Just want to say I've also met some AMAZING Magna owners out there on social media. Amazing in that they've given me information, specifications, advice, leads on parts... you name it. But it's the bad eggs that sour the experience.
The loudest are always the knockers Sean. Stuff em. Keep going with your passion, 99.9% of us understand it and also love it as much as you do. Without people like us who pour hours and dollars into unwanted old cars keeping history alive, they would be wrecked. I'm off too your merch store just to add to the knockers frustration. Take care mate.
There’s nothing wrong with what you’re doing Sean. There’s nothing wrong with making a dollar. You’re doing a great job, keep it up mate. There’s a lot of trolls out there mate
A lot of anti-profit people out here as well when it comes to buying goods and services, you can see this all the time on those facebook groups, even if and when you can show proof they're getting a better deal. They'll always piss and moan if it's a small biz or an individual that needs to make a small profit on something, but they don't seem to care when it's a major corporation ripping them off. The potential future of Australians is really worrying.
@@MotoringBoxTV I hate to bring politics into this, but it's essentially some kind of socialism they are promoting without always realising. People are allowed to make money on things if they want, if nobody did we wouldn't be here today. I bet these same people won't bat an eyelid at the fact many Japanese cars asking prices went up 10x in only several years.
@@JV8391 probably because they don’t have the know-how or motivation ( perhaps both) to do it themselves.... So they just hate on anyone who can do it.
@@JV8391 Well said. I'm a small business selling car parts and I'm also selling down a huge collection on FB. The cesspool that has become Australia is very sad. What's wrong with buying a collectable? What's wrong with being a collector? What's wrong with trading at a profit, or at very least getting back everything you've invested including your time? Nothing. Yet hundreds of idiots on FB make it their hobby to attack people and tell them they should trade everything for popcorn.
Don't worry about the haters, or the people who don't "get it" Do what you want, it's your life, your money. I actually thought your channel was mainly about Australian produced cars (although I know you like Fords) as you've had Holdens here too *shrug*. The Magna feels like a natural progression
@@EB240 Yep, when Sean is finished with this one it will be one of the best, if not THE best example of the model and we can say, ‘Great, another one saved.’.
Clearly someone is jelly they didn’t get one lol. Love your dedication to Aussie car culture and the Magna is definitely a part of it. Watching your stuff reminds of my days reading Motor and Wheels comparing the big Aussie sedans, awesome stuff 👍
Man, people are such bitter, kill-joys, keep doing what you’re doing dude. You’re awesome and I love that I get to see someone enjoy and rebuild cars that I’ve always wanted. It’s nice to watch these videos as I can’t have these cars myself, I’m so happy that I get to watch someone do what I’ve always wanted to do.
Just ignore the haters and keep on restoring your new Ralliart. Who cares if its just 'another magna', there's absolutely nothing wrong with what you're doing. You'll eventually finish with something astonishing and you won't regret it. The Brisbane Magna community welcomes you..
It’s a shame that certain owners have nothing better than to throw accusations like this. I for one and over the moon for the Magna content and awareness. Hope to see it around as I did the AU so many moons ago.
Don't ever feel you have to justify your decisions to us.. Who cares if you did buy it for collerctibility... more power to you. Ignore what the loud voice in the crowd says, to your own self be true. Motor on mate.
Those magna guys were all welcome to buy your car when it was advertised, but didn't lol. It's great this one ended up with you. I'm pretty excited where you might be able to take it. BTW I'll watch anything that's aussie or retro japanese. I'm a holden man myself, but happy to watch any nice car that people are able to work on.
