Another amazing tutorial by gimp workshop. Excellent pacing, detailed instructions, great teaching voice! I look forward to reviewing all your other tutorials. Thank you. Shalom.
Many thanks for this tutorial. For me, as a beginner, I found it very easy to follow and the style is friendly and encouraging. As I have 2.10, I will have to take the additional notes into account. I have "colourise". Is this the same as "colorify"?
Hello Peter Bargh Thank you for taking the time to post your kind comment. I am glad the video(s) are helpful. If you have any questions, just post them and I will do my best to answer them if I can. Have fun with Gimp and ... have a nice day. 😄Jan. GW.
Thanks for showing the various methods. Great video. BTW I can't seem to find the article in the description that is mentioned at the end of the video. Apologies if it's there and I'm too hungover from last night to see it ;)
Haha, grat2010, it's definitly not your hungover 😄 the link is just not there my friend. I have forgotten to add it, must be my old age 😉 But now it is there. Thanks for letting me know, have a great day!
Hello Cosmo Ianiro. 😃I guess that is possible, but maybe there are more effective ways. I have no tut on that, but there are several good ones on RUclips. Anyway, thank you for you input and have a nice day! 😎
Black and white IS NOT greyscale. Greyscale IS monochrome but it is not black and white. Black and white uses ONLY black pixels and white pixels NOT grey. Look at newspaper photos, they are screened to BLACK and WHITE the tonal graduation is caused by larger or smaller areas of black ink. Computer screens use GREYSCALE - NOT - SCREENING. Rename your video please.
👉Tip: Gimp 2.10 users: Please read the video description for some additional notes 👈

Great!!!!
