I love watching your tutorials, but this blew me away! It is impressive how much chemistry there is when you dance together. I admire how smooth you are able to connect all moves and also put some humour into it. :) It was a well-balanced choreo with sensual mood on top of that, awesome job! Sending big applause from the Czech Republic
Hi from USA! I’m a recent subscriber and watched several of your videos. You both are amazing bachata instructors! I especially love watching this routine. 😍 Would it be possible for you to create a tutorial that shows the partner-work for this? I would love to dance to this!
Hello. Thank you for subscribing. This was made a while ago, and other than the footwork/shine part we haven't thought of making a tutorial. We have for now only on the footwork part : ruclips.net/video/z9uJow2i4aU/видео.html . But we will think about doing a tutorial for the whole video.
@@MariusElenaBachata Thank you very much Marius and Elena! I appreciate the consideration and look forward to it. Keep up the good work! Have a nice day!
How is that called Bachata Dancing? I am Dominican, and I can tell you, those movements are not even close to the traditional Bachata. The guys dancing maybe know the technical movements but you are missing something... It doesn't look smooth for me... Les falta la tambora! Good effort but NOT!
I guess that's why they don't but "Bachata Dominicana" into the video title. Think about it like this: if someone makes a video titled "Tango Routine" you wouldn't automatically expect to see Tango Argentino moves - could be a standard ballroom routine. If someone makes a video about Urban Kiz you would not see traditional kizomba style moves. So maybe that's part of the reason - it's another flavour.
Cristal, we understand your point of view. That is why we haven't said in title anything about dominican bachata. And we also know that bachata is originating in the Dominican Republic and what is nowdays called Bachata has a few things in common with the beautifull original dance from DR.
@@iUniversEi I clearly understand that the original "Bachata" from DR has changed a lot... I've seen this "sensual Bachata" they are dancing mainly in European countries. As you mentioned the same has happened to the Tango and others traditional dances around the world... And it is perfect, actually you can dance whatever you want, it is a way to relax and express emotions with your body. What I was claiming was specifically related to the way the movements are done... They are not smooth enough. For me, coming from Latin America, growing with the music in my veins... I can see there is something wrong in their movements. Obviously it is a great effort to reach that level considering they are obviously not Latinos.
@@MariusElenaBachata Guys... as I mentioned in a previous post, I recognize your effort dancing considering you are not Latinos. It is a good thing you bring Latin dancing to other countries and cultures. As I checked on your channel you know so much technical movements that in my case I do it naturally... I may not be able to teach... But keep practicing in a way that your movements can look more natural...
Hi, Cristal. In 2017 I was in Las Terrenas for a bachata festival. We were quite impressed actually as our 2 main teachers' sensual show was received very very well, by the traditional dominican dancers. It was a free entry, so not only for professionals. Then we went to various clubs after classes in Dominican bachata taught by Dominican teachers from Las Terrenas and Santo Domingo. A lot of the local ladies and gents were copying the sensual moves. I guess what I'm saying is there's room for everyone and sometimes flavour and creativity can be appreciated, sometimes it offends. These guys, just like my London teachers, are part of both worlds. We live in different worlds too. Things evolve and one evolution meant we went from being driven in a horse cart to flying in airplanes...