That’s right. Advertised for nearly 3 weeks. Tells me that someone complaining now probably didn’t have the funds at the time, or they were waiting for a desperate low-price sale, and didn’t count on an honest guy coming along with the cash to buy it at a fair price. It’s a shame that maladjusted individuals try to stomp on someone with such passion & creativity. I’ve enjoyed all of Sean’s videos so far, and I’ll keep watching this series too. I have a soft spot for niche models, especially Aussie ones. That’s what got me onto Peter Anderson’s channel. He was doing the XC GXL. A car I liked as a kid because my uncle had one in the 80s. I’ve watched every one of Peter’s videos since. It’s not just the car - it’s the person, their willingness to do stuff, and the evolution of the project that I admire.
You know you're succeeding as a RUclipsr when people start slagging you off on FB under their real names. 😆 Looking forward seeing plenty of the Magna Ralliart in future eps.
It seems that the Magna camp are either lovers or haters of the car. I’ve owned a TS and TJ Magna and they have both been reliable, good looking and in the case of the TJ, quite quick. Your review of the Magna has been balanced and considered and I look forward to what you do with it.
I've owned 3 Magna's including an AWD VRX and am active on the groups, I cannot blame you for leaving that particular group as I have also run into similar snobbery. End of the day you are the one of the only content creators who genuinely care and love Aussie cars and I am super fucking keen to follow you and your Ralliart. There's not many of these getting around anymore and I know you'll give it the love and respect this weapon of a car deserves
I'm fascinated to see this car in your videos. You're great on your history and cover it so well, and the way that I know you're going to present it makes me keen to watch.
I've always found the Magna Madness group to be pretty good. In general most people are really helpful, it's only a few who are a bit pig headed. As somebody who loves Magnas and would love another one if circumstances permitted, I'm stoked that it's gone to a good home where it will be fixed
Im a Holden / HSV guy through and through - but have a Falcon daily - and recently bought a very clean NU Fairlane V8 - its Aussie, a great cruiser and thats all that matters... Some people just have too much time on their hands and preconcieved notions about other car owners and reasons for purchase or sale... I am so much looking forward to the transformation of this Magna - keep up the great work - and forget the haters!
Yes technically that is correct - however since there are many people referring to it as an NU - when searching for parts particularly it pays to use AU or NU... just like AU or DU for LTD...
Love the channel and love all the videos. Just stumbled on it a while back. I rarely comment, on RUclips, but keep doing what your doing! I’m sure your channel is growing and will continue to grow. The production quality of your videos is incredible. Something to be proud of!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Fortunately, we love your work on Just Commodores. I can’t understand how it can be taken so seriously. It’s going to be a fun project. Even if this one isn’t a Holden or a Ford, we will keep watching. It’s cool to see people exploring something new to them. It’s a practical choice for cost and the experience of the repairs required here. You’ve said it many times that you are doing this to learn new things and learn new skills. I reckon you’ve chosen well, even it makes my eye twitch to see a Magna getting rescued. Get into it big fella. Maybe Mal missed out on buying it? Maybe Mal needs to start his own RUclips channel? Maybe Mail needs to write to John Cardogan complaining about people other than him buying “collectible” cars. Maybe we’ll get to see Mal in a crushed box of Magna walking along like Omar Sharif in the all time great comedy movie “Top Secret”?
People like Mal is why I stopped posting about my projects and what I'm doing. It's my money and my time, mind your own business. You're doing fine Sean!
I wouldn’t worry to much about Mal. He is most likely projecting on you what his intentions were. Don’t crush the car, I’ve owned a Magna and they are awesome cars. Much prefer you keep Australian motoring history alive. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it and see it restored. Keep up the good work.
Keep doing you Sean, by far my favourite Aussie automotive channel. Just genuine honest videos (And your Barra origins video was an incredible production) with no over the top influencer crap.
You do you Sean, and that’s how we like it. We appreciate your love for our homegrown cars and your honesty and integrity on display in every video. I know very little about Magna’s but my response is ‘great’ I know I want to learn and enjoy the process with you as you delve further into this. I admire and applaud your choice. 😊
I'm very happy to see that you bought the flagship Magna for your next project and look forward to seeing the restoration. I've owned my TJ almost 20 years with currently 595,000 original km (can see it on my channel). Now an occasional weekend drive now kept safe undercover. I also love our Aussie Falcons and Fairmonts (why I follow your channel).
