So, I got to thinking... although this would be amazing, this would actually be counter productive to what Kevin is doing with this ep. with this ep he’s trying to show (in my opinion) that he’s more than just a member of PTX and that he’s talented in his own right. That’s why he chose to cover this song. We are now seeing more of his true self shining through.

i love the interpretation of this song! the video starts black and white and kevin is singing to show your true colors, be yourself, so the dancer puts her clothes in a washing machine which resemble her washing her old self away, she's being herself and showing her true colors, and i find that so beautiful, inspiring and meaningful! so proud of you kevin!

Ok so who else thinks he should do a song with his natural voice......not saying he isn't good but just want to hear that beautiful voice that he got
Check out some of his other songs here on RUclips. This is the first one he's used any distortion on.
The melody voice is his natural voice, but it’s definitely hard to hear a little with all the distortion in the background.
I would have liked to hear True Colors with his normal voice.......again not saying this is bad at all

This is absolutely great! I love this accapela arrangement with this "imogen heap" effect, it really emphasizes the main melody, and this very soft quality to his voice. Makes you feel alone but also empowered at the same time. 1:06 was a great harmony moment!

Me too! Kevin is my favorite singer/musician/artist. My fav of all the members of Pentatonix. My favorite human being on this planet next to my daughter, my sister & my husband. I feel like he was my son in a previous life or something. I have so much love for him & I am so proud of his accomplishments. One day I want to meet him & give him the biggest hug ever. That is, if covid ever goes away & people can hug each other again. It's sad that we can't hug people anymore. But every day I hug people in my heart. I hope they can somehow feel it.
