  • Planning and educating your kids at home is difficult, but trying to manage a home on top of it? 😵
A few years ago an experienced momma shared her strategy for success called “prep week.” The idea is simple, but the effects are powerful: take a week off of school lessons every 6 weeks to plan, prepare, and catch up on projects. Kids learn life-skills and you get a chance to catch your breath.
I’ve been using this strategy for a couple years now and it has made a huge difference in my ability to get things done and maintain my sanity.
In this video I show you what I do during prep week and talk about how I structure our school year.
If you want more details about any of the things I mention in the video, leave a comment and I’ll work on making videos for the most popular subjects!

Im so glad they’ve been helpful! Before you have kids is a Great time to start learning because, I can tell you from experience, it’s much harder when you’re in the thick of things 😆

@@simplewondersacademy would you be open to share how you continue homeschooling your older children when you have a new baby, especially in your postpartum phase?

I would love to be more organized and structured to help reduce stress. Do you have a video with some meal prep ideas or frozen meals.
Also what sort of testing do you do ?

I love this! I have two toddler boys & a newborn girl, and I'm trying to figure out how to start homeschooling - and feel so overwhelmed with having to do it on top of all the house things already! This is so helpful to hear how you do it🥰

The toddler and infant stage is SO HARD. I remember going to bed so exhausted and overwhelmed every night when I had two young kids and a baby. You got this!
