Nice job but I've modded a few sumos in the past including my own and I found that a little acetone or cutex goes a long way in cleaning up any glue or residue...
Thanks for the tip on how to attach the bezel tape...I will definitely use that on my next mod...although I just bought hypocement so I don't need to worry about them any more :D
Happy to help my friend. Uh, who do ya think helped Curt? You should look at some of his older videos before he got schooled. You’re an insert adhesive Zen Master now.
Any chance of a sumo bezel removal vid at some point? I'm sure it's similar to an SKX but it will be my first mod(fix) and I don't want to trash my watch :)
Rob, I have an SBDC051 and I knocked the bezel off my watch. Looking your video there is the metal ring that you adjusted. Do you know where I could buy a spare for my watch?
I picked up my Sumo in '13. As of late, a lot of Seiko Diver styles have come & gone, but I still always gravitate back to my Sumo.
You did a real professional bezel job. You rock!
The best example of putting the adhesive onto the insert I have ever seen! Cut this portion of the video out and use it as a separate video!!!!
I will make a new vid on next build showing it
Hey Rob - where can I find an OEM bezel insert for my Blumo?
Enjoyed your video. Yes the dyno analogy makes sense as expectations may not be reality!

These videos are great. I hope you will continue to play with mods and adjusting Seikos etc.
what's the size of the 3M stickers?
How much for a ceramic Green one that replaces the one on the Seiko spb103j1 ?
Cool video! Mais comment enlever la lunette ?
Please where can i buy same bezel????
Nice. I recently got a sumo and want to change the bezel insert. Would you describe how exactly did you remove the bezel? Thanks.

You are the man behind the curtain. Well played bro
Anyone know the 3m tape used? Size?
What is the bezel
Size mm ?
Good way of putting it. In the car world, the Mustang Dynos are know as the Heartbreaker Dynos. Ask me how I know.

It’s already sold, but curious, how much was it?
$400
Where did you get the replacement bezel from? i'm looking to do the same on my SBP103, but the only new bezel i found online was quite expensive
Don’t recall sorry
Is ceramic bezel??
where to get 3 m adhesive for sumo pls can u tell me?
Is it the original cristal glass ?
JDM models don't seem to have this alignment issue. Seiko china ...not so much.
Couldn’t you have done this without removing the bezel ? Just remove the insert than install the new one?
that chapter ring alignment is heinous, but pretty informative video
Should have put a ceramic insert on while it was out!??...

ebay...it's called a "bezel spring". Search for seiko sumo bezel spring.
@@Yakena1 Thank you! Now I can finally fix my watch.
Hope they work for you
Just the tip on the back side