@@Roo0ooD Yep, still here, posted once or twice on the Mitsi Forum that Leadfoot6 moderates but mainly on YT. Shame the AMC forum got hacked and taken down - we lost decades of helpful info.
@Billy Mason PI yep. I was on my L's a few years ago learnt in my dads old TJ which I still drive daily now and have done a lot to it since, lurked that forums a lot to learn as much as I could having never even seen the underside of a car before. Despite the old aussiemagna forums going bust, a lot of this knowledge for people like me just learning to work on the car is still in the main groups like Magna Madness and Magna VRX club, FB search feature can yield some results.. and if there's nothing just ask and people have always been really helpful to me over the years. Most underappreciated are people on youtube such as yourself, GavsShed, Nadeene (missmitsu, magna madness admin) that step through things which I can't be more thankful for Too bad I can't even find an archive to compile most of the useful knowledge built up over the years on aussiemagna - waybackmachine just returns an error when going into the subforums, not sure how well leadfoot6's efforts were to find or rebuild an archive, I'm not sure he's on the facebook groups
Don’t worry about all the trolls Sean, you should be proud of what you are doing to celebrate Aussie made cars & anyone in their right mind would recognise that. I’m very excited to see where the Magna takes you & see the finished result. A great choice for your next project car! 👍🏼
There’s always people out there who like to throw hate at others, regardless of your intentions. Sadly we can’t please everyone. I think it’s a great project and look forward to seeing the journey. My former brother in law had one so I know what they’re like when they’re tuned up. Love the channel and the content.
Giving these people air time like this is only going to stroke their ego more. Just ignore them. There are far more helpful/friendly members of the community than these toxic people, who are really just unhappy with themselves and have to bring others down. It's amazing what you're doing and I can't wait to see the progress.
Perhaps, I usually let it go. But over time misinformation like that can spread, and I wanted to put my side of the story out there. I've got nothing to hide - but whether people believe it or not is another thing. 🤷♂
Sean you are doing a good thing saving this car. Enjoy fixing it and hopefully at the end you will get a very good car that can be daily driven. For what is worth, I have been actively looking at Magnas as a channel project. They are more for interest, curiosity and love given parts cost, labour and desirability, especially the specific combinations I am looking for. All of them are quite rare now and rare doesn't equal desirable for any of them, the last one I saw for sale had an "accident", as insurance paid more than they would ever have got for the car (similar story to the manual 1992 Nissan Serena SR20 on the channel).
Im interested to see the Magna get worked on, I used to see new VRXs back in the day being South Aussie and near the factories. VTs were still huge at the time so I totally get you when you talk about that era of cars. If only we'd known how collectable Skylines and Silvias would get aye 😆
You don’t need to justify your actions to anyone, mate! If someone can’t understand your reasons for buying a car thats their problem. I can’t wait to see more videos on this! I drove my parents TJ magna on my Learners and I absolutely loved it 👍
Sean, as you said your track record proves your honesty and you don't need to explain that to anyone mate. As a Magna lover myself, I apologise on behalf of all Magna owners for the uncalled for flack you have received from these disgruntled people. Simply sounds like a case of sour grapes to me and IMHO there's nothing for you to apologise for. In the end it's your money and your car and no one has the right to make assumptions or to dictate to you what you do with it either. Keep up the good work and quality content. I personally will continue to support you and will be looking forward to joining you in your Magna journey! 👍😊
Keep up the terrific work mate, as a Fellow Ralliart Magna owner (No. 203) I always enjoy seeing others Ralliart Magna projects and hope to learn from one another, don't worry about some cranky old bugger with too much time on his hands, you've found a fantastic piece of unique motoring history 😀
Keep doing what you're doing mate, it's refreshing seeing content that delves deep in the history of the australian car industry on here because most other content creators either are from overseas and don't understand the impact these cars had on our industry, or are covering cars that were imported (although I don't mind some Mighty Car Mods from time to time). Magnas and mistubishi in general cop a hard review normally from other fan bases, but the 6G74 is a killer engine when treated right. I have one in my 99 NL Pajero and whilst its not super powerful and gets me bullied by mates (in good faith) that own Landcruisers and Patrols, it runs smooth and quiet at idle, barks when I give it some revs and is suprisingly economical considering the size of the car it's pushing around. A true workhorse of an engine, and was even chucked in the Pajero Evolution to win the Dakar Rally.
