I agree, a garden needs to have boundaries, it is much easier to create a design within. Your garden is beautiful, made with a lot of hard work & brilliant planting. Soil, compost & mulch are the most important components.

Thank you Ninnie & Sarah! Very interesting! Yes, the borders of a garden is more beautiful to me also...especially the stone walls...just beautiful! And along with the plants, is what reminds me so much of my birth place in New England....i live in Florida now and love being able to garden all year but miss the landscape there also.

She has such an amazing garden! Thanks for going back & interviewing her. I love how she explained that she just simply needed to have borders. I never realized I felt the same way, until she explained it that way! I got to thinking about it & have the same need in my much smaller garden. I need definition at the borders too! Thanks again Sara🤗👍👍💕

Thank you, Ninnie, for the great tips on creating a garden, I t’s helpful to understand your thought processes. I agree with you about wanting the garden to feel cosy and enveloping. I have a lot of ideas and some materials, I just need to start implementing them all. I think you have a gift and inspiration some of us lack. I wish I lived next door to you so I could pick your brain! I guess I would have to learn to speak Swedish first, though! Your gardens are so lovely and I enjoyed the tour very much.
