A lot of time & expence in redoing these old cars, I know it was in my 68 coupe ! Good luck ! 👍🏻
Love it man! Keep pressing record!
You got it! 👍
Always wanted to build something like this..no money no time, Keep us updated. Love the doggo checking you out frequently if you are ok
Thank you! There will definitely be more coming. I work full time so I only get to fix my cars on my days off which is why I don't upload as much as I'd like to. I will definitely keep updating!
Love your Hot wheeles wall!!!
Thank you! I had to take it down, cars were getting to dirty but whenni get a bigger shop I plan on bringing them back and build a frame around them
another guy who has a mustang build is FixItNick.... excellent work. Check out his video on cowl replacement.... no mustang is really done right unless this has been attended to. He is a close 2nd to Peterson Restorations.... but he works on lots of other vehicles. As far as interior swapping, frame damage, etc... the best channel to watch is vehcor.... a guy named Scott out of the Chicago area. He's doing a mustang build too... but he works on EVERYTHING and makes REALLY GOOD money buying wrecks, repairing them and selling them.
you have got a great start it’s a long process . i suggest a wire wheel for cleaning and epoxy primer every thing. also watch jodaddys garage he’s got a ton of info on his channel
I bought a 66 mustang for 3,500$ and my floor, and trunk metal was brand new. My mechanic is rebuilding the motor for it now. I just need new interior, and brand new gages for the dashboard. I will probably order a new front grill for it with the fog lights included. The back tail lights were out of the car, but they was brand new.
Nice!!! Try Cj Pony Parts they should have most if not all the parts you will need.
@@musclecustoms1967 I saw that site they did have a lot of parts! I bought a rebuild kit for a 351 Windsor motor. 289 was the original motor either somebody blew that motor up or they wanted more power.
@@javiersanchez1661 have you considered coyote swapping it?
@@musclecustoms1967 Not yet i think i saw a video about it.
@@javiersanchez1661 I mean at that point you're doing a restomod and would have to do a lot of fab work. If you're just looking for a weekend cruiser that 351 is good enough
Advice for mustang sheet metal? Watch the channel Peterson Restorations.... he is almost exclusively mustangs, and I've never seen a better metal man for a mustang.
+SamuelArmistead @SamuelArmistead I meant to reply to your comment but I accidentally deleted it. If you read this please reply so that I can reply back to your message. Sorry about that.
Do you have a video where you show the hot wheels on the wall?
I may have a viedo that I took long ago. But I have since taken them down and boxed them up, some of the hot wheels were colletible and were getting very dirty.
@muscle customs
Hey man, you uploaded this video 1 year ago. I browsed through your playlist but I only found this video (part 1) to this 67’ mustang restoration. Where’s all the other videos for this mustang’s updated progress?
Unfortunately I had to sell the project. It was a difficult decision I had to make but at the moment it had to be done. It was purchased by a restoration shop they claimed a customer wanted a restored 67 Mustang I've been planning on visiting the shop to see if the car was ever finished for the customer then seeing if i can go check it out and make a video on it but so far life has not allowed me to do so. Little by little I want to make fixing up old cars a full time thing but im not quite there yet. I am however interested in restoring another 67 Mustang one day as it was the first car in my collection I sadly did not get to finish..
Hi I’m new but I have a 1967. Ford Mustang baby blue
Nice! Mine is Brittany Blue. Are you going to restore yours?
Yes I’m it needs a lot a work it set for 30 something years and it has the 289 in it. Factory air and the factory engine
@@MrGamePlus Mine sat for 15 - 20 years so I can imagine how yours is, luckily a lot of companies make reproduction parts for pretty much every part of the car.
Hlw... I am Monjit from india, I see your video, I like your video,, so,.. Do you some help me??
Hello, yes how can I help?
Were do you buy your parts from ?
Cj Pony Parts
Actually, I have a old car, so I can re restoration my car.. So help me
🤔 What's the name of the piece that goes under the cowl. This is new to me.
Lower Cowl Panel
@@musclecustoms1967 So there's a upper and lower?
Yes, its the Upper cowl then the lower cowl then the firewall
@@musclecustoms1967 Thank you. I'll be sure to add the lower to my wish list.
@@raheem8858 No Problem!
Looking great! Doing the rust repairs on old Mustangs is a drawn out process since they weren't treated well against rust from the factory and started leaking early from the back glass and the cowl. If you haven't seen Jo Daddy's Garage channel before, it has tons of helpful how-to videos to assist in rebuilding old Mustangs: ruclips.net/user/Stryker679 . Here is the progress on my own '67 Mustang rust bucket: ruclips.net/video/ypdzRwA7Zuo/видео.html
For sure ill definitely check him out. Im not all that good at welding luckily I have a friend who is very good at it. He's going to show me how to weld in the new parts.
Awesome work, congrats on your own garage! I have a 67 convertible that I have been working on as well. Check out my progress ruclips.net/video/ZG8d4NbZrZo/видео.html. Keep up the good work.
Looks like yours is nearly complete. I still have much more to go!
