    I've found the best thing to do is what I will actually do and enjoy it. For that reason I do intermittent fasting after praying fervently to God for a plan that I could live with. So far, I've lost 102 lbs and have 74 more to go. I don't track anything else except my exercise. I hate tracking stuff, just hate it so keeping track will never work for me. I love intermittent fasting because I don't have to track anything and I don't have to eliminate any foods, just not eat them as often. Over time my taste buddies have changed and the junk I used to like doesn't taste good any more so it's easier to resist. I have much more energy than I used to have and I sleep better also. My digestion has improved too! It's the easiest thing I have ever done and I don't feel obsessed with food anymore because there are really no restrictions. It's definitely a lifestyle now and I don't think I'll ever eat daily again because I don't seem to need food everyday. I'm a 66-year-old woman. I do take vitamins/minerals and things as I did before I started intermittent fasting. I think the real key to success is to find something that you will actually do and do it for the rest of your life.

    Your weight loss journey video says that after each baby you weighed over 200 lbs. Ok. No where do you say you ever weighed 350 to 400 lbs, the weight you would have to be to lose 250 lbs. Losing 40-50 lbs 5-8 times doesn't mean you lost 250 lbs. This is a misleading statement.

    This is very misleading and dishonest. Losing 250 pounds is COMPLETELY different from losing 50 pounds off and on your whole life. There are so many biological and psychological mechanisms working against you when you're morbidly obese that make weight loss WAY harder than just needing to lose 50 pounds. This is not cool and is insulting to those that DO have 250 pounds to lose. Sincerely, a formerly morbidly obese person that lost 130 pounds.

    Yeah. Not the best title...Someone who really has 250 lbs(or more, or less) to lose might really feel like they were led on. Maybe she was just trying to be clever ( because, many of us can say, if we add up all the times we've lost weight, only to gain it all back, it amounts to lots of lbs). However she should have put a disclaimer right at the beginning. I was thinking ," Wow! She lost all that weight and her skin looks so good! I need to know how to do THAT!" Still don't know. Some of you might be interested in watching some videos by, RUclipsr, Rosa Charice. She lost 130 lbs in a very short time. Looks great. Good luck. I'm not watching this to the end. Sorry.

    Coffee is not a one size fits all. When I drink coffee I gain weight. That is because of the cortisol connection in some people including me. Adrenal burnout from over caffeinating well result in the body storing fat for what seems to be a constant emergency situation in the body chemistry’s mind. Green tea releases that from the body.

I think she can add to the video that is very simple to loose fat just do all the things she mentioned and + 1 watch over your meals. Half of the meal has to be vegetables, 1/4 protein and 1/4 carbs. It is a lot more easier when you know how to build your meal. It makes everything simple.

I have a 2 year old that basically eats clean with me but my 3 year is all junk and a few green veggies. (Working on that) Would love to see what your kids meals look like. My two year old has better colorful “eat the rainbow” meals than I do and that makes me pause sometimes. Haha. We should all be eating that way! Thank you for the video!!!

I have a hormonal problem and problems regulating body temperature. I get hot super easy and if I overheat it effects me emotionally. I have a little high blood pressure as well. Fast heart rate. Seriously, just ask google for info on reducing inflammation. You will sleep better, be in a better mood overall, your body will release all the swelling.

    Honestly not a fan of the click-bait title. In an earlier video you told us your max weight at your highest was like 200lbs. Losing 50 pounds 5 times or whatever and telling us you lost 250lbs is really manipulative, especially for people who really do have that much weight to lose. Trust me, if you have 50 lbs to lose sure you're overweight and should probably lose it, but you have no idea what it's actually like to be truly obese. Your true weight loss is whatever you were at your highest to the weight you are now, and the fact that it took you multiple tries to figure out what it takes to keep it off is just an anecdote.

  • @Littlemanloki
    @Littlemanloki 3 года назад +2

    I’ll never understand why people recommend nuts for fat intake. Nuts tend to have a horrible omega 3/omega 6 ratio. Omega 6 is significantly high in nuts, and omega 6 are associated with the inflammation in the body (a simple google search can show you the damage inflammation in the body can cause). Omega 3’s have an anti-inflammatory response, and have also been shown in various studies to have a correlation in weight loss, and also reduce to the inflammation already occurring in the body. Additionally, nuts tend to be rather high in calories, so for many people (including myself) I quickly over eat on nuts, and because they’re not the same as a plate of food, I find myself still wanting more food afterwards.
    Long story short, find higher quality foods for sources of fat. Beef, certain cuts of chicken, and pork are great, but beef specifically has one of the best omega 3:omega 6 ratios (outside of salmon and other seafood, which are also great sources of omega 3’s).
    Another note, hormones were only mentioned in relation to sleep, but they are far more dependent on quality fats. One of the reasons as to why PCOS is ameliorated or resolved altogether when women follow a ketogenic diet is because of the adequate amounts of high quality fats they’re consuming, while also omitting the carbs, sugars, and processed foods that silently wreak havoc on their bodies. Our hormones are often overlooked when we’re trying to resolve certain health issues, but our bodies function optimally when our hormones are functioning optimally.

    I like everything you talk about like the intermittent fasting. Increased activity... the only thing I disagree with is that if you dont eat enough the body will take muscle... but if you watch mindy peltz on fasting and autophagy she does not believe this happens as our body does have ability to become fat resistant with the use of fasting strategies.... also saying if you lower amounts of eating you can hold onto the fat..
    But fasting is beneficial not just intermittent. I had a problem keeping my weight off and am so clad I found mindy peltz on including fasting as a lifestyle

Some people who lose weight don’t even keep track of how they lost weight. I was one of them who lost 70 pounds and I couldn’t even remember how or when till people started noticing my baggy clothes. I had to go back and think sure enough at that time I was hiking 2-3 times a week, Zumba twice a day and I order a meal plan that kept me on 1200 calories less than a year I was thinner than ever. But you also gotta keep it going with my health it’s hard fibromyalgia some days gives you the best energy, some another days it takes your soul.
