4:33 I believe is an illegal move because the spider cannot slide freely into the gap, which it would have to be able to do for a smooth move that obeys the rules of movement.
Moving that bee doesn't break the hive. The hive can't have a hole in it. If for instance the white spider hadn't been there, moving the bee would've created a gap with the black ant at the bottom. And that's not allowed. But! Pieces can only be moved if there's space to move (two adjacent sides of a piece need to be clear of bugs in order to move)
It's the classic game without the expansion pieces. It will cost you more than the Pocket and the Carbon editions to get a fully expanded standard set. I had to buy the mosquito, ladybug, and pillbug separately for my standard set. They deliberately kept all the expansion pieces sold separately. When you get the Carbon or Pocket editions, you only need to get the pillbug to fully expand the set. John Yianni, the creator of the game, same that his game is now complete. The classic still plays well that you have two separate divisions in tournaments. I can easily shift between classical and expanded games.

No, the beetle just stops it from moving, it can still be surrounded

No, all tiles have to be placed next to another tile and not touching an opponent's tile. The beetle cannot be placed directly on top of a tile
