@@watchyouwant1617 I rewatch this video because this is such an amazing 🤩 Seiko watch. I hope you still have this watch in your collection. I’ve had my Blumo now over two years and although I’ve added more Seiko’s and Orients to the collection this is Blumo is still King 👑
Awesome review on this awesome 😎 Seiko Blumo watch . I’ve owned now for about a year and absolutely love my Blumo watch . This generation Sumo to me is nicer than the newer ones with the 6R35 movement. I’ve tried a few on and it’s not the same . I even think the Sumo is better than the sbdc061 and sbdc051 as well. It looks awesome on your 7 inch wrist my wrist size is 7.25 and perfect fit . I just recently acquired a blue Orient Triton 🔱 watch and if you love the Blumo I strongly recommend a blue Orient Triton I think you’d really like it 👍🏻
Thanks man! I appreciate it! I’ll definitely take a look at the Orient. I’ve recently bought my first Turtle SRPD21K1 (Save the Ocean White Shark) and think I’ve finally found my two favorite Seiko Dive Models: Sumo and Turtle.
watchyouwant? I also own a Seiko Padi Turtle 🐢 and a skx009. I love them all but the Sumo is king of my collection 👍🏻. I also own a Orient Mforce Bravo which is very comparable to the Sumo another top notch watch as well.
I agree- I got the blumo then saw a discounted 6r35 sapphire black model for a similar price. I got the black one and planned to sell the blumo but after a couple of days the black one just felt boring. The indices felt too small, the sapphire didn’t look as nice as the hardlex and it never once made me smile or admire it. The older sbdc033 constantly makes me smile and keeps much better time too with no QC issues. I’m waiting on a strapcode Angus jubilee to see if it can be my daily wearer/beater long term. I’ve owned every Seiko mechanical diver from skx to 2x mm300s and I think the blumo might be my favourite.
@@manuel_winde wow that’s amazing that you’ve collected that many Seiko’s. Especially the Marine Master which is my grail of grail watches . I want the SLA023 blue Marine Master. I do really love my Blumo and my best watch in my collection. I even added a Marine Master clasp to my stock Sumo bracelet 👍🏻
I just rebought one after a few years too- I prefer it to the newer version sumo and having owned pretty much every automatic seiko diver I think it’s my favourite, the low price helps too.
@@watchyouwant1617 keep factory. Sumo deserves too be left alone. Change too sapphire only when u scratch up the hardlex. When/if U do please have a certified watchmaker instal with a NEW gasket and water/dry pressure test too 20 atm.
Please subscribe to my channel in order not to miss a new video. Thank you for your support!
I added a Marine Master clasp to my Blumo stock bracelet and wow 🤩 what an upgrade. Strongly recommend adding a Marine Master clasp to your Blumo 👍🏻
Definitely a great update. Maybe I put the one of my SLA023 on the Sumo.

@Joseph Pyburn: you really made me curious! I’m diving into the Orient lineup now😁

Great review man!
Thank you very much!
Why oh why did I sell my Blumo.
Agreed. Got another incoming tomorrow

Change to "top hat" sahpire crystal & install a cool Yobokies custom hand set & it will really be perfect!
I“ll definitely change to sapphire and maybe even a different hand set.