There is something really wrong in the car community when someone questions another enthusiasts motives for buying a car; you shouldn't have to justify your actions.
most magna people are wankers, theres fuck all good people left, the community was good 10 years ago when we were learning i am selling 2 x ralliarts atm check gumtree dimboola
Didn’t even know there was Magna enthusiasts. Never seen a All Magna show advertisement either . Sean don’t feed their hate with a response , do what makes you happy cheers Bob .👊
@@FuManchu5ltr I just like the channel and find it interesting what he does with looking into aussie cars and car culture, fixing up the cars and saving a few more Aussie cars from the wreckers when no more Aussie cars are made anymore. I work on my own car, a 2006 BF Falcon XT station wagon.
I think we all know that there are people who see conspiracies and hidden meanings everywhere. If someone said to them "Hi, how are you today?" they'd think there was something conspiratorial about it. Never argue with a drunk or a fool. I think it is hugely interesting that you have ventured into Magna land, it should be a fun and informative journey. Love what you do. 😊👍
Good day Sean, I have only just recently subscribed and are loving the video’s. You currently have almost 30k subscribers who I would dare say are loving the videos too. Please don’t waste your energy on people who just want to bring you down. Your title says it all “MotoringBox” which I would assume would include all cars not just Fords 😅 Keep up the good work ✌️
I wish you bought a Ford, BUT, stuff what anyone is saying! Your channel is great and love seeing the bits and pieces you do with your cars. I for one cannot wait to see how it turns out. Enjoy & more power to you if you end up making some money on it. Keep em coming!!
I met you at the Ipswich laps a few months ago and you were talking about getting a magna back then. You don’t need to justify anything to these trolls. I love your videos and am really excited to see what you do with the Magna even if I’m a “holden guy”
Don’t worry about other people who are wind bags. Empty vessels make the most noise. Have fun with your latest project. Looking forward to your future videos 😊
I've owned a couple of Magnas - the AWD is a great car (with a 6G75 fitted). But, theres only a couple of bad eggs in the Magna-shpere, the rest are pretty good guys. I just found your channel with the purchase video for the Ralliart - I'm hooked.
Enjoy your magna don't worry about the heaters if you need any info on your magna I'm more than happy to help, I've had my magna tj vrx for 4years and loving it every day 😊
Really happy you've purchased a Magna. I have a 1998 KH Verada in Xi trim - best car I've owned. You will be so happy with it. Great quality overall and drives like something from a higher price bracket. People are very quick to diss it because of the FWD drive train. Really excited to see how yours turns out.
When I was 12 my parents went to a Mitsubishi Dealership and found a TW Magna VRX in Zen (metallic purple) with a cream leather interior. It was a 1 of 1 built for someone who worked at the factory. (We lived next to the Tonsley Park.) Only reason they didn’t buy it was because it wouldn’t fit up our driveway at the time so we got a 380 instead. Still think about that Magna and how awesome it was. I bought a Legnum VR4 a few years ago to scratch the itch but damn I’d still love a vrx at some stage.
HI i used to work at the factory when these models were made and have owned a few in my time. My last being an AWD 1 owner TJ sports model in great condition. I have sold it now but am really looking forward to watching you fix this beauty up. Brings back fond memories for me.
