A similar but more sophisticated idea has already been used In order to charge the batteries for cars In the workshop I used a charger of its structure to be a power of 179 Amps I just have the play button press for playback And a power cutter Works on 220 volts when direct contact occurs between the poles after 3 seconds and cuts directly if a reverse battery is installed but does not interrupt while the engine is running Practically wonderful. Nice proyect! Just one thing... The cutoff voltaje must be little lower... In my experiense any lead acid battery cant be charged over 15v or they can explode
12 volt battery with 16 volt cut off voltage ? that's bad man. as a IDEA kit is good. but actually it will ruin the battery. This cut off voltage actually depends on battery type. But anyway 16 volt can't be cut off voltage for 12 volt battery. To keep the battery healthy it's not correct. Anyway, good idea.
Different type of lead-acid batteries have different maximum voltages AND different float voltages. Go to batteryuniversity.com for more info on diffs between SLA, AGM, etc. lead-acid battery technologies. In addition, some AGM batteries are slightly different from other AGM types and manufacturers provide specific values. Charging voltages outside of specified values can quickly damage a battery, cause vastly premature failure, etc. Even a few tenths of a volt difference on a float charge can mean the difference between a battery lasting 3 years and the same battery lasting 6 years.

Exelente tuto rial pero puedo consultarte una pregunta ya hice el circuito pero a la hora de calibrarlo no me deja al votaje que nesecito quiere mas voltaje para hacer el corte y es arriva de 25v en este caso que tendria que cambiar para que pueda calibrarlo. Gracias Saludos!!
porquè conectas la entrada de linea de CA a la placa de circuito impreso? no se supone que a la placa unicamente se aplica la salida reducida? es decir, los 12V ca? no me queda claro eso... :/
buenas inginiero usted no sabrá como fabrico un generador de puso o tono que usan los tenicos de telefonía yo tengo el receptor el lapiz o chicharra que suena cundo se pasa por el cable pero me falta el que inyecta la señal en el cable el generador de tono le agradeseria si tiene como se fabrica

this circuit board is very nice. all charging Auto cut off circuits are cut secondary bolt but this circuit cut off the primary. save electricity.

The scheme is not same as the lay out, look the red led point, base on the scheme, the red led will be always on while the battery fully charged.
