After 6 lessons I saw this new video and thought the combos rather complex, but after a few more lessons and several hours of social dancing and sympathetic guidance, most of them look doable; so practice, practice, practice and you can probably exceed your expectations! Thank you Marius and Elena.
I love how you guys show the moves …..and your energy is great ….and I get a good laugh at the face gesture’s the both of you make….keep up the great work ….. cheers from Canada
The first bachata tutorial that my husband and I finally understand! and believe me we watched a lot . We appreciate your precision, don't talked to much about the technique and that you focus more in the execution. Thank you guys, you are amazing teachers. I think we finally able to dance our first bachata dance combo in a fiesta latina 💃🕺🏻
I really like this video, teaches a lot with being overly complicated. One thing I am not sure on is how do you indicate a wave with the hands? Literally move like a wave? Keep up the good work!!!
Love these combos. Thank you so much you guys. We started dancing a couple of months before the pandemic and we're just now getting back into it, and I discovered this gem of a video. You lead it right, partner will follow. Thanks a million for adding some spice to beginner's moves.
They make it look so easy. I'm a new beginner, and it's tough to find someone on the same level to practice with. Lots of dancers in beginners class usually already have experience. Gonna stay the course though !
We understand 🥲 many schools around the world don't focus on student progression. Our groups last 6 months minimum (1 level). We have groups that have 2 years so it's easier to progress when you have a progression.
Combo 7 is my favorite although I've never been taught it. The slide and wave just looks nice in social dancing, and is a cool figure to do if you run out of ideas on the 4 count.
this is fantastic! thanks guys. ive had a lot of classes but still dont have enough moves to get through an entire song. i've watched a lot of videos but they either havent had enough moves or were too complicated. this is exactly what i was lookiung for. not sure why others didnt make content like this. i think this will be all i need. any suggestions on how to remember all this? in the first combo you gave names for everything (pretzel, walk, undo etc). idk what the rest of the moves are called though. any suggestions?
Always there is a sequence of 2 signals that followers need to know: where, and what. But we understand what you are saying. It would be a lot easier if the followers wait until the last moment to understand what is going on.
@@onoes9646 It's possible. Try to focus on what you want to do, and analyze the result, than modify the signal... Trial and error. This is the best way to learn. Especially because each one of us dances in it's own way.

I just danced at social. I was terrible😅🤣. The lady just didn’t understand my moves😅. You guys make it seem so easy, but is a science 🙌🏽.
Everything comes with practice and focus :D You got this :D

Our pleasure. We were sure that with practice you will get them in no time :D We are glad you kept up the work and you had success :D

Giving the names of all the basic moves that make a combo is really useful Marius, thank you!
Glad you like it. We are working on something that will help a lot with the names and syllabus. A progression platform of sorts :P Coming soon.
I love these combos but my body is stiff and inflexible. But there is no harm in trying and providing comedy on the dance floor. Thanks a million.
😁 you can just do some flexibility exercises. They do wonders 😅
No no. Yes yes. :D Great teaching, fantastic lead signal advice, and a bit of humor sprinkled in.
Best teaching style 🤣🤣 thank youuu

All the follows in my area treat lifting their arm as a cue for them to turn, so a couple of those might be difficult. I do like it overall, though.

@@MariusElenaBachata I've got a lot more practice with salsa than bachata, so it could also be that I'm not leading them quite right.

Can you make another video with 8 more?
Will do :P
The song is fire which is the title?
I've been just trying to turn myself, but for some reason my dance partner keeps turning. Is there something I need to be careful of?

es en la description, primer link.
If you can master the first 3. The rest are similar.