Mate, good on you for wanting to do what you want. It is really a shame that someone like that pretty much turns you off the product. Hopefully you can get the information and parts you need to complete your goal. Keep it up 👍
Also, most of the members in that group would probably apologise for that said "member" (term used loosely) and his attitude towards you and your content. It is a good group with a lot of knowledge
I’m sorry this is happening to you. The true Magna enthusiasts are happy for anyone to enjoy the car! I’ve also kicked him from the group. We don’t condone that behaviour
Awesome VR-X. Nice video. My college years car was Magna VR-X 2003 silver. Unfortunately Ralliart was not available in Kuwait. I do love the car and I watched all your videos and remember every corner from it. I gave it away to a friend for free (I don't know why) but still VR-X is a fast car compared with 4 doors sedan in that time. Keep it up and I am more than happy to support your channel
Just keep doing what you’re doing Mr MB. I’m very intrigued to see how your resto on this will look at the end. Ralliart Magna is so unique I’m excited for you keep up the good work. Do what I do get off social media I’m not on any of it and it’s a breath of fresh air !
Looks like ol'mate has got some other issues going on. Not really surprised on your purchase, the Magna is another car underrated by many people and you bought one that is rare, far more interesting than an Executive. Who really cares if there was 'motive'! Your channel is great to watch and down to earth. If you are fortunate enough to break even or make a profit on a car, freaking awesome! Glad you didn't sell the AU.
You don’t owe anyone any explanations or guarantees. What difference does it make why someone buys a car when it provides so much enjoyment and learning for all the viewers. That guy is an absolute pelican.
Those of us that have been following you for a few years now Sean understand that, yes you're a Ford guy, but ultimately its Australian Cars you're proud of as you showed with the Holden. Doesn't matter what brand, its an interest that you enjoy presenting and we enjoy soaking in. Keep doing what you're doing. I'll say hi if i see you around the Swich Over the next few years I'll be getting my ED XR8 Sprint back on the road. Love for you to do a story on them. Mine isn't up for showing as yet. But will be soon enough.
Love your channel mate.. its been very helpful over the years of my ownership of multiple falcons.. I've also owned and enjoyed multiple brands of cars... Some people are just trolls and need to be ignored.
I feel sad that you feel like you need to explain yourself like this. I tell ya what I would buy any of your cars in an instant, the way you look after your cars and don't cut corners I would hope for you to make a profit. I've been watching you for a few years now, you have very similar interests in cars to myself and I love the way you tackle jobs big and small. I live really close to you and hope I get to meet you one day, your a bloody top bloke. Don't let the internet get to you mate, you bought a car to have some fun and restore, there's nothing wrong with that.
So what if you bought it as an investment? WTF does that have to do with anything? Don't engage these wankers. As a content creator just block them and save us all the grief 🙄
Exactly, if you decide to buy a car and are able to sell it for a profit who the f*@k are they to say you cant? I think hes just jealous/upset that he couldnt afford it himself
My first car was an 89 TP Magna, first car I raced was a VL 5sp with extractors, exhaust, air filter etc. along Smith St Gold Coast, the thing went off the clock and around to the bottom of the dash and ate the VL, my TP was absolutley stock. I had to pull into Broadwater carpark and pop the bonnet for this dude, he did not believe I had no mods 😄
The overwhelming majority of folks want to see you restore and preserve this Magna Ralliart, Sean. Even if you do have to let it go one day (though hopefully not for a very long time). What would Mal do with it? Somehow I don't think he'd invest the time and money into making this car shine again. I also don't think he'd put in all the extra effort into bringing thousands of others along for the ride. tbh this is the most pumped I've been about any of your cars. No offence to your Fords and the VT, which are all great cars. But the Magna Ralliart is such a rare bird. Congrats on the purchase and can't wait to see how it evolves. 👍
Your passion is obvious. Keep it up. You are definitely adding value here as far as I'm concerned. It's a shame there are some detractors out there looking to cut you down to their level. It's real easy to throw shit. Much harder to catch it.
