This is everything a john wick game needs. Open world, CQC gun finishers like in watch dog legion and red dead redemption 2, a tackle mechanic like in Red dead redemption 2, run and gun mechanic like in GTA 5, fun stealth takedowns like in the Far cry games (i.e. gunslinger and maybe knife throws) a focus system, and great hand to hand combat (dont know anything so dealers choice)
The gunplay mechanics should be from Max Payne 3 instead of GTA 5 cause they're overall alot more polished and fun to play.
If there is anyone who is more fitting for developing a John Wick game it's either Remedy or Rockstar who should develop it, they'd be perfect for the job just by judging at the quality of the Max Payne trilogy tbh.

@@onee Yeah, if you haven't played Max Payne 3 then I highly recommend despite certain problems I have with it I love the game's combat system so damn much I can't help but love it.
Rockstar aren't really known for their combat so it's all the more impressive when you consider their work on Max Payne 3. It's probably the closest we've gotten to a proper John Wick game unlike that awful John Wick Hex game.

John Wick as a character damn near fights like Batman. His level of efficiency and ability absolutely matches the Dark Knight. The only thing that truly separates them is Batman’s peak physical strength and John’s level of brutality.
With that said, I personally believe a form of Arkham style free flow combat is the best way to capture The Babyaga’s gunfu. The guns could be shot similar to how batarangs are thrown, parrying would set up counterattacks, and building up combos would allow for finisher kills like he performs in the films.
Whoever makes the game needs to capture the flow of the fights we see in the action and I believe a style of Arkham inspired combat would surely accomplish that.
I remeber a game called Dead to Rights.... Was the one of the best games during the Max Payne and GTA 3 Era

Yep, Remedy would be perfect, this is a John Wick Skin Mod on Max Payne 3 and it already feel proper enough a John Wick Game, I can also see some of The Sifu game mechanics work well with a John Wick game since you have to sometimes stop a move you're doing on an opponent and focus on the opponent behind you, you have to be able to change course on the fly during your attacks, situational awareness attacks can come from multiple sides and sometimes all at once

@@Blakwoodz True, But imagine John Wick being stealthy for once, but I agree Hitman was more focused on stealth unlike the John Wick series where it focuses more on intense hand-to-hand combat.Maybe they can have brutal combat like The Last of Us Part II

They should make it a story-driven MMO like SWTOR. You can create your own assassin or even be a part of the High Table. Imagine having characters from the films that you team up with on missions or they hand them to you.
I know it sounds crazy but in addition to John Wick I’d love to see Remedy reboot the arcade classic Elevator Action.. It’d be right up their alley
Considering Alan’s look in the most recent Alan Wake game, I have a feeling it might be Remedy developing the game, and they’re testing elements to see how the public responds.
Sifu crossed with Max Payne and Stranglehold would make this game the ultimate killer title.
If there actually is a John Wick game, I'd want them to do the lore of when he was a kid growing up and who his father was. SURELY he was an amazing assassin in the underground and was the former boogeyman. It just makes perfect sense. It can showcase who he grew up with in training to be the boogeyman and perhaps first love interests before he settled down with his former wife before she died of a terminal illness. I'd love to a character that interacts with as a "brotherhood" is people that are outcasts or would be considered those who would be not able to regularly function in society. For example he could have trained up with a kid that survived birth wtih harlequin ichthyosis and having also a condition of myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy which would make them look like a demon looking kind of monster if they live to be an adult. Then of course a girl who was rpd as a child and grew a strong distrust of men and it's that fueled rage she was a worthy contender of killing someone like John at a very early age who happened to trust him because she saw the good in him for the first time in a man, period. This game could be 3rd person shooter for obvious reasons and also made into a 8-bit game for side to side story play.

One Correction. Remedy made Max Payne 1 and 2 but Rockstar Games made Max Payne 3 using the GTA 4 engine while Remedy began development on Alan Wake.
Regardless of whose developing it I am excited.

I'd love for either Remedy or Naughty Dog to develop this game. I think Insomniac Games could also nail it, they are very good with story telling and coming up with creative general game mechanics which is important for any game really plus they have experience with third person games and creating big open worlds, which this could totally be. Like can you imagine open world john wick game, where you get to drive John's mustang around New York and do some ops and visit the Continental hotel to pick up some contracts etc. That would be pretty awesome.

I think Remedy Entertainment would be a cool/good choice for developers.
I would love to have a prequel game to the movies to see John Wick before he retired and was carrying out contracts for Winston, Tarasov, and The High Table. I think that would be cool and explore more of his relationship with his wife Helen. All the way up to him completing his last contract/mission with the “impossible task” Tarasov sent him on and going into retirement.
I would rather have a new matrix game it would be perfect with the teck we got now

Slo clap is the company that made sifu. They should team up with remedy. Remedy has a proven track record for incredible graphics, but for gameplay? Slocalp is the ONLY choice! They will execute it perfectly. I'd rather have a game that looks like sifu with awesome gameplay than a gun fu game that looks like Alan Wake and plays like crap.

I think Sony should make the game. Because they are the best of making PlayStation games. I already have a PS5 and it’s insane and incredibly fun. So if their any chance that they want to make a best version in game Sony is the way to go.

Sifu = See - Fu. If United Front was still around I’d say United Front because Sleeping Dogs was amazing. Of the 3 studios named, I’d go with Remedy. Max Payne is very John Wick-esqe. They would just need to add more hand-to-hand to the game.
