Anyone with info or an idea I would appreciate the help.
gaining weight can be a good thing too. Youre not going to become obese if you're 18/6 lol I wouldn't worry too much. Maybe take a week off the fasting. Give your metabolism a good shake up.
@@12345charliebrown appreciate the help. 👍
When can l take minerals and vitamins, can take while on fasting time? Or only with meal? Thank you for reading
Confused.
I'm sorry you've hit a plateau! That is very frustrating, but also totally normal for the process. How long have you been at a plateau?
@@laceybaier_ about 3 weeks. I still in 70kg.
I'm starting on my second week of if starting out 336lbs down 331lbs .
Does anyone have and idea what the highest amount calories I should have to loose weight. I'm following clean eating currently and low carb
What's you height?? It varies depending on height and Gender.
If you used roughly wms height at around 5'6 331lb
You need to eat maximum of 2112 calories per day. That's how to get a 2Lb weight loss per week. At your weight it should be treated as an emergency at this point.
Don't count calories but do OMAD, except when PMSing
What about stevia? Is it allowed
Hey I just wanted to ask . Are we allowed to eat sugary things in our eating window
You had me at 'regular eating.'
I think is the carb thank you
Actually starts at 1:35.
How would you gain weight with intermittent fasting But still eating healthy ?
Please lose the heavy metal background. Painful
the backround is fake like a greensreen
😂
Great video. It just feels a bit uncomfortable when you stare into the camera without blinking.
Man, I didn't realize it's my super power...it's me thinking lol
How do I know how many calories to eat?
The food in this video looks amazing and healthy. What is in the wrap you were eating?
How do you know how many calories and macro amounts to eat in a day?
Hi do you my fitness pal, that might help or find a video on macros 👌🏾
Can you have matcha tea instead of coffee?
Oh one topic that you missed was before hitting the scale they probably should hit the toilet and make a deposit.
I gained a lot of weight doing fasting
Hi there I just found you. You make everything so plain, thank you. I have been doing a lot of walking, drinking tons of water, eating around 1600 cal. I have done IF but stopped because I couldn’t eat enough calories. I want to do the 16:8(I started today) and I’m going to use my fitness pal n keep walking. I’m just praying I get enough calories. As long as I have 1200 cal I’m good, right? I’m 5’7 and 218lbs need to be under this by July 17th. At least 200 lbs. Is this even possible with my regimen????
Heyy let me know how it went.
Try OMAD except when PMSing
Well y’all it is Feb 23 I am 212….I had made it up to 223 after my initial post. How? Started Oct 31st and had to get through the holidays🤦🏽♀️ 16:8 fasting 2 meal replacement shakes and a meal, very light snacking, 1200 calories and walking 30 min, 3-4 days per week 🙌🏽
@@wendygreen2099i think you are not eating near enough calories for your weight. she mentioned not eating enough in this video.
I'm losing weight little by little with OMAD diet. I don't have sleep apnea anymore, and I'm good with it. 😄😁😹🤣😉
Any new clips to add into the video? Or just the one of her biting into the egg sandwich. I think I’ve seen it in every video 😬
So skip lunch
Damn you scarf that burrito 😂
I.F actually only works with keto diet
Cognition
NOT FOR me when I'm fasting I have the worst brain fog
Can't find words
Pic up the coffee pot instead of my cup and try to take drink, without thinking ....miss the doorknob when I'm reaching for it. Say the wrong words.
Just the begging. So we shall see.
The same food
Lol I tried water fasting with no food for 3days and gained weight
Wtf same
Why
A lot of these "keto experts" don't work a job. Most of our jobs are stressful, and stress hormones can make you gain weight. They can also eat when they feel hungry, whereas we have to eat around our work schedules.
Check your thyroid and prolactin levels.
@@laceybaier_ Sure thanks for the reply, Yes would love to watch a video on it.
@@hamsalekhavenkatesh3440 Noted! :). So glad that helped though
rice can be eaten?
No
I thought fasting is the holy grain and will sort out insulin levels
this is what i looking for because i'm skinny and i want to gain weight .thankss
it makes me sad without sugar 😮💨
I gained 5 lbs sleeping last night
I miss your cooking videos 😢
Maybe one day, I'll get back to making those lol, but I've chosen to focus on wellness and nutrition for the time being, considering I've already published 1000s of hours of recipe videos and recipes. Sorry you miss the new recipe content.
@@laceybaier_ I enjoy all your content, Lacey and I wish your channel all the best in 2021! 😊
My personal experience is that if you're eating healthy you don't need to count calories. I did for a while to get an idea of how much I was eating, but with plenty of proteins, fats and most carbs from vegetables I felt sated after a normal meal.
Calories are not the right focus. One calorie of broccoli is not the same as one calorie of cookie.
}wow, thats what happend to me. Sugar....
No hungry at all
I give up lmao