Mate you could have bought the car to burn in a paddock if you like. Don't worry about what others say, it's your money and your choice what you do with it 👍
Good luck with the car Sean. The first car I ever drove when I was 16 was a TN Magna. I grew up in a mainly Ford and Holden family so I was very used to those like you. My father had a TH or KH V6 Verada in the 90's and it was a very nice car. I really liked that one. Great car.
love this channel, my mum had a manual TJ magna when I was a kid and it was FAST! ignore the hate I cant wait to see more videos of you fixing this car up. And im a BMW guy, you can like all differnt types of cars. Magnas rule.
Sean, at the end of the day you've taken a car that was probably destined to be parted out, wrecked or end up as some 18yo's burnout machine and you'll turn it back into the soon to be classic Aussie Magna it once was. That bloke should actually be grateful you're part of preserving these older cars. I've had 2 magnas and they have both been fantastically reliable, comfortable and powerful vehicles so I was rapt when you brought it into the channel and I'm looking forward to seeing this series progress. Keep up the good work mate and ignore the small minds out there 👍
Absolutely didn’t need a video to justify your car choices, manage things however you see best for the channel and yourself. Love the videos, keen to see the Magna get mint.
Don't worry Sean baby, I and I'm sure nearly all who've followed you are well aware of your passion for things automotive and profit is not your driving factor. As someone who's been interested in cars, particularly Australian cars since childhood I totally get your motivations. I don't know how someone can think you must be a speculator when you have bought other makes in the past. This will add much needed variety to your channel. Look forward to seeing this smart looking car get back to shape.
Nice T- Shirt ! Your Australian car crush is cool. Although my current cars are new Europeans(alpine A110 + VW Arteon), I loved my brand new manual XR6 AUIII, also loved my Brand new BA XR6 (with factory sunroof), even Loved my New 1998 Verada XI (awsome car in the day - especially the sound of the 3.5). Altogether I always considered my self a Ford kid at school in the 80’s. Our family also had a couple of new SS commodores and a new supercharged Vt Calais too. Real shame we don’t have our own Australian identity cars anymore. Keep up the great work !
It's your car and your choice what you choose to do with the car - no one else's business. Keep up the great work with the channel, looking forward to seeing what you do with it. 👍
You don't need to justify yourself to Facebook keyboard warriors, you have always come across as a genuine car enthusiast, I love my Fords but have owned and own and appreciate other brands. We love your channel and content. Your production of exceptional quality video's reveals your talents and enthusiasm and I'm sure they help and are inspiring many like minded viewers. Some people are jealous of your successful channel and seem to only want to drag you down to their mediocre level.

I really dont understand why people hate on other people car choices, makes no sense to me, Id admitt im a ford guy (just brought a 91 fairmont lol) but doesnt mean i dont want a holden, and to be honest im looking forward seeing how this magna turns out too.
I had a late model Magna for a company car and it was a great drive and comfortable. I am a hand on heart Ford man and would prefer the Bitsamissing over the Commode a door 🙂. Keep coming up with great content Sean love your channel!
I'm a JDM person through n through but I also own a German car British car and in past 5 years got into the Local Ford and Holdens because my brother got a 98 VT Senator and a SSV VE a blast to drive and my friend has a FG XR8 those cars with manual are a gem to drive. Like you said how do you know something unless you give it a try? and I love Aussie cars too because of that! Glad your giving the Aussie Magna Ralliart recognition. I personally never knew they were also engine tuned by ralliart Australia thats really cool. Excited for this series. Who cares what a troll says noo need to explain yourself keep doing what your doing we're all behind you Sean!
