Also, I received 4 rounds of steroid injections in the scalp. They are supposed to calm down the inflammation. In my case, it did not help. And yes, it was painful, especially in areas where my scalp was really tender. They will usually give you a stress ball to squeeze while another person comes in the room and massages your scalp as the doctor gives you the injections.

Sobrina, do you use oils on your scalp? I wonder if you might be lowkey allergic to some of the ingredients in what you're putting on your scalp...

I think my diet is helping with calming down the inflammation. I drink a lot turmeric and ginger juice that I make myself. I don't have too much itchiness my issue was the burning on the scalp I don't have that anymore and I am hoping I don't jinx myself because my hair is falling out again. and I know it might sound a little odd. but, I am ok with losing the hair the discomfort is what stop me in my tracks. Have you tried any diet changes to see help?, I use pepper mint shampoo too.

Diet is HUGE!! I recommend looking up Dr. Berg’s videos about inflammation, healthy eating, and overall wellness.

You need to see your Doctor, a course of antibiotics with a medicated shampoo, will stop those symptoms.