Lol. In cars for the money, that’ll be the day…. It’s a Magna and it will be worth what a buyer is prepared to pay no more no less. All cars go on the market for what the owner thinks it worth, usually much higher than what a buyer wants to pay. Most people let emotions dictate the price of their cars for sale. At the end of the day you’ll get what your willing to take and the buyer is willing to part with. I’m looking forward to see what you do with the Magna. Always enjoy your posts. Keep up the good work mate 👍

Just ignore the haters and keep on restoring your new Ralliart. Who cares if its just 'another magna', there's absolutely nothing wrong with what you're doing. You'll eventually finish with something astonishing and you won't regret it. The Brisbane Magna community welcomes you..
exactly dude send this ralliart to the moon
I think Sean just landed his version of Full Boosts Bench talk. Love it.
I'm excited to follow the progress of the Magna, love your channel!
Yeah, I really don't get it.
Well said.
Au fairlane… no such thing as a nu fairlane.
The scene from Top Secret for reference: ruclips.net/video/61AWnIZrT5g/видео.html
@@FuManchu5ltr Well said. Especially about the great comedy movie Top Secret.
People like Mal is why I stopped posting about my projects and what I'm doing. It's my money and my time, mind your own business. You're doing fine Sean!
I am out of groups like that now (even the Ford ones) which is kind of sad.
I can't believe you had to make a video like this. You seem like the most genuine person on RUclips! Love your work and content.
I also love our Aussie Falcons and Fairmonts (why I follow your channel).
i remember you from the old forums
Most underappreciated are people on youtube such as yourself, GavsShed, Nadeene (missmitsu, magna madness admin) that step through things which I can't be more thankful for
Too bad I can't even find an archive to compile most of the useful knowledge built up over the years on aussiemagna - waybackmachine just returns an error when going into the subforums, not sure how well leadfoot6's efforts were to find or rebuild an archive, I'm not sure he's on the facebook groups
Im stoked about this build not because i love magna's but because its different. Keep up the work buddy
Don’t worry about all the trolls Sean, you should be proud of what you are doing to celebrate Aussie made cars & anyone in their right mind would recognise that. I’m very excited to see where the Magna takes you & see the finished result. A great choice for your next project car! 👍🏼
Thanks mate. Got stuck into it on the weekend and starting to feel better about it.
Agreed, he shouldnt have had to make this video. He has done nothing wrong. If he makes a profit on the car thats his business.
I drove my parents TJ magna on my Learners and I absolutely loved it 👍
Sean keep up the awesome content ,don't waste another minute on the Noise...really looking forward to seeing how the Magna goes...all the best
There is something really wrong in the car community when someone questions another enthusiasts motives for buying a car; you shouldn't have to justify your actions.
most magna people are wankers, theres fuck all good people left, the community was good 10 years ago when we were learning
i am selling 2 x ralliarts atm check gumtree dimboola
All you deserve is props for your videos and efforts. Negativity can take a hike. Rock on, man!
Didn’t even know there was Magna enthusiasts. Never seen a All Magna show advertisement either . Sean don’t feed their hate with a response , do what makes you happy cheers Bob .👊
I'm a Ford guy too but I'm excited to see what you do with this Magna 😀
Well. When you say excited, do you mean mildly interested or like excited like a 13yr old seeing a BigW undies catalogue in the 80’s?
@@FuManchu5ltr I just like the channel and find it interesting what he does with looking into aussie cars and car culture, fixing up the cars and saving a few more Aussie cars from the wreckers when no more Aussie cars are made anymore. I work on my own car, a 2006 BF Falcon XT station wagon.
Best way to handle people like that is to ignore them IMO.
Real people (not trolls) understand what your doing on this channel, keep it up mate
Never argue with a drunk or a fool. Boy…ain’t that good advice. 🤣
Good day Sean,
I have only just recently subscribed and are loving the video’s.
You currently have almost 30k subscribers who I would dare say are loving the videos too.
Please don’t waste your energy on people who just want to bring you down.
Your title says it all “MotoringBox” which I would assume would include all cars not just Fords 😅
Keep up the good work ✌️
I wish you bought a Ford, BUT, stuff what anyone is saying! Your channel is great and love seeing the bits and pieces you do with your cars. I for one cannot wait to see how it turns out. Enjoy & more power to you if you end up making some money on it. Keep em coming!!
Lol another ford 😂😬🤣
Thanks!
Enjoy your magna don't worry about the heaters if you need any info on your magna I'm more than happy to help, I've had my magna tj vrx for 4years and loving it every day 😊
You'll break even if you're lucky. Looking forward to a fun ride.
You don't need to explain yourself due to negative listeners/reviews. I enjoy your channel regardless of what car you buy. No explanation needed!
Glad it's you rescuing this Magna mate 👍 you've proven you're the right person for the job through previous projects
I’m sorry this is happening to you. The true Magna enthusiasts are happy for anyone to enjoy the car!
I’ve also kicked him from the group. We don’t condone that behaviour
Sean check out her channel , ^^^ she has one of the best diy magna channels in the world
@@Roo0ooD thanks mate, appreciate it
I didn't realise that you have a Patreon as a fellow Ralliart Magna Owner got to support you now.
Well said I’m excited to see this as a Ralliart owner!! I will have to checkout your stuff where do I find you to follow?
@@sonjarado1175 sorry was this direct at Sean or myself?
Dear Mr Box You being you is what resonates with people.Petty comments be like water off the Falcons windscreen.
You are doing a service. Fixing classics and showing how to do it. Well done mate.
And by the way, you don't need to explain it to us. We support you for a reason.
I don’t understand what the fuss is!! Ralliart owner here have fun ignore it!!! I’m enjoying seeing your journey!
You don’t owe anyone an explanation. Just here for the build 💪 keep at it 💯
I’m jealous that I couldn’t buy it but I’m happy I get to watch someone respect the car and treat it well
Those of us that have been following you for a few years now Sean understand that, yes you're a Ford guy, but ultimately its Australian Cars you're proud of as you showed with the Holden. Doesn't matter what brand, its an interest that you enjoy presenting and we enjoy soaking in. Keep doing what you're doing. I'll say hi if i see you around the Swich
Over the next few years I'll be getting my ED XR8 Sprint back on the road. Love for you to do a story on them. Mine isn't up for showing as yet. But will be soon enough.
I’m looking forward to what you do to this Magna. Loved the video of you driving it
Love your channel mate.. its been very helpful over the years of my ownership of multiple falcons..
Don't let the internet get to you mate, you bought a car to have some fun and restore, there's nothing wrong with that.
i actually quite like the magna idea, very different ! keep it up man !
Flaming Hedgehog, you summed up my thoughts exactly. 👍
Hey mate, keep up the good work. Don't worry about the knobs, there's one around every door.
Try the bump shop for your paint. My Calais was done there and I was really happy for it.
Keep up the good work mate and ignore the small minds out there 👍
Looking forward to this build, my first car was a Magna so i have a soft spot for them.. good times in that car.
Its great to see content on a rare Magna Ralliart. We didnt get them in NZ Cheers
alot of people on the facebook group will have their own opinions, dont worry about them, u do u, keep up the good work and i cant wait to see it when its done and maybe see it in real life 🔥
Great channel! I’ve had the vrx Magna. Loved it
Just started following yesterday. One of these popped into my FB feed, yesterday. 10k from a dealer , in Cairns. Seems dear, but it is Cairns.
Hey mate I've previously run a magna website and owned 5 Magnas and now a Mitsubishi 380 GT and you fully have my support and I love what you are doing! These people who are negative etc are just trolls and nothing more. You do you buddy 👍👍👍
Crikey Sean, you gave nothing more than praise for the Ralliart. You do great work. Like a hell of a lot of people I'm looking forward to your next vid.
